I had a poor experience with the business recently once my AC went out. I was desperate for it to work on an 80 degree inside day. I called 6 places which were booked a week out. I was happy this... place was available. A HVAC guy came out and he thought we should purchase a capacitor for $250. He explains it may be a 300$ to $400 blower motor that we need but he didn't want us to buy it in vain for the capacitor may do the job. We even bought the 14$ a month maintenance plan for 1 year. He left and our AC stopped working 2 hrs later. We immediately called at 7:30 and they said someone would come. At 9:30 another guy comes out and says we need a blower motor which is $442. We refused to pay that and he says he's gonna make a call. He comes back and says he can take the previously spent 250$ from the total and we pay $345. I asked how does that add up?!? He stays until 11:30 pm and still couldn't fix it due to lack of correct parts. We went without for 2 days and Mon the co-owner was who I am able to complain too. He gave me excuses as to why their parts cost more due to the fact they have to pay their workers 25$ an hour and overhead fees. He also says my quote was only off by 100$....I guess that's not a big deal. He didn't compensate anything but 14$ back on my now canceled maintenence plan...VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Found Peavey A/C online along with many other 4/5 star contractors. Called them to service the two older systems in my townhome. The experience was superb - Joe arrived promptly as promised. Was particularly thorough in checking out and servicing both units - did multiple tests, cleaned and explained his work in a way far beyond anything I'd experienced from previous vendors. He was attentive to details, courteous, pleasant both in his service and explanations about potential options going forward for these older units. Truly pleasurable, educational experience. Chris(the labor guy) and his team did an outstanding job; we have the new A/C to show for it! My home air conditioning went out recently and I was referred to Peavey Heating & Air. I was extremely pleased with the way they conduct business. They made me feel like a client in a corporate environment, especially when the "comfort consultant" came to my house for a consultation. He was available after I got off work which was great since I didn't have to take a vacation day. He outlined all available options and they were out to install the system a couple days later. The phone operator checked in on me daily to provide updates and field any questions I had. The CFO of the company personally came out to diagnose my issue and to also conduct a "quality control audit" after the new system was put in. The installation crew was at my house at 8:00AM sharp and they finished the entire system installation (A/C and furnace) by a little after 5:00! The lead crewman was actually a little irked that they weren't done before 5:00, and I thought it was going to take at least 2 days! I was extremely surprised and satisfied with Peavey. This a very professional company and please believe me that this is the company that you want to call if your Heating or A/C goes out! They will make you feel like a king or queen, and you will NOT be disappointed with the results.

Thanks mercibien. We perform a Manual J Load Calculation to verify what system is the best for you and your family. A contractor should never size your system based of square footage or the previous size. Good thing we don't because most (especially heating) systems are oversized. The Peavey team that installed our new heat pump were supremely coordinated. They did their own professional work when installing the air handler (attic) and heat pump (outside) knowing when to help each other, always diligent to their own division of the work to be done. There were two follow-up evaluations by other Peavey experts a week apart, each thoroughly done. We are extremely pleased with the results. Thank you Peavey! Called them for service I thought would be beyond what my contract with them included. Brandon looked the situation over, cleaned some dust I had allowed to accumulate and the problem went away. They performed my ac inspection due under my contract and charged me nothing. I love being treated fairly.

I have had a Maintenance Plan with Peavey for 2 yrs. When we got to the point where the equipment needed replacing, Peavey's response was immediate. The process was very smooth, fast, and efficient. The installation was expedient and they took care of all the old equipment and trash. Would highly recommend Peavey to anyone looking for professional service and great value!

The guys at Peavey are first rate. They came to check my furnace and found it was a safety hazzard and showed me the problem. After learning the condition of both furnaces and air conditioning units I replaced both. I loved being informed every step of the way and receiving reminder calls about appointments. Everyone was informed and very pleasant and treated my home with respect. I would recommend Peavey A/C and Heating to everyone. Excellent service and quality at a good value!

had Peavey out for a routine inspection and service - they did a fab job. Found some things that were in need of repair and gave me a fair estimate and repaired everything on the spot. Hugh and Chris were both extremely pleasant and knowledgable men to work with on this, including taking shots of our system which is located in a creepy crawl space that I would never go into! Was able to see what needed work and they showed me the repairs made afterwards too. Would recommend them to anyone needing any level of service.

I have a problem with the way my heating system was installed when the house was built that is now causing me some problems. Peavey came out and gave me an honest assessment on what needed to be done to fix the problem. There was no pressure from Peavey to do the work today. Some companies will say something like “I can take 10% off if you do it today.”

We walked into the door and realized immediately that something was wrong with the AC. I left a message at 7 p.m., received a callback by 7:15 p.m., and had David at the house to resolve the problem at 8 p.m. He was quick, professional, efficient, and eager to address our short as well as long term needs. On top of that, the costs were less than another service provider we had considered a year ago. Overall, I highly recommend Peavey.
