Taylor Construction

I am replacing the bedroom windows in a rental property we own. It is on a busy street and I am trying to do everything I can to reduce the street noise. I read the reviews for several companies in Georgia and chose Taylor for one of the 3 I was going to get estimates from. When I called to set up the appointment I was told that my husband would have to be present during the visit to bid the job. I offered to give her the information so she could do a credit check on me, so they wouldn't waste their time coming out to speak with me if I couldn't afford to have the work done. But she refused. I have already remodeled the bathrooms, and put a new roof and gutters on the home--without my husband being present. I am looking forward to spending a lot of money on these new windows and then sending the invoice to Taylor Construction company so they can see the business they lost. We are not in the 50s anymore.(I can't rate the quality or the value because I didn't get that far. I gave them a one star for service, but the program demands ratings in each area.)

I can only rate the "soft sell" as our salesperson called it. He arrived on time and spent a few minutes looking at the house and asking a lot of personal questions (school, kids, spouse, how we met, what i did in my spare time, etc). I wouldn't even say he did as close an inspection as his competitor. In setting up the call, they indicated that they needed both me and my spouse home. After 1/2 an hr, my wife still had not arrived - he was going to leave and stated that he would not continue unless she was there (it took several weeks to set up an appt. when I would be home). I assured him that she would be here in time for his demonstration and that we either continued or I would just go with the first contractor - at which point he agreed, but also indicated that he had another appt that afternoon. My wife and I met with him - where most of the pitch was against the other competitor and less about the service they would provide. Eventually, he came up with a price on the laptop, but wouldn't put it down in writing for us to review - although it was "good for 90 days". He indicated he knew he was more expensive than the competitor, but the competitor provided only provided "buck eighty-nine windows". I would share with you the salesperson's name, but he mumbled it in his introduction and never left a card, estimate, email, or anything. It was clear that he wanted a decision that day and I am sure we disappointed - for us a $6k purchase is significant.

We appreciated how friendly and thorough Cory Brumbelow was with his presentation of the products offered by Taylor Construction for redoing our gutter system. He spent time with us, showed us exactly what to expect during installation, and gave us an exact price for the jobno hidden costs....

I had Taylor construction come out to give me an estimate for my gutters, After I had 2 previous companies out the day before. I can tell you from the time LaCoya Wright my salesperson came in the house I was impressed. He thoroughly educated me on my current gutter system as well showed me the urgency in why I needed to do business with Taylor Construction. No pressure at all to buy. Will be using them for any additional home improvement needs.

We set up an appointment with Taylor Construction for some new gutters on our home. The sales rep (Cory) arrived at our home on time and was very knowledgeable and helpful. This company and product is great and my husband and I love our new gutters! We recommend Taylor Construction to every home owner.
