I felt well cared for. The doctor and staff were very nice. The bottom line is that by the time I walked out to the front desk after treatment, I felt like a new woman. I give them an A+
I threw my back out when I bent over to wash the tire on my car. My back went out and I was in severe pain. My wife took me to her chiropractor Dr Dan Batchelor. Within 30 minutes I was out of pain... and the next day I was out on the golf course with my buddies. Definitely the best doctor in Atlanta. PS The correct phone number is 770-992-2002.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I felt very comfortable with the doctor. He listened well and spoke intelligently. After 3 treatments, the chronic pain that I had been suffering from on the right side of my lower back was gone. I was impressed and I don't impress easily. Dr Batchelor used physical therapy, decompression and chiropractic adjustments. I'm very happy with the care I received and I feel confident that because he was able to help me, he can help you too.
I injured my back while moving a couch from one room to another. I called my tennis instructor and told him i would not be able to have a lesson the coming weekend. He referred me to Dr. Batchelor, a chiropractor in Roswell. He checked me out and adjusted my back and within a few minutes, my pain was gone. It did not have to miss my tennis lessons since my pain was completely gone. Now its been 2 weeks since I was treated and I still feel the best that I've felt in years. I recommend Dr. Batchelor if you need a down to earth chiropractor that can get the job done. His fees were very reasonable and he was very effective. What more do you want?
I had no idea that I would be getting the best massage of my life. Now each and every week at the Batchelor Clinic without fail, I get a massage. It has make my life less stressful and more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
As a high school football coach for over 15 years, I have needed Dr. Dans help whenever I over did it and abused myself and threw either my back, shoulder, knee or rib out of position. He has always been able to get me back in line with one or two visits. When my players get injured, he is the primary doctor that we use. 99% of the time, he handles the injury non-surgically. I have seen him perform some miracles when some of my boys have gotten injured. I have known Dr. Dan for almost 20 years. I met him when he spoke at the Roswell recreation center the night before the Roswell Road Race(which he won). I don't believe there is a doctor that can compare to Dr. Dan when it comes to effectiveness and knowledge regarding correction of back pain and other related injures. He's number one in my book.
As a golfer/tennis player and a waiter for many years, I have developed many one sided muscle imbalances. Eventually those imbalances caught up with me and caused very severe back and neck pain. I tried just about everything to remedy the problem. Physical therapy, massage, neurologist, 2 orthopedists, 3 chiropractors. Nothing helped. I gave up hope but one of my co-workers convinced me to seek the help of Dr. Batchelor, a chiropractor in Roswell that treats many professional athletes. Dr. Batchelor checked me out and explained what he found. Next he used physical therapy, manipulation, acupuncture, traction, and some other things but I am not sure what they were. In less than a week, I was out of pain. I was shocked to say the least since I had been suffering with the pain for over 5 years and had been to 8 other health professionals for the same pain and had no relief. I fired them all. Now after 1 week with Dr Batchelor, all of my pain is gone.
I injured my lower back at work 14 years ago and ever since then it has never been the same. I had went to several orthopedic surgeons but I was told I needed disc surgery. I opted out since there is no guarantee with surgery. One of my friends had back surgery and he was worse aftewards and now is completely disabled. I normally have a very high pain threshold and can take just about anything but recently the pain in my back and legs had become very intense and I knew that I did not do something I was going to suffer a great deal in the future. When the pain would get severe in the past, I would take some hardcore pain killers but now they were having little effect on my level of pain. I was to the point where I was willing to do just anything except surgery. My wife had recently went to Dr. Batchelor for her neck and he helped her tremendously so I decided to make an appointment at his clinic. The staff was very nice and so was Dr. Batchelor. Dr. Batchelor examined me and arrived at a diagnosis. He treated me with some physical therapy and traction and then he used chiropractic to adjust the last bone in my lower back. About 20 minutes into my treatment, the doctor said "Ok lets give it a try. Stand up and move around". For the past several years I have had to use my arms to help myself get up from lying down because of the pain but as I got up off the table I did not have to use my arms to get up. As I stood up, the pain was gone. I was impressed!!
My sis told me about Dr. Batchelor. She had been treated by him for her lower back pain and he was able to fix her in a couple visits. She had been after me for a long time to call his office because she knows my back has been hurting for a long time. She gets tired of always watching me moving and stretching trying and loosen it up. It helps for about a minute but then tightens up again. I am always asking her to dig into the tight areas with her fist. I went to a chiropractor 7 months ago near my college but they did not help me so I lost hope. I am a college student and when I study, the pain and tightness really cramps my style and its hard to concentrate. I finally called Dr. Batchelor's clinic and made an appointment. He could spot some problem areas just by looking at me and by checking me while I was lying on the table. My right hip was high and my right shoulder was low. He could tell even without asking me that I had pain between my shoulders on the right side. He said it felt like a tight rope. That was exactly how it felt. After his examination of my back he treated me and then showed me what I need to do at home regarding exercise and things I need to avoid. He treated me and I could feel immediate relief as if my body had been waiting for that relief for a long time. I felt like I was 3" taller after the treatment as if the pressure had been taken off of my back. Thanks to the good doc I feel like a new person. He is better than the best of the best.
I hurt my back working in the yard last week planting some azaleas. The pain was intense and went from my back into my right leg. I have passed Dr. Batchelor's office a thousand times on the way to work and back and always wanted to give it a try. This was the time. During the exam, he found the L5 bone pinching on my right sciatic nerve. Dr. Batchelor used some physical therapy and then chiropractic on my back and then adjusted the last bone in my lower back into proper position because it was pinching on the nerve into my right leg. After the treatment, he asked me to try it out. The pain was gone and I was very impressed. I was very happily surprised how easily he was able to eliminate my pain. Very efficient and all I had to pay was my $10 copay. I am very pleased and will refer others.
Before I knew about Dr. Batchelor, I went to someone else down the road and was not helped so I asked around and was referred by my next door neighbor to Dr. Batchelor. He was exactly what I was looking for. Top athlete, top doctor, very knowledgeable, open at 6am in the morning before my work, great front desk person, they dont hassle me to come in all the time like my previous doctor, very efficient and very skilled. What more can I ask? My insurance even covers everything except 10 bucks. The best I have felt in years. He's #1 in my opinion.
I lived in Roswell 16 years ago and used Dr. Batchelor back then. He helped me when my back went out. I moved to Rome, Georgia and tried someone locally but they just couldn't get it done so I went back to what I know works and thats Dr. Batchelor in Roswell. This time my neck was extremely painful and for the past 6 weeks the pain was beginning to radiate into my arm and fingers. I had a hard time at work and home and could not sleep at night because of the burning pain. The doc spent about 30-40 minutes with me diagnosing and then treating me. At the end of the treatment, my neck was freed up again and the radiating pain was no longer in my arm. He showed me on the film where the lower bones in my neck were pinching on the nerves that went into my arm. I am fortunate to have found a doc that knows his stuff. If I need him again, I will be back to Roswell but so far the pain has not returned. I appreciate the doc for helping me. Normally I don't write reviews but this was well deserved.
After sufferring from sciatica for over 7 months, doc b is the only doc that helped me. I highly recommend him.
I am a weight lifter and body builder so I know when my body is not functioning correctly and needs a tune up or adjustment. Last month, I was doing dead lifts with some heavy stuff. On the last lift, I heard a sound in my lower back that would make a rhino squeal. Pain began at the right side of the center of my lower back and radiated into both of the front of my thighs. I thought I had broken something. My pain threshold is realy high but I had to be helped into my car just to be able to drive home. I took some stong painkillers i had lying around but they did nothing. My workout buddy said call Dr. Dan. I went in and had the exam and then Dr. Dan told me what had happened. The sacro-illiac joint had misaligned. He told me that I was fortunate i did not rupture a disc. He used some therapy devices to get rid of the swelling and then he adjusted the sacro-illiac joint. I heard that same loud sound again but this time I could immediately stand up and bend with no pain. He was able to undo the problem that I had caused by lifting the heavy weight. I am so very safisfied to have been treated by Dr. Dan professionally and in the event I do something like that again, I know who to call. Thanks Dr. Dan!!
I was treated by Dr. Batchelor a few weeks ago for injuries I suffered from as a result of crashing on my mountain bike and injuring my elbow and lower back. I love to mountain bike and even though it is dangerous, the benefits definitely outweigh the detriments. My boyfriend trains and races bikes with Dr. Batchelor so when I crashed and got injured, it was a given that I seek care at Dr. Batchelor's office. Dr. Batchelor he is a top ranked endurance athlete himself. Dr. Batchelor x-rayed my painful elbow and found a small chipped bone near the joint. It was an injury that would not need a cast or surgery so I was happy about that. He put my arm in a splint and gave me a list of things to avoid for the next 8 weeks. It is healing up nicely. The other injury i sufferred from during the crash involved my lower back. The pain was intense and when I coughed it felt like the joint at the bottom of my lower back was going to explode. He examined my lower back and found that the last vertebra in my lower back had misaligned and was pinching on a nerve. He treated me by using ultrasound to reduce the swelling in the injured area and then he adjusted the vertebra back into normal position. My severe pain vanished immediately.
Doc Dan is the best!! Last year, I injured my right lower back when I had lunged at returning a serve while playing tennis when I heard this god aweful sound in my lower back. I thought I had broken something. Immediately I felt a pain in my right lower back that shot into my butt. My tennis partner took me to the emergency room where I was given a muscle relaxant and told to rest. The pain continued for 2 weeks without improvement. My sister referred me to Dr. Batchelor so i called and made an appointment. Doc Batchelor examined and treated me and by the end of the session, I felt as if I had never injured my back. Thats as good as you can get in my book and I have referred him to 2 of my friends in need.
Dr. Batchelor is the best!!!. I injured my back last year from pulling weeds in my garden. The pain radiated from my back to the bottom of my left foot. It was so severe, I had to crawl into the house. I called my next door neighbor who took me to her chiropractor Dr. Batchelor. He immediately used some sort of therapy machine to get my muscles out of spasm and then after examining my spine, he showed me where the 5th vertebra in my lower back had wedged sideways. He asked me if I had bent forward and lifting something forcefully. Thats exactly what I did when I had some stubborn weeds growing next to a huge tree. I reached around the tree and pulled the week with a large force. The weed did not come out but my back did. Dr. Batchelor treated me by using his hand and positioned me on the table so he could use leverage and reposition the L5 bone. I heard it move and clunk into place and all of a sudden the deep pain was gone. I dont know what I would have done without him. He fixed my back and then sat me down and went over corrective exercises so that I could get the balance back into my lower back again so that the same thing does not re-occur. I highly recommend Dr. Batchelor
Doctor with a special gift: Every once in awhile you meet someone with a special gift. When its your own doctor, you are very lucky. Dr. Batchelor is that doctor with a special gift. When I was 12 years of age I was in a whiplash accident. After that accident, I had a difficult time breathing. My parents took me to all of the so called experts in the field. No one could help me. After 14 more years, several doctors and several thousand dollars of tests with the final outcome as "inconclusive" I knew I had to search elsewhere. My co-worker referred me to Dr. Batchelor. It took Dr. Batchelor about 2 minutes to find the cause of my problem. He didnt need x-rays or thousands of dollars of diagnostic tests. He found the problem by palpating the ribs where they attach to my spine. He showed me where 2 ribs had come out of place from the seatbelt exerting pressure on my chest during sudden impact. He positioned my body a certain way and then exerted a gentle pressure against the ribs. I could hear 2 painless clicks. Click, click. The pain vanished and I could take a deep breath with no pain. I was amazed but I was also left wondering why no one knew how to fix the problem in the past 14 years. Dr. Batchelor stated that it was simple to diagnose and doesn't even require an x-ray or a diagnostic test. Its sort of like your finger being out of socket. Put it back in socket and the pain goes away. He didn't even charge me. He said it was too simple and didnt make him work.
