We love our environment and are taking steps to help keep it healthy. We now use electronic medical records and e-prescribing prescription medication. We use rechargeable batteries and recycled materials whenever possible. Finally, we have a lobby dedicated to nature complete with lots of sunshine and a koi pond.
This entire situation is ridiculous. I understand that nothing is free. I didnt and dont ask for any hand me downs. I work in an ob/gyn facility and I was informed that treatment should not be denied... if im in a payment plan with haven ob/gyn. I was planning on paying "my full balance" earlier than expected around income tax time. Im a very dependable, sweet, and reliable patient but was treated like I was a criminal . And no...ur office was clear as to the ESTIMATED OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. it was not fair on me so I COULD MAKE THE DECISION to if I could afford the surgery or not. I called my insuarance co prior to surgery and verfied and im paying northside hospital and anesthesiolgy bill to but they told me prior to. I had 6 fibroid tumors removed this summer. If I knew then what I knw now..I would have left those fibroid tumors in place until I got the money together rather than owe a bill and be refused to see the doctor for a small minor visit. But its ok...I knw better ob/gyn offices who will see me and not discrimimate. Im still going to pay you my money according to my financially agreement monthly. I dont think nothing is free. I work very hard to pay all my bills. I just can't believe I was refused treatment. Thanks Monica: for denying a paying patient who has never been late in paying the bill, always paying my co-pays when visiting the doctot, and ALWAYS made it to my doctors visits on time there at haven ob/gyn. U just lost one of the best patients..VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I'm a completely new patient and I've never experienced a service like this from any OBGYN office. I'm considered to be high risk with my current pregnancy; so finding a capable doctor was top... priority. I read over 50 reviews and made an appointment right away. My appointment was around 11am & it was very quiet. The waiting area gave you a calm/peaceful feeling. I interacted with 5 office staff members and they all were personable. I saw Dr. Jewell & instantly knew he was the right doc for me. He answered all my questions and kept asking me if I had anymore. He was AMAZING!!! (So was his assistant). He even hugged me when I was leaving. My husband and daughter were with me & we all agree that WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! After reading all of these positive reviews, you would be a FOOL not to make an appointment asap. BEST PLACE EVER!!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Dr Moore is an amazing OB/GYN. I found Dr Moore while searching the internet for an OB/GYN for my first pregnancy. I lost my pregnancy at 4 months due to PROM April of last year. Dr Moore treated me like family. He was there every step of the way. I wasn't just another patient to him, he genuinely cared. Dr Moore you are absolutely amazing and we will see you soon with good news.
I would give Dr. Moore 10 stars if I could! When my husband and I decided it was time to try to have a baby, I went in search of a female nurse midwife, but I saw some great reviews for Dr. Moore so I went to see him for my annual exam and never looked back. He spent lots of time answering questions--as a type-A RN I had many and he never made me feel rushed. He was open to my ideas for a birth plan while also sharing his opinions. He also does his own ultrasounds including 4D which I think is great because he is very personal and it allowed my husband and I to get to know him better. I really liked the feel of the smaller office--I came to find out that Dr. Boulton and the NP are both also excellent. I never waited for more than 15 minutes for my appointment. Near the end of my pregnancy I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and I felt he took a conservative approach putting me on bed rest and monitoring instead of rushing into an induction, but did ultimately decide to induce when my blood pressure did become concerning. I had a challenging labor and eventual c-section (birth plans sometimes get tossed out:)) and I was so pleased that Dr. Moore always made me feel like I had a voice in the decision-making. He made me feel very reassured while going in for the c-section joking that "he did these in his sleep in medical school". If all that wasn't enough I got a beautiful baby boy at the end! I really can't say enough great things!
I was looking for an Ob/Gyn who is not only very knowledgeable but also caring and does not make me wait long for my appointments. I had been to two other highly recommended Ob/Gyn practices but chose Haven Ob/Gyn instead. I have been so impressed by Dr. Moore's excellent up-to-date medical knowledge and superb bedside manner. Dr. Moore truly cares about his patients. I saw Leah once and spoke with Dr. Jewell over the phone. They are both very nice and patient. I have been very happy with the service and highly recommend Dr. Moore and his practice.
Dr. Moore is so awesome. I saw home before I was pregnant for my yearly exams and couldn't have imagined going anywhere else fir my prenatal and delivery. Wonderful staff too!
I found this group last year on Kudzu when I was looking for a small OB practice. I met with Dr. Moore to get a feel for the practice and instantly liked him. When we became pregnant, he and the rest of the practice were great. I rarely had to wait for my appointments (annual appointment or OB related). It was easy to make appointments for the dates and times I needed. The front desk staff was always accommodating and helpful. I did not have any issues with billing or insurance, clearly the work of excellent support staff. The nurses were friendly and great at blood draws. I saw Dr. Moore, Leah and Dr. Jewell during my pregnancy. No one ever rushed me during my appointments and always answered my questions. They were prompt in returning calls to the nursing lines when I had questions. Dr. Jewell joined the practice toward the end of my pregnancy but it was very easy to develop a rapport with him. It is clear why Dr. Moore asked him to join the practice. Dr. Moore delivered my baby in August. I had some complications after the birth of our daughter but Dr. Moore and Dr. Jewell were there with me all the way. My husband and I both felt confident that I was in the best hands possible. Both Dr. Moore and Dr. Jewell followed up with me via phone even after I left the hospital to check in on both myself and our beautiful baby girl. I will miss seeing everyone on a regular basis. I cannot recommend this practice enough.
I have seen Dr.Moore for all my pregnancies (3) and I am so happy that I found him almost 5 years ago. He really cares, you are not just a chart to him.For the past few weeks I have been seen by Dr.Boulton and I cant say nothing but good things about her too. I have recommended other friends to Dr.Moore and they really liked his care, its very hard to find Dr.s who care about you. Too bad a few people have written a few bad reviews, apparently they don't know good care and great service when they have it.
I picked this practice because of Kudzu reviews, and am so happy I found Dr.Moore! He just delivered my baby girl. I love the practice, Dr.Moore is very easy going and easy to talk to. My prenatal care was great, you can always call the office after hours and someone calls you back and when you email he usually responds right away. Dr.Moore is very knowledgeable, he is young and up to date on all the literature, and he is really good at doing the ultrasound pictures. Iíve also met Dr.Boulton, and she is awesome also. I am going to switch to Dr.Moore for my gyno needs as well.
I have been a patient of Dr. Moore for almost 5 years, and I can't say enough good things about him and his practice. He took fantastic care of me during a high-risk, complicated pregnancy and is always extremely responsive, as well as a great listener. He is a personable and skilled physician, as well as a genuinely nice guy. No big ego or God complex with this doc. His staff is great, also - - very friendly and always seemed very concerned about my well-being, especially when I was having pregnancy issues. Through my job I deal with physicians on a daily basis and can say without hesitation that Dr. Moore is one of the best I have encountered in my career. I can't speak for Dr. Boulton, as I have never seen her as a patient, but I can't imagine that Dr. Moore would bring anyone on board who was anything less than stellar. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this practice to anyone - - Dr. Moore is truly a special physician, as is his practice.
I'm from Raleigh, NC and agreed to deliver in Georgia and found Dr. Moore on-line. I was super impressed from the get-go that he had delivered surrogate twins, has twins of his own AND he wrote me a personal e-mail saying he'd be happy to work with me/I mean really?! What doc does that? He made me feel super comfy so he is delivering twins for a deserving family for me in about 2 weeks. :-)
After going to three different gynecologists, my husband and I went to a fertility clinic to get pregnant. The clinic and a friend referred us to Dr. Moore/Boulton and we couldn't be happier! They treat us like family and are very thorough during each visit--explaining what they are doing, what they will do at the next appointment, and answering all questions that we might have at each appointment. I'll never forget Dr. Boulton being equally as excited for me during my first ultrasound. In my husband's own words, "I feel very comfortable and at peace knowing that they are our doctors during this significant time." I would recommend their practice to everyone!
My husband and I love Dr. Moore's bedside manner. I might be labeled a high risk pregnancy by most doctors and yet Dr. Moore is always clam, attentive, and always willing to answer your questions. He gives you options and explains treatments before he does them. And Yes we did find him on this site since we moved from NY to Atlanta and didn't have friends or family here. I HIGHLY recommend him! The best OB/GYN I've had, even though the others were all women.
I found Dr. Moore here on Kudzu. He was one of the first on the list when I was looking for an OB/GYN to see before I got pregnant. I didn't get in prior to my pregnancy, but when I did get pregnant, I googled "best high-risk pregnancy OB/GYN" his name came up again. It was a sign! : ) I drove an hour each way and saw both he and Dr. Boulton. I had never been to a male doctor for my girlie visits but felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Moore. He ended up delivering my daughter July 4, 2010! He let me make the decision to keep pushing and gave me options when I couldn't anymore. My daughter is the only child I'm having per my decision and I'm so glad I found Dr. Moore and Dr. Boulton. I couldn't have asked for better care!
He's a yahoo! Missed the fact that I was pregnant when I came in to see him. Just seems scatterbrained. Can't believe that any of these reviews are real. Seek someone else for your own good. Talk with your friends, don't trust online reviews.
When I first read this, I thought it was a positive review. As in ďYahoo!, I found a great doctor.Ē I was sad when I read the rest of it. Let me address the issues since I think this person has some valid complaints. First of all, it sounds like this personís main complaint is that we didnít diagnose her pregnancy at her visit. Per our policy, we donít routinely perform a pregnancy test on all our patients. We assume, for better or worse, that our patients know or at least suspect they are pregnant. Since pregnancy tests are cheap, over-the-counter, and easy to use, we hope you could diagnose pregnancy for yourself. By request or if there is suspicion, of course we will perform either a urine or blood test. Second, I am a bit scatterbrained. Some doctors give a diagnosis, suggest a treatment, hand you a prescription, and out the door. There are usually many treatment options for medical conditions and I like to discuss them. If you have several issues or conditions all with multiple treatment options, this discussion can be a bit scatterbrained. If you want a doctor to tell you what you should do, I am not for you. If you want someone to explain options and help you choose one, Iím your guy. Luckily, there are so many ob/gynís in Atlanta that it is possible to find one to fit your personality. Finally, I think word of mouth is the best way to find a doctor and this is how the majority of my patients find me. I was surprised by the number of patients who find my practice on the internet. It took me awhile to realize Atlanta is a growing town and many people donít have anyone they trust for a medical recommendation. Fortunately, there are these reviews for those people.
Dr. Moore delivered my son on 6-3-2008. I was a transplant that was into my 5th month. I had started seeing someone else but after a few visits realized I need to find a new doctor. I went to Dr. Moore based soley on his website and that at the time there was an email direct to him. I emailed him, explained my situation and through email felt very comfortable and promptly made an appt. Dr. Moore welcomed me with open arms. Since I was high risk, Dr. Moore worked side by side with the other doctor to manage my care. My son was born without incident. Healthy with no complications. I continue to go to the practice for my gyn needs.
I just wanted to write a review on here since I've had two terrific experiences with this practice. The first time I went to see Dr. Moore I had just relocated to the area at 7 months pregnant and hadn't been impressed with my options in my small city. I got a wonderful recommendation on kudzu and ended up driving 1 hour each way to see him. Very thorough and very satisfied. Loved him and the staff at Northside hospital for my delivery! When I became pregnant for the 2nd time, I knew it was worth the drive and I again had a great experience. This pregnancy I met Dr. Boulton and saw her for some of my pre-natal care visits and she was the one who delivered me (due to being on call). In my opinion, I feel as though Dr. Moore might be easier to talk to and maybe is more approachable but they are two different people with two very different personalities. Dr. Boulton is still great and my husband and I were very impressed with her during labor and delivery. I've had both my babies without any epidurals and we spent time before labor discussing my pain management options and both doctors were very accepting of my desires and did not push me into an epidural. Excellent prenatal care, good office staff and the most important thing, I've walked away with two very healthy babies! Thank you Dr. Moore & Dr. Boulton!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Moore. He was terrific throughout my pregnancy. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.
