We love our environment and are taking steps to help keep it healthy. We now use electronic medical records and e-prescribing prescription medication. We use rechargeable batteries and recycled materials whenever possible. Finally, we have a lobby dedicated to nature complete with lots of sunshine and a koi pond.
This entire situation is ridiculous. I understand that nothing is free. I didnt and dont ask for any hand me downs. I work in an ob/gyn facility and I was informed that treatment should not be denied... if im in a payment plan with haven ob/gyn. I was planning on paying "my full balance" earlier than expected around income tax time. Im a very dependable, sweet, and reliable patient but was treated like I was a criminal . And no...ur office was clear as to the ESTIMATED OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. it was not fair on me so I COULD MAKE THE DECISION to if I could afford the surgery or not. I called my insuarance co prior to surgery and verfied and im paying northside hospital and anesthesiolgy bill to but they told me prior to. I had 6 fibroid tumors removed this summer. If I knew then what I knw now..I would have left those fibroid tumors in place until I got the money together rather than owe a bill and be refused to see the doctor for a small minor visit. But its ok...I knw better ob/gyn offices who will see me and not discrimimate. Im still going to pay you my money according to my financially agreement monthly. I dont think nothing is free. I work very hard to pay all my bills. I just can't believe I was refused treatment. Thanks Monica: for denying a paying patient who has never been late in paying the bill, always paying my co-pays when visiting the doctot, and ALWAYS made it to my doctors visits on time there at haven ob/gyn. U just lost one of the best patients..VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I'm a completely new patient and I've never experienced a service like this from any OBGYN office. I'm considered to be high risk with my current pregnancy; so finding a capable doctor was top... priority. I read over 50 reviews and made an appointment right away. My appointment was around 11am & it was very quiet. The waiting area gave you a calm/peaceful feeling. I interacted with 5 office staff members and they all were personable. I saw Dr. Jewell & instantly knew he was the right doc for me. He answered all my questions and kept asking me if I had anymore. He was AMAZING!!! (So was his assistant). He even hugged me when I was leaving. My husband and daughter were with me & we all agree that WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! After reading all of these positive reviews, you would be a FOOL not to make an appointment asap. BEST PLACE EVER!!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Dr.Moore and Leah Pombo are beyond incredible. I fully trust my medical care to Haven Ob/Gyn. After a not so smooth delivery with another Doctor, I was luckily enough to find Dr. Moore who delivered my second baby. He made both my husband and I feel 100% comfortable despite being high risk. Leah Pombo is an amazing Nurse Practitioner. She is caring, genuine, and so intelligent. Haven is truly a remarkable office.
I definitely recommend Dr. Moore to anyone seeking quality service and sound health advice. I went to Dr. Moore with a problem that is not so common, that I had previously tried to resolve on two occasions with a different doctor. Dr. Moore definitely took enough time to make sure my procedure was performed correctly, was very polite, skilled and knowledgeable about my issue. Also when I called his office with another issue, he promptly followed up(i was expecting the nurse to call, but he called me directly)and once again gave me great advice. Moreover, I do not have health insurance, and I find his fees to be very reasonable and affordable for such high quality of service. Thank you Dr. Moore!
Dr. Moore is AWESOME. This was my first time seeing a male doctor and he made me feel extremely comfortable. I am a young woman who was having gynecological issues (I feel like most on here talk about more baby-related reviews) and he sat and talked to me for at least 30 minutes in his office before going into the exam room. I've seen 3 or 4 doctors for the same issue, and Dr. Moore was able to figure out what was causing my pain within that visit. Although it is not something that can be solved (it just has to heal on its own), it was really nice to understand what is going on with my body. Also, it was nice to go to an office that wasn't extremely crowded! All the staff is extremely polite and they are usually running very on-time for a doctor's office. **Update: I changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars because I saw Dr. Boulton last week for a different pain I was having down there as she was available on short notice. After performing an exam and informing me that she was fairly confident I have an STI, I felt like she was very cold in discussing it with me. Clearly I was taken aback and emotional about the news, and when I asked her questions about what I should do next, tell my boyfriend, etc., I feel like she did not appropriately address the emotional and social aspects of these issues, and was not very compassionate. We are continuing to follow up on treatments but I think from now on I will wait to get appointments with Dr. Moore.
We are sorry about the bad experience you had at our practice. It is always difficult telling someone they have a sexually transmitted infection and a little awkward for everyone involved. We always strive for compassion and understanding and hate when our patients don't feel we've delivered the best care. We especially hate upsetting fellow Dawg fans (Dr. Moore is UGA class of 1991).
This is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. Dr. Moore delivered both of my girls and if I decide to have another he will deliver that one too. I never feel rushed or uncared for when he sees me. My concerns are always answered and throughout both of my pregnancies, I felt so at peace because I knew Dr. Moore would take care of me and my baby. I have also seen Dr. Boulton and she is very compassionate. I called the on call doc, and she called me back. She put my mind at ease and really knew how to talk to someone who was scared. I really appreciated that and it further strengthend my love for this office. The staff is great (better than most places I've been) If I could, I would see these doctors for everything!
Dr. Moore delivered my first child and I can tell you as long as I am in Atlanta I will never go to another practice. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. Dr. Moore is kind, understanding, patient, knowledgeable, and most of all; allows you to be yourself without any judgement. I am very lucky he will also be delivering my second child in June. Look no further!
Dr. Moore is fabulous. I've lived in 6 states and have had 2 kids. He is BY FAR the best OB I've had. I am so impressed that I wrote a review- I usually don't. Thank you Dr. Moore!
I started seeing Dr. Moore in 2006 when I moved from NY to ATL...I am now pregnant with my first child and Dr. Moore makes me feel calm, answers all my questions, is extremely informative and caring! I have NEVER felt so comfortable in my life at a doctor's office. He is the absolute best and I can't wait to have this baby! I will taking a picture of Dr. Moore and putting in my baby's book so he can one day see who made mommy's pregnancy carefree!
I love the staff. I love the doctors. They're all so patient and loving and kind. They treat you like you're the only patient that they have. No amount of questions is too many and they really take the time out to get to know you. I also love that they really listen to you. It's so well organized that there's rarely a long wait. Overall amazing experience. I can't imagine ever leaving this practice.
When I was pregnant with my son Dr. Moore saw us weekly because of my pregnancy. He has always had a way to make Don and I stay calm through our pregnancy. Because of Dr. Moore we have such a beautiful, smart caring little boy. Dr. Moore is truly the best OBGYN in ATL. We will always be forever thankful to him for taking such good care of me when I was pregnant. Ladies if your looking for a OBGYN DOCTOR in Atlanta GA. look no further than Dr. Moores office.
Dr Moore is beyond Amazing no matter how scared I got and it was a lot he knew what to say to calm me down. It has almost been 3 years since he delivered my son and we are looking forward to useing him on our next one. Overall he is the best out there
Dr. Moore and Dr. Boulton are amazing. I was looking through Northside Hospital's list of affiliated obgyn practices and came across the website for Dr. Moore. Their website was so informative. Dr. Moore is an incredible doctor, he cares deeply for his patients and the babies - he was just as excited to see Connor as we were!! This was my second pregnancy but first with Dr. Moore, he will be my doctor from now on!
There are many things I could write but I choose to just sum it all up. Both Moore and Boulton are fantastic doctors. They are very caring and dedicated to us their patients. I really thank god for blessing me to have such awesome doctors who actually listens to me and cares about my welfare(I also feel very comfortable with them). I appreciate all they have done. This is my third pregnancy, my second living child.I lost my first at 21 weeks and my second was born at 32 weeks. I am currently at 31 weeks, working, and chasing after my daughter and not on bedrest. Thank you very much Dr moore and Dr boulton for helping me attain a regular pregnancy when all the other doctors told me it was impossible. I am no longer scared or thinking the worse about my pregnancy but content and happy and hopeful this baby will make it to full term with no problems. I highly recommend both doctors especially if your a high risk pregnancy like I am, they really care and take the time to understand your situation and they also take the time to come up with solutions. Thank you very much Dr Boulton and Dr moore!!
After the first half of my pregnancy with another doctors office, I felt like everything was hopeless and there was no where else for me to turn. There were complications that could not be explained. I called just about every OB/GYN in the northern area to find the help I needed. Dr. Moore's front office staff answered the phone and I explained the complications I was having. The female told me in just a few minutes she would have Dr. Moore return my call. Dr. Moore was the first doctor who listened to my complications and gave me positive responses. He also scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Dr. Moore was the answer to my prayers! The next morning I met with Dr. Boulton, another doctor in the practice. She was absolutely the most wonderful thing and conducted an ultrasound so I could see my baby was doing O.K. She scheduled an appointment with the specialist for the next day. Dr. Boulton was positive about my condition and gave me words of encouragement. My pregnancy has been a very tough road and I had many sleepless weeks due to stress. The first night after I met with Dr. Boulton I was able to sleep soundly. I know that I will be very well taken of and have found the perfect set of doctors. If you are looking for the perfect doctors office, look no further than Dr. Moore and Dr. Boulton. I can not thank them enough for their genuine compassion and support.
I am a physician with a gynecologic problem that is embarassing and not very common. I called around to gynecology offices to try to find a doctor who might be willing to help me. After many failed attempts, I finally found Dr. Moore's name on Kudzu. Dr. Moore listened to my problem, and right away he said he was willing to try to help me; he just needed to do some initial research. I want to thank Dr. Moore for his time, interest, and professionalism. The office is also convenient from 285, there is free parking, and his staff is nice and helpful. I have since been referring my own patients to him who ask for a gyne/ OB referral.
Dr. Moore goes above and beyond expectation with each pregnancy. He is the most thorough OB/GYN that I've ever seen. I had a pre-existing condition which led to potential complications during my pregnancies and Dr. Moore has always treated me as his important patient, not yet another pregnant woman. He has addressed every concern in a timely manner, including return calls for simple questions pertaining to my symptoms. When I moved 35 miles away I switched doctors to the most sought after practice in my new area, and I practically came running back. I recommend him to anyone looking for a personal experience.
If you are comfortable with your work, there was no need for that response. In the future, you should encourage your patients to bring a tape recorder so that you would never have to deal with a situation like this again. 2.10.10 Wow!!! You have never suggested, recommended, nor found a specialist or any doctor who could have possibly treated endo. People please get a 2nd opinion about your endo. There are specialists right here in Atlanta to provide you with better solutions.
This patient had surgery for a difficult condition that was only discovered during surgery. She is still having pain and I think will require drastic treatment that she is not ready for. Unfortunately she has chosen me to blame instead of the underlying condition. As I have explained to her during multiple conversations and emails, we don't always have easy solutions in medicine. Usually I spend time trying to find a specialist to help with the solution or provide some comfort if there is no solution. In this case I found myself under attack from the person I was trying to help. She posted a nasty review about me and I responded in kind with an angry response. I have since rescinded this response in the name of professionalism. I wish "Frustrated" well in the future and hope she gets satisfactory treatment with her new doctor.
