Dylan is awesome! He came and fixed my bursted pipe from the freezing weather last week. He cut a minimal hole in the ceiling and went directly to the source of the problem. Thank you for excellent... customer service and satisfaction,VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
This company went above and beyond to educate me about Septic Tanks and provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. They are upfront. And You should be upfront with them. Let them know... your situation and budget and circumstances. A very understanding and helpful company.I will continue to use their services and without any hesitation refer their name to others as I hope to see them grow as big as Waste Management due to their impeccable services.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I would not recommend this company for septic tank service. First, they did not arrive at designated time window. Secondly, the service technician did not identify correct tank size. (He wanted to charge for pumping a larger size than we actually have.) Additionally, the service technician may try to charge you for extra services not needed or not required by other reputable septic tank pumping companies, i.e. excessive solids (+$250), tree root removal (+$250), additives ($+138) and Enviro charge ($25). In our case, the price we were quoted on the phone ($345) turned out to be about $1,000 with all these adds, which we declined. Recommend doing research and reading Kudzu.com reviews prior to calling for septic tank pumping service.
If you are hoping to get "a good deal", Delta is probably not who you are looking for. If you are hoping to have things done right, it will be, and you will pay accordingly for all the overhead that goes along with having a large company. I was quoted $545 to replace my garbage disposal. The part is $150 and the time it takes to do the job is ~1 hour. The very high end labor price reflects all the overhead. I declined this service. While at my home, the plumber noticed that the exhaust vent on the hot water heater was not properly sealed. I was quoted $202 to fix this, because it sounded important. To fix the issue, the problem was resolved in less than 10 minutes with less than $10 in tape. I will not use Delta again. I already reached out to Amanda and Jack over at Delta before publishing this review. They stand by their prices, and that's fine.
Saw their ad on the internet 188 for septic tank pump .... So I called the office was so nice I even complimented Teri that set up the appointment . I'm not going make this long but Todd the tech. War dialed me to talk prior which started to make me uncomfortable . I knew he was setting me up for a up charge . But never did I think it would be 1300 ..... I Ask them to leave the property. !!! I got someone else for a third of the price ..... I called a manager he tried to to convince me Todd was right. This company is needs to be reported !!!
It is our policy for the customers to be made aware over the phone of possible additional charges for service. Our technicians give upfront pricing at the job to allow the customers the opportunity to make the decision to have the work done or not.
Our technician took pictures of this customer’s septic tank and sent them to the manager for further verification. The manager agreed with the technician that the customer had other issues with his tank that needed addressing.
We want to give customers quality service and we are not in the business of trying to bait and switch anyone. Delta Plumbing has been in business for 40 years and we always strive to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction. We regret that this customer was unhappy with the service received.

Kevin and Wesley have been to my house twice within the year. Both times were pleasant given the crappy situation.Their first visit cost us a good bit of money but it was very much needed. I didn't expect to have then back out 8 months later. Kevin explained everything very well and understood my frustration. Him and Amanda worked everything out for us and made us happy. I will refer delta to friends and family. As long as they don't hold their breath waiting for Josh, the supervisor to call back, They will have a great experience. It's been 2 weeks and Josh still hasn't called as promised. If it weren't for my amazing crew and Amanda in the office, I wouldn't do business there anymore. I guess 3 great employees make up for one that can't pick up a phone.
Remembering their ad, “$79 LINE CLEARING” on the radio as well as their website, I called and talked with Terry at Delta Pluming for an appointment to clear slow draining kitchen sink. Due to some bad reviews, I asked Terry if the ad was correct and that there will be no additional charges. I was assured that $79 ad is current to clear a drain and the $39 diagnostic charge will be waived if the work was performed. My wife waited and met with Damon M, the plumber, who insisted that regardless of what was told initially by Terry, there will be $15 “fuel surcharge” and $74.25 “to take off the drain trap” in addition to $79. Because I was working close to my home, I drove to my house just to unscrew 2 RINGS SIMPLY BY Hand to release the drain trap to avoid the unmentioned extra charge. BE AWARE, regardless of what you are initially told, “The Educated Plumber” WILL CHARGE you additional fees no matter what they advertise or tell you personally on the phone! It was my belief that businesses advertise & offer specials to have consumers try their services and products to keep on using them in the future. Delta Plumbing has offered specials so that the customers can write bad reviews and warn others ?!?! BAD business practice Delta Plumbing
Dear Customer, Terri has been with Delta Plumbing for two weeks and is still in training. We will certainly make sure she understands that the customers need to be informed over the phone of the fuel surcharge and the possibility of any additional charges on top of the specials. It is our practice for the technicians to assess the problem and inform the customer of any additional work that needs to be done at the time of service. Our technicians give upfront pricing at the job to allow the customers the opportunity to make the decision to have the work done or not. Delta Plumbing has been in business for 40 years and we always strive to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Had to repipe the second floor of my house due to "blue poly". Jerry and David listened to my concerns and were able to completely repipe the second floor and only had to 'cut' one 'public' wall (not in a closet). This was critical with the Christmas holidays just a week away!
On Wednesday before Thanksgiving I developed a leak under my sink. Delta Plumbing agreed to come. I expected to pay extra because of the time of day, but my charge was way out of line. I was quoted $1485.56. I paid $1366.56 (due to my preferred customer discount???). The plumber took the pipes apart, went to Home Depot to buy the parts, returned and gave me the quote. I had no choice but to have it fixed. I have done research on the Home Depot site, we have less than $100.00 in parts, 2 hours of labor. JUST AS SURELY AS A THIEF ROBBED ME OF THE MONEY, DELTA DID THE SAME. TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY HAVING NO OTHER CHOICE (THANKSGIVING EVE, A HOUSE FULL OF COMPANY), AND LEFT ME WITH A SMALL LEAK AND A DISHWASHER WHICH NO LONGER WORKED. I DID NOT ALLOW THEM TO RETURN, AS THE PLUMBER, SAID IT WOULD COST MORE. DELTA APPEARS TO BE EDUCATED ONLY IN HOW TO STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Delta Plumbing has contacted this customer and we are reviewing the invoice and reviewing the prices with the technician. We take customer service very seriously and we have a set price book that all of our technicians use. If this customer was over charged we will refund the money to the customer.
Above and beyond the call of duty. Very experienced, took the time to analyze the problem, very courteous, and fixed it. Highly recommend them and will plan to use again if needed in the future.
I had a toilet clogged up and I call them looking at their special price for $79, well that was good for days only and it would cost around 400 in evening which was a bit much but ok, So I scheduled the appointment for morning. A plumber showed up in morning and did camera inspection. There is toy(or something else as he was not sure) stuck and he quoted $1549 as he has to dig the yard which I don't know why? I said no and he charged me $40 which was not we agreed to. The original price was $79 or no charges if job is not done. While he was leaving, he dropped the price to $1200 if we pay in cash.... NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
Dear Customer, On Kudzu we have no way of knowing who you are. We would like to look into this further if you could please call our office and ask for Amanda. The technician is correct we do only offer the $79.00 special Monday - Friday 8-5 and it has to be an accessible line (all exclusions are stated on our website) We have a regular $39.00 service call if we come out and find a leak and do nothing to repair it. We apologize if this was not explained correctly to you. Again though we would really like the opportunity to go over your invoice and speak to the technician that you dealt with. Please call our office and let us look into this.
My husband and I were very happy with the service we received from Kevin and Beef. They were aware of the issue and encouraged us to trust them and thankfully we did. It cost more than we planned but after seeing what had not been done by a prior company which caused more problems, we believed Kevin and proceeded with the job. They were easy to talk to and I could tell they knew what they were doing. You have very good employees working for you. We appreciate the job they did.
it was time for a Septic Tank cleaning so I called several companies and decided to use Delta. Kevin and Wesley showed up and completed the work in a timely manner. I was mostly satisfied with all they did and would would use Delta again. Both Kevin and Wesley were very polite and professional.
Jerry was on time, very nice and knowledgeable. him and his helper David did awesome work. I will definitely call back for my future plumbing needs.
I explain to the technician do not make any repairs until he provided a quote, he came upstairs "stated your husband signed the contract" I said it cheaper to buy a new to toilet he said no to rebuild was cheaper , it would be guarantee for 6 months, my husband has alzheimer disease , Two Strokes, Open heart surgery. Jerry came downstairs gave me the contract I was shock, i told him not to touch the bathroom downstairs, he responded "your husband sign so I have to fix it.I wrote him a check for $483.00 instead of having a 6 months guarantee it was 30days i knew i had to do something so i went and purchase a new toilet, the next day i received a revised guarantee for 1 year instead of 30 days, the technician had been consulting with me , but once i expressed apprehension he coerced my husband to sign. Although I was communicative and expressed my wishes initially, i felt helpless. He Capitalize on our misfortunes and took advantage of a bad situation. I do not have anything good to say about Delta plumbing.
We recently searched for a great deal on new hot water heater and installation. We came across $599 special with your company and called. Person we spoke to indicated that there would be addl minimum charges depending on type of water heater we had. What we did not expect was the additional charge equaled the special price that was quoted. There was no mention that the additional charge on a conventional hot water installation would be more than the special advertised price.Since we were in need of a hot water heater, likelihood of us sending you away to get another estimate would have cost more delays. You can be sure that we have learned our lesson with this experience and will never call you again for our plumbing need. Consumers beware... Great deal is not all its cracked up to be with this company.
Dear debtfree11, Unfortunately we have no way of knowing who you are on Kudzo or we would try to contact you by phone to go over your invoice with you. We do care very much about our customers and our customer satisfaction. We would have liked the opportunity to talk to you and handled this in our office. We want to make sure our customers are happy. We do try to be very clear over the phone when people call in about our specials that there are some exclusions and somethings the Specials do not cover. One of the things not covered for water heaters are code upgrades. If a code upgrade has to be made this is an additional fee. We have no way of knowing if you will need a code upgrade until the Tech gets there. Again though we try to be very clear about this over the phone when someone calls and it is standard for our receptionist to let people know that the specials do not include any code upgrades that may have to be made for installation. Our Techs also give all prices upfront to give the customer the opportunity to call someone else if you think our price is too high. While it may be an inconvenience to call another company out you do have the choice to do that since we do offer upfront pricing. In addition all of our specials are listed online on our website and show all of the exceptions and exclusions that the special does not cover. We are a family owned and operated business that has been in business for over 40 years because we care about our customers and offer such good service. We are not and have no reason to bait and switch anyone, we have specials just like any other company, but the specials only apply to certain things. Again we care about our customers and we are still happy to review your invoice with you if you would like to give us a call at the office, 770-474-5555. Please ask for Amanda Ori, she is the office manager.
