Quad-mini split heat/AC system... We have a 1950’s house, with an old Heat/AC system that kept the house cold in the winter, and warm in the summer. This new technology controls the temp in each room precisely, saving money. We have a house up in Boston, with the same system, that works just as well. Installation of 4 internal units, one outdoor unit, and a new circuit took 2 days, at exactly the price quoted. This job by experienced professionals. They were confident in each step of the high tech job. It is wonderful to heat/AC only the bedroom at night, instead of a whole house…and the filtered air is cleaner than 60-year-old air ducts from under the house. System heats or cools whole areas of the house in less than 10 minutes, very quietly. It works exactly as expected. We are glad not to worry about putting good money after bad, to repair an old out-of-date heat system under the house, with poor filters, and dirty ducts, or replacing a massive loud clangy AC unit on the side of the house… and still pay for annual repair fees. Now the house will be cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and costs so much less. Universal Heating & Cooling has been a First class business to work with, and we are grateful for their fast, professional, competent work.

First off i met a rep at home depot he didnt explain that home depot doesnt do their own work, secondly the guy was late to the appointment, 3rd he didnt have any home depot clothes badge or anything. Next out of 3 estimates they were the most expensive. i went with them because of home depot they start the work then tell me they need to go into my drywall to finish the job and the drywall guy would be back the next week to clean up. my bathroom was trashed for a week. they were in no rush to fix what they broke but they were in a huge rush to take my money. im positive something will go wrong with the system so i have held on to every piece of paper so home depot can fix it.

Just used them for the first time on a Saturday night after hours service call . First of all they came when they said, even called to confirm they were "on the way" and gave me an ETA. That kind of communication and respect for our time is important to me. Tommy S. was the tech and I found him to be one of the most courteous and thorough HVAC pro's I have met. He patiently explained my options, provided some advice, got my system in operating order and was very pleasant to work with. If this is the kind of folks UNIVERSAL has on their team we will most definitively give them a call again...
I recently purchased a new system from universal and I am very pleased with the results i got. The sales part was ok they scheduled me fast so that I was not sitting in the heat long at all and the installation team of Thomas and Jeff were wonderful to say the least. They were very proffesional and had my new system in and working great in no time, very impressed with them two and would recommend asking for them if you go with Universal.
From the Sale (Michelle) through execution (Alex), UH&C is a great organization. They really worked with me to get the exact services I needed and Alex is a fantastic "front-line" resource. I'm very happy with the service , installation and sales dept for universal heat and air. Over the past 5 years we have dad 2 furnaces and air conditioners installed and have been extremely happy with the way they run their business. Everyone was very professional and the installers were very efficient with their work Thanks for a job well done especially in this age where it seems like our society has lost its character and integrity. Universal still retains the principals our country was founded on.
I had a service check on 6/10/11 and I liked that they called and told me the service person was on the way. I had Stan Bailey and was very pleased with his professional attitude. I will use their service again and only want Stan to come back! Ms. Harvey
Made two appointments for a check up and both times waited hours--3-5 hours! Then dispatcher did not call to my cell to verify apppointment and did not send technician--even after I called myself to confirm they were coming. Dispatcher wanted to reschedule a third appointment , but after waiting 3 hours the first time and 5 hours the second time, I was not about to waste more time by waiting for a third appointment. No doubt they would have been four hours late for again. Not going to recommend this terrible service to anyone.
