We offer high efficiency energy saving systems including high SEER Energy Star rated systems. Casteel is an avid recycler and we are environmentally responsible in the field and in the office.
Tech came to my home because both units were not working. Was told main unit won't come on but can get upstairs unit working with new part and refrigerate. Paid $700 and sale person would come... tomorrow to give complete quote on both units. Salesperson quoted $12k. Wanted another estimate so scheduled another independent person. He came and turned on main unit, didn't come on first time, remove cover, fan was stuck, cleared fan. Main unit worked instantly, paid $50 to tech. Called Casteel to complain, they insisted they will stand by techs and didn't offer refund. Now I don't trust the unethical practices of the company....DONT RECOMMEND NO MATTER WHO THEIR SPOKESPERSON IS!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

My heating unit would not turn off and I remember hearing the radio commercial on the Fish, " you don'pay for freion casteel heating and cooling" you know, couldn't get it out of my head. So I called, set up the service and now I have a warm home for my brand new grandbaby that happened to come home the same day the unit got fixed. by the way I also got the maintenance plan and now am covered for the Spring cooling srevice. I'm happy with my srevice Thanks Casteel.

I had a bad phone experience with Amber, who was quite rude, but I later found out she worked for a phone service and not for Casteel directly. John, the plumbing manager, went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was well taken care of and completely changed my mind about the company. I now feel very confident in using their services, and look forward to doing so in the future. Thanks John!! :)

The bad service never ends. When Selling service agreement "filters are free" fast forward to time of service "filters are $60". When installing new AC, "no new drainage pipes needed". When unclogging drainage pipes 3 months after installation, "here is a quote for the cost to install new drainage pipes. When taking the attic stairs and molding down to fit the new AC system they said "it will look like we never touched it once complete" After a week of the attack stairs and molding not being re-installed they were reinstalled without molding, now we have an unpainted square around the attack stairs. If I could take out the new system and start over I would.

Additionally, I want to make sure we have all the details correct, as our standard filters are always free with our maintenance plan. However, this could be a case where you have a high efficiency filter that's more expensive. If Casteel failed to communicate this to you, then we certainly take responsibility, and can provide you with some filters at no charge. With respect to the other issues you reference, I want to make sure we take care of those asap. I'm sorry we have failed to provide the service you expect, but we always take ownership and will make things right. The group of guys that installed my HVAC system were prompt, respectful, informative and thorough. .
We were very impressed with the quality of work done by Brian. He explained the repairs that needed to be tackled and the price. His work was outstanding and he always took the time to answer all my questions. I tell friends and family to call Casteel when they need anything done...from heating and air to plumbing!! Excellent job.
I have been using Casteel for the past few years to service my AC and heater. Over the years I have had 3 technicians service my units. All 3 have been knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They provide a time window that they will arrive in and give a call when the tech is in route. I have never been stuck waiting for service as they always come within the scheduled window of time. I am very happy with the customer service that Casteel provides. I highly recommend Casteel.
Chuck was very impressive in everything he did..including explaining his service and also gave practical advice for me to prolong the life of my systems.
I've lived in Atlanta for 12 years and have had them all. Finally, I called Casteel. They are responsive, professional, accurate, courteous, and affordable. No gimmicks. Thankfully, I'm done looking and will stick with them as long as I'm here!
My experience through the process with Casteel and Home Depot was good; there was only a slight scheduling issue. Lamar from Casteel and the crew that installed two hvac units were professional, polite and knowledgeable.
Jon matched and quoted me on an HVAC replacement system. I was impressed with his honesty and quick answers to my questions. I even had a manager communicate with me letting me know that he was available if I had any questions. Installation was good; they cleaned up well. I had a problem with garage door -they fixed and even went beyond with other repairs to it.Outstanding customer service & quick response - something that I have rarely found.
If you're like me, when I have to call in a professional into my home, I all too often feel as if I might be taken advantage of. Not so with Casteel. I've had a number of interactions with a variety of their team and I can testify "They are who they say they are...customer focused and trusted advisors." They took time and used video and images to show me what was going on in my crawl space, alleviating the need for me to crawl under my home to confirm their findings. I highly recommend them for your heating & AC needs.
Casteel installed a new heating system in my home a year ago and also has inspected/tuned up both of my HVAC systems twice. Casteel technicians are excellent. They are friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, as is the customer service staff at the office. Casteel offers a great of variety of top-notch HVAC systems at very competitive prices. I will not be using anyone else for my HVAC needs and can highly recommend them!
We have used casteelair as our maintenance service for 6 or 7 years, shortly after moving to the area. I have been happy until now. Over the summer the ac maintenance was done and we were told there were so many things wrong with the unit it would have to be replaced. Our home warranty service came out, added freon after clearing clog and the unit is working. I called a few times and was told a manager would call but never did. I got the feeling they are always trying to replace a unit rather than fix it but most of all they demonstrated poor customer service. They never called. Time to find a new company.
I called today to schedule to get a quote on having some plumbing and duct work done and to relocate a water heater. The young lady I spoke to was polite but it seems Casteel has changed things up a bit. It seems they are more focused on sales rather than customer service. She says we charge $89 to come out and give a quote and they will send a licensed plumber but if you schedule now we will come out for $39. With the couple thousand I am about to spend to relocate pipes, ducts and a water heater $39 for a quote is an insult especially when their website has a link to wells fargo finance and states "free quote". They are ruining the brand Bob has worked so hard for many years to create. I have used them in the past for residential and commercial HVAC and they do exceptional work, the best I have ever seen. Just disappointed in the aggressiveness of trying to schedule a quote and ...paying for a quote? Maybe if I go for a job interview in the future I will charge $89 for my time to attend and their consideration to hire me see how that works out for me.
