We had our windows replaced on February 13, 2015 by Taylor Construction, and in many experiences that I've in life salesman over promise and under deliver, but that is not the case with Taylor... construction. They delivered a great product on time. I would have full confidence to use this company for any future needs.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We live in an one and a half story home with an extremely steep pitch to the roof. A roofer fell off as it was being constructed, so every time my husband cleaned the gutters I worried. To fall off the back of the house would mean almost certain death as the gutters are off the ground by about 25 feet. Enter Taylor Construction and the leaf guard gutters. We consider these gutters to worth the price since it means my almost 60 year old husband won't be taking his life into his hands every time he cleaned the gutters. Robert Lackey was very professional in explaining how these gutters differ from the ones we had and did not use any high pressure techniques. He let the gutters do the talking. Thank you Taylor Construction.

Gaylagt, we love hearing from our happy customers and are happy to hear that you're enjoying your new gutter guard system. If we can help you with anything else, please let us know.
My wife and I purchased sliding and gutters back in 2003 and a remodel a bathroom a few years ago. The sliding is starting to fade and the main reason we went with Taylor was the fact they said it would not fade. So we called today only to find out Taylor was brought out a few years back and the new owners did not purchase the warranties. So we are pretty much screwed. So Taylor I guess you can say good bye to doing our other bathroom, windows.

We contracted with Taylor to replace our gutters. Their spiel was "we're not the cheapest, but we are the best". While the gutters look lovely, getting them done was painful. They came out for the third time this weekend to fix it. They were supposed to add some gutter in the front and rerout our downspouts and replace all others. Multiple issues with original install. They simply attached the gutters to some rotted facia board they were supposed to replace, pitch was incorrect in one spot and they didn't do any of the work on the front of the house, and the crew didn't even know that was part of the job. After several text messages with pictures to the salesperson, we got a call from the "project manager" saying "I hear you have issues", then ANOTHER call from the install crew asking the same question and wanting us to explain everything to each. They came out again and only added gutters to the front, without rerouting downspouts, which was the whole point of adding gutters. After more calls, they came again and finally got it right, after we insisted they do it the way it was quoted or not charge us for the work. Though the crews were incredibly nice and the gutters are beautiful, we will never use Taylor again. It wasn't worth the hassle of communicating with them. Also, they left a ton of screws in our driveway, and we already had to have a tire fixed!

Taylor Construction contracts with a third party to distribute advertrash to yards in my neighborhood and are very rude when I attempt to complain. I've been trying to get the AJC Reach to cease delivery to my address for over 5 years. At best I'm able to get them to pause delivery for a couple of months before the cycle begins again. The only way to get the AJC to stop garbage marketing is to encourage advertisers to use other means of advertising. Taylor Construction flat refuses to consider alternatives such as Red Plum, Advo or another service that places ads in mailboxes. All of the trash up and down my block has the name Taylor Construction in big bold letters yet they deny any responsibility for placing it there. This review will remain in place until they reform their marketing efforts.

The experience was good. They did everything they said they would do. He listened to what I wanted done. The only problem was the cleanup.

On the coldest day of 2015 our gutters were installed. The windchill never got out of the single digits. Arrived at 8:30 and worked nonstop until 4:45. Did a great job and left no mess. Went above and beyond with a few tweaks to make the water runoff better. We even offered the day before to reschedule until it was a little warmer, but insisted on coming the day that was scheduled. Satisfied with the installation and the product. Price is a little high in my opinion and once you sign the contract you are not able to take advantage of any other discount offers. Salesperson stayed in our home from 5:30 until almost 8:30. We both work and had not had dinner and go to bed at 9:00. Should have set the appointment for a Saturday instead. Overall we are happy with the job.

Be very leary and make sure everthing is done according to what they were contracted to do before paying them a penny. Inspect everything as it goes along. Don't take for granted that what you're paying for is what you're getting.

My recommendation: DO NOT USE Taylor Construction for anything! BUYERS BEWARE: Tweeted & posted 1/23/2015 on their FB page: Waiting on a call from @Taylor_Const about another abject failure in service promises... AND speaking to the president (I'm told) of the company this morning on the phone - who is not willing to fulfill promises for a 2 attempt at an install, wanting me to re-schedule, yet again!

First I'd like to thank Taylor Construction for such a wonderful experience. Due to age and the gas build up in my windows, I could barely see out of them. The transformation of my windows has made my house absolutely gorgeous! The professionalism of this company is outstanding. I am a vet recently home from Afghanistan. I returned quite ill. I suffer from severe PTSD as well as other medical issues. So I was extremely nervous about doing anything to my home. Especially my windows. I asked so many questions. Changed my mind so many times. Just afraid. Thanks to Brett and his kind demeanor and assuring me that he would take care of me, I decided to take a chance. OMG! From the salesman Brett Copeland, Merle in the finance dept and Damien and his crew....this transition was seamless. I am so happy I chose Taylor Construction. They went above and beyond and for that I thank them sincerely. I absolutely love my windows! In my opinion I'd refer this Company to anyone who's looking for a Company that's professional, caring and takes pride in what they do! Again a sincere thanks! (Before &After photos). -VBDavis

Rep was very attentive to our needs, reviewed all project details made sure that all of our questions were answered. Installation crew did great work. They kept me informed of all progress and any issues. When I wanted a slight change in window wraps they made at once. Very pleased with the results

I have used Taylor twice. Shame on me. First I had the gutter guards installed. Next I got a window install done. I liked the windows. I got sliders instead of windows side by side. I asked how the sliders worked and the salesman turned his sample window on its side. So I expected them to be just that. Instead I have sliders that I have to get on a ladder outside to clean. They are made totally different. I have tried to call Joe Mazur (good luck with that) and I have written Joe. I have posted to the Taylor website expecting to be contacted. I have not heard from one person. My windows are not installed consistently. Some are caulked on top and some are not. I was told they could not caulk on top unless I signed a release because it gives the water somewhere to go. I have a 4' overhang so I do not think water is a problem. I purchased these windows since I am over 60 and do not need to be climbing ladders to clean windows. So now I have 4 sliders that require me to get on a ladder. Plus heaven help you when you try to put that screen back in. Will I use or recommend them - NO. Joe came out to visit with me but we reached no resolution. The sliders have to be cleaned by removing the panels from the frame. They are quite heavy for me and I worry that I might break it. He offered to credit me for these windows and replace them with the standard windows. That would costs me an additional $3000 and I am not ready to spend more.

GriffinDWR, I am sorry that we were not able to connect regarding your concern. Mr. Joe Mazur will reach out to you today and would like to visit you PERSONALLY to assist in this matter. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.......... UPDATE: Great speaking with you today. Joe looks forward to seeing you at 3:30 pm on Wednesday. UPDATE (7-17-2014): Dorothy, I'm glad your meeting with Joe went well; I understand he had an opportunity to show you how to clean the windows from the inside and glad that you are now a very satisfied customer. Thanks, again!
This company uses high pressure tactics just trying to get your signature on paper for a loan. Avoid these guys at all cost they are a joke. I am editing this to give the whole situation. The salesman, although very polite and informative is either trained or told to lie through his teeth. The price for 11 windows was almost $11k. That is way too high for one. From there I told him that I can only afford a few at the current time and that I would like to see if I can get a lower interest rate from the original 12% that he was pitching to me. It does not make sense to go above six on things like this. With this he assured me that we can try we just have to do a credit app. After the 2 hour high pressure sales pitch, he has my signature and is ready to go. I get a call the next day about 5 pm from a lady int he main office. She acts all excited for me and tells me that the manager told her to go as low as they can for a loan and that I can get one at 6.9%. I guess these guys failed basic math. That is above 6%. I reject the offer and tell her that I do not want the service or product at this time. From there her attitude changes completely and she informs me that I need to call the bank (Wells Fargo) and cancel the loan that they had already taken out for me. Typically, I try to be nice to customer service people because I am sure that their jobs can suck dealing with rude people...FOR THE REST OF THE REVIEW LOOK ON GOOGLE

Taylor Construction replaced 15 windows in my home and it was a great experience. The majority of the windows in my home were original from 1951. Not only is it nice to have new energy efficient windows that I can open easily, but the best part is that my power bill has decreased by 52%.
