What we are most famous for.. is seamless entry installation to existing lawns. The technique we use is known as "vibratory" pull and sod cutting. With our state-of-the-art equipment and technology, the installation of the sprinkler lines are pulled under the ground with the vibratory puller. This technique leaves the turf intact, which results in minimal damage to existing lawns. In the event boring if required, we cut out your existing sod, which is positioned off to the side to be reinstalled after the boring is completed. With the least amount of damage to the disturbed lawn turf, the recovery is within weeks not months.

These guys are the best. True pros. Install was very clean and was barely noticed in the yard (no sod damage). They have also come out a few times for repairs (at no charge)! Would highly recommend.

Reasonable price, great work, answered all my questions and was very knowledgable about the job. I had a couple companies give estimates and I asked questions and Joe from rainfall by far knew the most and was also the quickest to respond to any questions. He was very pleasant to speak with and seems like a nice guy. Additionally, they ran into some trouble with our lawn as we have a lot of buried gutters but they still go the work done on time and did not charge any extra. Joe and his team easily provided the best service we have ever gotten from a company on home improvement.
I was really impressed with all of the great reviews that Rainfall had received from previous customers. When I called to make an appointment for some maintenance on an existing system as well as add a new zone, I was told I was really located outside their service area, but that they would still be willing to take a look at the project. Luckily for me they decided they were willing to travel the additional miles. That was just the beginning of the great service I received from Rainfall Irrigation. They were always very prompt, arriving on time. They were very professional in their approach. The service tech ran into an unexpected problem, but was able to come up with a solution. Well worth the price.

Used Rainfall now twice and each time they have provided excellent service in a timely manner with a fair price for the work completed. I would recommend their services (sprinklers, I haven't done any work with lighting) and will call them again if I need any other services performed. Billing and payment services are available on line which made things easy for me since I work and spend a great amount of time out of the country.
We have used this company twice for repair work. In both cases, the service was fast and completed reliably. They do not want payment at the time of the repair, but e-mail a bill a few days later. In both cases, we were taken back by the final price of the bill in comparison to the rough estimate quoted over the phone. This last time, the parts probably could have been purchased retail for less than $10, but the invoice showed $55 for parts. Bottom line... try to get a firm quote (good luck) or expect to pay more than what you've been told over the phone. Yes... e-mailed invoices are convenient, but also a convenient tactic of not having to face the customer with an exorbitant overcharge on parts.

We hear and understand your frustration in the experience that you have had with us. By you being a repeat customer this is the first indication that you were not pleased with our process and billing.
Every call goes through our central office so that our service techs have a full understanding of the customer needs. During that initial call, it is explained to each customer, our labor cost, the process in which we do billing and the service tech that will service their system. As for giving a quote on the repair/s, yes you are correct, we do not provide a quote on the repair due to our lack of knowledge pertaining to the facts involve for the repair. We have given estimates in what it may cost, but that within itself is NOT the final cost of the repair. As in your service repair calls, we did our best to set your expectations of our process and the labor cost plus parts which are commercial grade.
You stated that the parts we used could have been purchased at a retail store for less than $10. As a consumer and a do-it- yourselfer, the chances of you finding what you are looking for at a much cheaper price are great. However, you do get what you pay for. As I mention above, our product are commercial grade, guaranteed and warranted. There is no comparison to what you can purchase at your local retail store.
After you made your dissatisfaction known to us through email and explaining to us, in that email, how you had been unemployed for over eighteen months and your wife was only working three days a week after losing her job, we understood your frustration and dilemma. Within minutes, we discounted your overall invoice by $25 and ask you to only pay the revised invoice amount. Even with us reaching out to help you by reducing your invoice, you still felt the need to direct your frustration at us.

Contacted Joe via email off his website and got a call within hours, not days. He had Bill to contact me within minutes to set up a time to come to home. Bill and Paul came the next day to reposition a sprinkler head to the other side of the fence, adjusted a few other heads, and capped off another head that was spraying into my kid's play ground area which all took less than 30 minutes. Fourth time is a charm. A zone was not working. I had three (3) businesses, including the one who installed the system, told me I needed to replace lines, heads, valves, etc., at great expense. Rainfall Irrigation checked the system, closed a couple of heads, and discovered a leak. They took what could have been an expensive and messy job and fixed the problem within a couple of hours, including installing a couple of new head locations. I haven't been this happy with a business in a long time. Happy enough to ask for a re-do estimate for my landscape lighting.
We worked with Pike's Landscaping and took their recommendation and glad we did. They did a very professional job. Follow-up was excellent as changes to plant location took place after the system had been installed. Joe even came out on a Saturday to finish the job himself and told me how to make changes to the system, add on to it and even winterize it. Rainfall Irrigation was by far the best company I had make an estimate on my sprinkler system. Not only did they have the lowest quote but there were many other factors that led me to hire them for the job. First of all they DO NOT TRENCH which was a big thing for me. The ability to pay by credit card online was a big plus too. Joe, the owner, was very prompt in returning all of my calls and even came out to my house after the job was complete to go over any questions I had about the system. I was most impressed to know that he worked on every installation which you just don't see anymore. Most of the time the owner will give you an estimate and then people with far less experience end up doing the job with no quality oversight. Even the company website is maintained by Joe. I will be referring anybody that needs a sprinkler system in the future to Rainfall Irrigation. A+++
