They answered all my questions, and did an... outstanding job with the installation. Their price was reasonable, and the best value for the price. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this company. The customer service has left me with a very sour taste and incredibly upset. The company lost my check and the owner was to come over in person... to discuss and failed to keep his word. The young women in the office was not only disrespectful but lacking in any customer service skills. An overall bad bad experience. Hired Milton to replace our 20 year old upstairs HVAC system. Kyle not only gave me a fair analysis, but also gave me tips on how to increase our air efficiency by angling vents differently. Our new system is great, and the service was great as well. Will use them again next year for our downstairs system.

I was referred to Milton Heating and Air when I rented a commercial space, and they had previously been used by my landlord. I have had nothing but amazing service from them, especially Dustin Caves! They have always been courteous, have always been very timely in coming out and taking care of things as they have come up! I give them my highest recommendation!!!
Watch out how much they charge you for parts: they charged us $152 for single capacitor which normally sells for $30 worst case. When I asked why the manager said "we take the prices from a catalog" . !??? I am pretty sure they buy this capacitors wholesale for $15-20 and then rip us off.
We have been Milton customers for a few years now. Cursed with builder grade hvac equipment (that we aren't quite ready to place), it seems like we end up giving them a call for a problem every other year. We also have regular maintenance contract with them. We've had the same tech come to our home a few times over the past couple of years - that's a rarity these days! The office staff is always so kind and helpful. Even when calling in distress without air conditioning, I was able to have a much needed laugh with their dispatcher Karie the other day. We really appreciate the fair prices and prompt service we have always received. I would highly recommend their services.
With the terrible heat i had to get our A/C running again. Milton HVAC was recommended from a friend and i'm glad i took the recommendation! Dustin came out for a service call, and he was very professional and took the time to explain the problems, and what he was doing to fix them. I was so impressed i called to have someone come out for an estimate on a unit for my basement that i'm finishing. Kyle was able to come out the same day for an estimate. Quick service and Patience made the financing process easy and was a pleasure to deal with. Overall a great experience with this company.
The owner seems to be a great guy on the surface, but the service was beyond low grade. Missed appointments and when a technician did show he was disrespectful and uninterested at best! You try and give your business to local companies instead of going to the "big names" but sometimes they are the big names for a reason folks!
I will NEVER use this company again, very unprofessional and does not keep apppointments or word. The terchnition was very rude and not very knowleagable about HVAC or customer service. The worst company I have dealt with in a very long time.
The owner of this company really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with his plan for the work that needed to be done.
Joel from Milton Heating and Air visited my home to complete seasonal maintenance. He showed up right on time and even supplied a courtesy call 30-minutes before arriving. His inspection was detailed and efficient. Joel replaced my air filters and provided a well explained recommendation on the style and regularity of future replacement for the coming months. During the inspection of my AC units Joel took the time to describe what we was checking and why. This level of customer service is appreciated and made his recommendations easier to accept and understand. Joel was courteous and took the time to answer my many questions. After more than one bad experience with a HVAC company ("You don't pay for Freon") I have searched via Kudzu, Google, etc for another HVAC provider. A trusted friend recommended Milton. After reviewing Kudzu, etc, and talking with their GM, I decided to hire Milton for a furnace tune up, and get another opinion on my situation. Not only did the Milton tech not try to "sell" me, he took his time to explain what he did and why. Come to find out, my furnace is, and was, all along, fine. I am now a solid customer of Milton, and will recommend them without reservation or hesitance.
My heating system only seems to break down on the weekends. This time it was a holiday weekend. MHAC showed up when promised - They quickly found the problem and then found the hard to find part (at a fair price) installed it and we were back in buisness and ready for company in hours. Nice job.
I tunned three furnace at my home. Generally they replace filter for free but I had speacil filters. so they told me they will order for me at $75/ea and replace it later. I told them I will buy filter myself and they can replace them. I found OEM filter for $17/ea. They changed tone saying if I buy filter then I have to pay additional service fee of $130 to replace filter. Total greedy staff. I will avoid them in future.
