We have a Volvo XC90 and have had a number of issues with it. Braxton Automotive, namely Jason, has been a trusted source of expertise on our path to wellness.
They're not the cheapest, but they fix your car the first time. Great choice if you have a German import or volvo.
This is now the only place that I will take my BMW. Steve Braxton and his team members are the best - always so professional, courteous, and helpful. At Braxton, you will get service with a smile. Steve and his crew take pride in their work and it is reflected in the quality and workmanship of each repair job. Steve Braxton and crew are the GREATEST!
We have been using Braxton for several years and we have never had a problem or complaint. No matter what the problem, they will continue to search until they can solve the problem. You could not ask for a better group of people to work with. Steve, Jean and the rest of the staff are the greatest!!!!
I took my Volvo into Braxton Automotive as a first time customer with a problem with my engine. They researched the problem and discovered that my problem was actually a recall at the dealer. I took the car to the dealer and the repair was done at no charge because it was a recall. Braxton Automotive did not charge me anything for looking at my car and for researching the problem at the dealer. They saved me about $1200.00. Thank-you Braxton Automotive. I highly recommend them to everyone, they really do care.
THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE! AFTER MIS-DIAGNOSING MY CAR 3 TIMES WHICH I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THEY THEMSELVES RECOMENDED THAT I TAKE THE CAR TO ANOTHER NEAR BY SHOP (BAVARIAN IMPORTS) WHO FIXED THE CAR RIGHT THE FIRST TIME FOR A FRACTION OF WHAT BRAXTON CHARGED. WILL NEVER GO BACK!
As owner and president of Braxton Automotive, I truly understand the trust our customers put in us. For over 9 years, we have worked very hard in building trusted relationships with our customers. While the concept of this forum is a great idea, it should have a vested interest in ensuring some minimum standard of basic reliability of the information contained in its postings. Currently, kudzu.com enables anyone (even a competing business) to post slanderous remarks without any verification that the remarks are true (or even that the posting party was really a customer of the business about which they are posting). It disheartens me that this forum is unlike the Better Business Bureau which, before posting, goes through a verification process to ensure the validity of a complaint. Our shop is a small family-run business – we want to know of unsatisfied customers and pride ourselves on the great lengths to which we will go to ensure our customers are satisfied with the services received from us. However, we have spent time reviewing our service records and are unable to find any customer whose situation mirrors that described in atlbimmers review. If indeed this person really is a customer of Braxton Automotive, we ask this person to contact us directly and we will work with them to resolve the issue.

I was given some very high prices from Nalley Volvo on my rotors which need to be replaced. Well, I called over to Braxton, as they are in my neighborhood, and they quoted me a price for factory parts about $150 below the dealer's estimate. Thanks to them, Nalley matched thier price. Jean Cochran provided very informed and polite assistance. As soon as my warranty expires, or if there is work to be performed out of warranty, I will be sure to bring them the business.
We own a '96 and an '86 Volvo and Braxton is the only place we'll take them. Steve has years of dealership experience and specializes in Volvos & BMWs. He did a wiring job on my '86 that was nothing short of heroic and didn't charge me a penny more than the estimate. He's honest and expert.
This shop does all of my scheduled car care and is as honest as they come in the world of automotive repair. Highly recommended!
