There were some recent heavy rains, which caused a leak in my ceiling. The leak was pretty bad and I called several roofers to see if someone could come out asap. Kerry at Cornerstone Roofing was... able to come out quickly, assess the damage and give me a quote before he left. Another roofer had also come out - his opinion of what needed to be repaired did not match up with Cornerstone's and his quote was much higher. Obviously price was a factor but I was more concerned about getting it repaired correctly. Even if the other quote was the same, I would have chosen Cornerstone because I just got a better feeling from Kerry and what he was telling me needed to be done. I felt like he was honest and straightforward, which is I think is more important and valuable. I am so glad that I chose Cornerstone. Since the work was done, we've had more rains but I have not had any more leaks! Thanks Kerry!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
PROS: they were on time, got it done, and left, quality job, no probs. CONS: the quote was $1500 off the insurance estimate but they dropped the price. Plus, they left a lot of nails in the... gutters and yard. Overall, a pretty good performance, but not perfect. I would use again. OTHER: Always get the "leftover" tiles in case you ever need to do a repair to be sure you get a perfect match.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Don't waste your time with them. We had a leak in our roof, called Cornerstone to come out and do an estimate. We let them know that we would like to get the roof fixed asap. The man said that he will come out the next day to take a look. Never showed up, around 4pm I called to inquire when someone was coming out, he nonchalantly said that he will instead come out the next day. I asked what time, he said by 11 am. I took off work to meet him there, he again was a no call, no show. They have no consideration for people's time. Went w/ another contractor.

Cornerstone re-roofed my house about 5 years ago and did a super job. Recently my house was hit by lightning and my roof was damaged. They came out last week promptly and repaired. Professional, dependable, quality, high character contractor. They are one of the good ones ...
Cornerstone Roofing is a pleasure to deal with. They are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I have always appreciated the good service and quality of work they have done at my home. They have always been on schedule and the employees are very professional and courteous. I will continue as needed in the future to use their services and to recommend them.
I had Cornerstone Roofing repair my roof and they did an excellent job. The workers were on time and very professional. Thanks, Cornerstone.
First they put on the wrong color shingle, then tried to get out of replacing it (even calling the homeowners association to verify that it was not approved!). Finally agreed to replace it and ended up with a two-toned roof. Owner didn't believe us and had to "check for himself" before agreeing to fix it again. We received an apology after first mishap but not after second.....until they wanted their $$. Having to have them out 3 times was a big inconvenience for my family, with kids and dogs these were not easy days. Roof seems to be well done and I would have been very happy if they had just stepped up and fixed it without trying to insult our intelligence!
I expected a roof replacement would be painful, noisy, and very messy. Cornerstone proved the experience could be positive despite the unavoidable. From choosing the roof style and product, to the final result, the company and its representatives exceeded our expectations. The crew was courteous, respectful, and hard-working. The job was finished earlier than expected, since the crew worked from dawn to dusk. Brad, our sales representative, was instantly available with any questions, and kept in contact with the crew during the installation. The icing on the cake was the wonderful Thank You card we received from Brad two days after the work was complete; we will definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or replacement. Thank you Cornerstone!
Their estimate was less than the others. They recommended something no one else did on one section of our roof and we checked it out and turns out it was exactly what we needed. They were prompt, and I think my porches were cleaner when they left than when they started! They worked hard and I just can't say enough good things about them!
I've had my new roof for about 6 months now and am happy to report that we have not had a single problem with it. Cornerstone's team did an outstanding job installing the roof and cleaned up their work area every day. Including using some sort of magnet to pick up any rogue nails that may have fallen onto the lawn or driveway. Pricing I thought was fair and fell in the mid-range of the estimates that we received. I highly recommend Cornerstone if you are in the market for roofing work. I plan on using Cornerstone when we will be replacing our gutters in another year or two.
I have had a sunroom leak problem for several years dating back to my prior roof. Owner Kerry Rogan assessed my roof leak and promised that he and his crew could solve it once and for all if I would let them replace my entire roof (which I did to the tune of ~$10,000). Once it was replaced I continued to have problems with the sunroom. He had his crews came out several times and eventually blamed it on faulty skylights which he finally replaced. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem and now my sheetrock is falling from the ceiling in my sunroom and my piano in that room is ruined. I called to tell him about the ongoing problem and he now claims the warranty has run out and I am on my own. So the same company that promised to fix my problem at the beginning never fixed it and then hid behind their limited warranty to duck out of it. Moral to the story: don't believe the promises made by supposedly well-meaning individuals - they are simply promises made to try and sell you to get their new job to put money in their pockets. You now know what to expect from Cornerstone - is this really the kind of company you want to do business with??? Had to hire Dr. Roof to fix what Cornerstone got wrong the first time and never fixed - Dr. Roof fixed it! Per Cornerstone's reply there is water coming in at a joint 3 feet ABOVE the skylights - that's not a skylight problem. This room was never right so how can they say warranty was "upheld"??

Customers warranty was in fact upheld. The manufacturer field tested the skylights and determined they were defected. The cause of the leak was a defect of the skylight not the roof. The customer refuses to acknowledge this.
After the storms that came through this spring, we needed some roof repairs. We signed a contract with cornerstone, and then started getting excuses as to why they weren't there to do the work. After several weeks we spoke to a supervisor who ensured us that it would be taken care of. Several more weeks went by (with us calling once a week to check up) and they stopped returning our calls all together. Finally after two and a half months went by, we had to send a certified letter to the owner and company to break the contract so there would be no penalties. This is the worst company I've ever had the dis-pleasure to work with.
Cornerstone Construction got the job done on time and on budget. The value of my bathroom remodeling project was well worth the money. I then decided to get Richard to remodel another bathroom. Great work! Thanks again. Michael Exner

This company replaced my roof which is very cut-up, built a large front porch with a large landing and two set of steps; one set on each side, painted my house and overhauled my landscaping. They were always prompt and professional. I am very pleased with everything they done and I highly recommend them if your looking for a company who excels at their work and stands behind it.

I contracted Mr. Crawford to build my house because of the great reviews I received from his list of references and I was not dissappointed. He was slightly higher than the other bids I got but great references went a long ways. He was on the job everyday overseeing the construction and the engineer who did the inspection said that he had done a top notch job. I have referred him several times and those who have used him were very happay as well. Even with bad weather our home was completed in the timeframe he quoted in his contract. I would not hesitate to use his services for any job in the future. Thanks Mr. Crawford for a job well done.
