Allan Waite, their Sr Technical Advisor inspected the basement area where we have had a tiny crack with minor efflorescence for many years. We had already received a $6,200 quote from a competitor.... Allan mentioned a similar solution but called it overkill. He suggested we hire a handy man to scrape off the crack and use DryLock. We very much appreciated his honest opinion!!! Gaby A.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We recently got a quote for work to be done to a property we're interested in purchasing. Ron went above and beyond in the process. He was very honest and went into detail about the amount of work... and didn't try to sell anything we didn't need. Thanks Ron and ESOG. We'll definitely be using you all to do the work if we purchase the home. If you go this far out of your way for prospective customers... I can only imagine the quality of the product you'll deliver!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I had an engineer come out from Engineered Solutions to look at my crawl space. He gave me a verbal estimate but never followed up with a written estimate. I contacted him a few days later and he didn't respond. I later found he broke the access panel to the area under my deck. He didn't tell me. I only discovered it after my dog got under the deck. Update: I hired an independent structural engineer to come do a report. The area ESOG wanted to fix was deemed structurally sound by the structural engineer. The area ESOG dismissed as not an issue was identified by the structural engineer as an issue needing repair. I appreciate the follow up from ESOG hopefully they can do better in the future.
It is very disappointing to read a review like this and it is unacceptable. It is however to a certain degree understandable. Atlanta has had record rain fall this year and that has left the management team at Engineered Solutions with a very difficult decision. Should we staff up with new untrained team members to fill the demand and take a chance on a decrease in the quality that we demand? Or should we ask our customers to be patient and run the risk of some people slipping through the cracks. We have chosen the latter. it is unexcitable not to provide the very high level of customer service our customers deserve and I appreciate satelite bringing this uncommon lapse in customer service to our attention so that we can make internal adjustments to insure it does not happen in the future. One of the most valuable features of Kudzu.com is it allows us to understand our weakness’ and adjust to make our company better.
On the issue of any damaged property. If we damaged the access panel to satelite’s deck we will either repair it or engage a contractor of his or her choice to repair it. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing which of our customers provided this review. My hope is that satelite will contact me directly so that we can expedite the repair of the access panel. We apologize that we feel short of our customer service standards and are committed to using this feed back as an opportunity to better our company.

We had problems with leaks in our basement for years. Called the "big" company out there (hint, it starts with a "T") and they quoted us over $10K that would have ripped out the drywall in our entire basement. Engineered Solutions came in, pinpointed a specific crack in our foundation, fixed that specific area, and re-did the drywall for 1/10th of the quote front other company. It's been two years and many rainstorms and not a drop of water has leaked into my basement. Highly recommend.
Interaction with ESOG from initial contact to meeting with Todd Hall was seamless and professional. I met with Mr. Hall, ESOG Foundation Assessment/Repair Specialist, on Friday, 3 Oct to gain insight into what appeared to be foundation cracks in the brick veneer. Todd conducted a very thorough assessment of the interior and exterior of the house including the crawl space to determine the origin of the cracks. Mr. Hall informed me that the foundation of the house was solid and did not need helical piers. Mr. Hall then advised me of some simple, budget-friendly steps to take to remedy standing water in backyard. I am so grateful that he is a man of great integrity. I realize that I could have ended up paying thousands of $$ with another contractor. I cannot give him enough accolades. He is top notch. If, in the future, I require extensive work, I will not hesitate to contact him. Mr. Todd, specifically, and ESOG overall are worthy of emulation.

The home in question was on the market and these inspections and estimates were prior to making an offer to purchase. The other three companies were offering the minimum explanations, the feeling I had was, you are not the owner, call us again when you are. Hard to make a buying decision on minimum information and scenarios of possible future problems. Jay worked with myself. the realtor and seller with many solutions and financing options. In the end I purchased the home and had ESOG do the work. Very satisfied all around with ESOG.
Ron Braddock from Engineered Solutions came to my home to assist with concerns regarding water in the basement. He took time to explain exactly what the cause of the problem is and the solution. He is professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Ron!

With there being a mixup in the beginning, Engineered Solutions of Georgia corrected it and was still able to get someone out at the time they told us they would.

With a house being a significant life investment, it is quite concerning when there are any major issues. A few years ago my parents house had foundation issues. Engineered Solutions of Georgia worked on the house, and the results and quality were great. When my house needed foundation repair, I remembered this. During the initial consultation all concerns and all technical/mechanical aspects were discussed. I had the utmost confidence in this company. The main office reminding and confirming of scheduled dates was always reassuring and showed great care. When I first met the work team, I was impressed with their professionalism. When I saw the instillation and lifting in progress, the work teams skill and knowledge was evident. I was impressed with the people and the quality of work. I know that I made the right choice going with Engineered Solutions of Georgia.
I had a leak in my basement but couldn't find a source of the water. I called engineered solutions to help. Alan came and thoroughly evaluated the basement and area outside of the house. He suspected a dripping faucet outside or a problem with the water main and recommended a plumber to evaluate things first. If plumbing sources were ruled out, then he said he would come back to discuss waterproofing solutions. The plumber discovered a cracked water main behind the sheetrock as the water line entered the basement foundation wall, which was spraying water on the foundation wall and running down to the floor, underneath the baseboard, soaking the carpet. Alan could have just offered pricey basement waterproofing options, but instead found the cause of the problem. A few days earlier, Trotter Waterproofing came out to evaluate the same problem and assumed the water was coming from poor drainage or ground water. Their only offer was a $20,000 external waterproofing or a $5-6000 internal sump pump/drainage system without even searching for a source of the water. I appreciate Engineered Solutions honesty. I will use them again without reservation and would recommend them without hesitation!

We had sagging floors due to a leak made by the previous owner. Engineering Solutions was our second quote. Their price was just as fair as the previous one but, Alan's assessment of the problem, solutions and diagram of the house seemed so much more comprehensive than the other quote. The four members of the team did a great job accomplishing the work in their allotted time and avoided the usual clutter of debris in our crawl space that is so common when you have work on the home. Very positive experience from first contact all the way through to completion.
ESOG encapsulated my crawl space and installed a much needed dehumidifier. All the contractors that have entered the space to complete other types of work have commented on what a great job ESOG did. Every single person in the company is extremely professional and hard working. I recommend them very highly!

I met with Todd Hall for an estimate one Friday late afternoon. I had talked to two other companies. Todd was most informative, kind, and most patient with my limited acknowledge. Then as the project progressed, I found this whole company operates on these principles. This company is the very best!!!! They all go way beyond "the call of duty"!!! I was lucky to find them!
