Matthew's Tree Service Inc.

Had a tree fall over during the last storm and was leaning on another tree close to the house. Called around Friday afternoon and had a few people come out on Saturday to provide estimates. One company was WAY over priced, and Matthew's was within budget and exactly the same amount as another company, so I knew he was being fair.

Matthew was very friendly, down to earth & definitely knew his stuff. He worked with me to reduce the cost by not having to haul away the wood, but instead cut for firewood. I selected them since they were able to have a crew out Sunday morning (Christmas weekend no less), since they were finishing another job in the area.

To my surprise, his crew was on location around 10AM and immediately went to work. They had a guy climb the tree to secure it from hitting the house and started cutting away. The leaning tree was gently lowered with a rope as they cut away from the base. As for the standing tree, that was cut from the top down in 5’ sections or so. He was really good at making sure the pieces he cut off landed flat so the yard wasn’t damaged. These guys were done in an hr, and even neatly stacked ALL of the firewood pieces. They also used a blower to make sure you never knew they were there.

Will use again in the future for sure!
