Great Service, 3/18/2015

Technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He performed quality work and advised me of the rates. Prices were higher than expected.

Brian Payne, 3/12/2015

My water heater busted in the middle of the night and flooded my in-law suite. Brian Payne from The Pink Plumber came out to fix it. He went out of his way to find a water heater and get to my... house quickly. He was professional and friendly. Thanks Brian!

Avoid the Pink Plumber

Had them out two days ago for a busted pipe from the recent freeze. $168 to remove 3 snap together soffits; took about 3 minutes max. Pipe was visible and easily accessible. Took a short time to remove broken section and put in a splice; another $440. Plumber was in and out in about 30-45 minutes. $15 for Environmental Fee? Yeah, didn't understand that one either. Grand total, about $10 in parts, all for a bargain $625. Was also told I have a broken regulator, but they could replace for ONLY another $620...um, NO. Doctors make less, and they close up the wound. I got to do the putting it all back myself. In my opinion, this company takes advantage of desperate consumers, and socks it to them on cost. I can understand making a profit, but $625 per hour??? Next time, I'll get estimates and/or do it myself. Won't do business with them again... will tell everyone I can to do the same...

Life Savers!

We are so grateful to find The Pink Plumber! They were professional, reasonable and had financing options available. Dave, the manager, was very helpful and made sure that he sent the best master plumber to replace the main drain line. Jerry, the master plumber, was a pleasure to work with and definitely knows his stuff! Todd and other staff spoken to over the phone, were very nice too! The Pink Plumber is a LIFE SAVER!

WORST EVER

EVER HEARD OF THE PINK PLUMBER????? The WORST experience EVER!!! They are a TOTAL rip off. They charged my BLIND elderly mother $400.00 to fix a 20 year old stained toilet (Never even suggesting to her to replace it) They PRESSURED her to do it NOW or the price would be $526.00. Scam Artists. Then their service man, James HUNG UP ON ME. Then their manager (this is a loose term), Dave, spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to tell me that $400.00 was a "VALUE". HA!! I have had two brand new toilets put in my house for no more than $250.00 completely installed by insured licensed and bonded plumbers. These guys are con-artists. Stay away....VERY FAR AWAY. Any other plumber would be better than them.

The Pink Plumber replied on 03-05-2015

Ms. Mogins review is based on opinion and emotion, not fact. The facts are that we were called to her mothers home for a toilet leak. We have Flat Rate Pricing. Our prices are predetermined so that we charge Every customer (Man, Woman, Young, Old), the Exact same price for there particular problem. We do not have a separate book for Elderly blind women. We arrive at the home and give you the price UP FRONT. If you choose not to do the work we walk away. No Pressure. There is not one Licensed Plumber in the entire metro Atlanta area that will install two toilets for $250.00. (Show me the invoice). We have been in business for over twenty years, You don't stay in business that long by ripping off customers. I have reached out to Ms. Mogins to try to find a resolution to her problem and I have received no response. These are the Facts! I find it very sad that anyone can write a review filled with slanderous accusations and emotion filled ramblings without having to support it with the facts. Ms. Mogins wasn't even at the home when the work was performed.

prompt and courteous!

I had a water heater issue and after talking to several plumbers I called Pink Plumber and scheduled an appointment since their dispatcher sounded the most genuinely interested in assisting me. Their technician, Chip, was on time, had a great attitude, and comprehensively educated me on the issues and walked me through my options. He went above and beyond in his expertise and level of service, and was helpful in illustrating some additional risk factors I will need to address in order to best protect my home in the long run. He did a good job on my water heater and I learned a lot, definitely a good value for the cost incurred and I will not hesitate to use their services again. They've definitely won a customer for life - call Pink Plumber if you want the real deal.

Prompt, Professional Emergency Septic Service

I had an emergency septic problem at my home in Roswell early one weekday morning. I called the Pink Plumber from memory due to radio ads on WSB AM750. Their dispatcher was responsive and courteous. I was impressed with their upfront pricing and prompt scheduling. I received same-day service within the window promised. The technicians, Jody and Collin, were uniformed, professional, and very knowledgeable of my old system that was installed in 1972. I purchased this home 18 months ago from the original owner. It was very apparent that the system had not been properly maintained. Jody took the time to teach me about the system piece by piece; valuable information for any homeowner with a septic system. Additional costs were incurred along the way as Jody worked through diagnosing the problem. You never know what you'll unearth when digging. All additional work and associated costs were clearly explained to me by Jody and my authorization was required before proceeding. Jody was able to quickly diagnose and solve the problem, and made me feel that there was a watchful eye on the overall cost throughout the entire service. I feel that the pricing was fair and that I was not sold additional, unnecessary services in this emergency situation. I highly recommend the Pink Plumber to anyone with a septic system looking for professional repair service. Thank you to Jody, Collin and the Pink Plumber team.

Quick, efficient service

I've used these folks twice now, and both times they've been great. The first time it was to fix an gasket that exploded in the basement, this time it was to repair a leak above the garage. In both cases, they were fast, friendly, and got the job done quickly.

Great service , especially for a weekend

Steve the technician was excellent . Went above and beyond to get the new water heater installed even though it was late on a Sunday evening . Only issue was that the total cost was a little more than as advertised .

Thieves

They claim the service call is $45. Technician came out to fix a bathroom leak dripping into the ceiling below, took 5 minutes to determine water was coming from behind the shower tiles, they said they don't do tile work, so I expected to pay $45 for the service call fee, instead the technician went around the house claiming other problems needed to be fixed completely unrelated to what I called them for, and attempted to charge me $2200 to repair them. When I told them I don't want any of it, they changed the trip charge to $150 for this nightmare and nothing was fixed!! Stay away from these people, don't let them step in your house, they will never leave and charge you terribly for it.

The Pink Plumber replied on 01-23-2015

Our trip charge is $45 and is waived if any work is done, and this is explained when the customer calls in to make the appointment. We did not change the trip charge to $150 when the customer declined repairs. This was a diagnostic charge to find the cause of the leak and could not be done in 5 mins. Our technicians do not roam through houses without permission to inspect the plumbing. We also give up front pricing and we do not force customers to do work they do not agree to. Unfortunately we do not know who this customer is, and would encourage and appreciate if they would take a few mins to call and speak with a manager concerning their dissatisfaction. We welcome feedback and while we feel "Thieves" is a bit strong, customers feedback to us directly is important.

Anthony & Greg to the rescue--again!

The plumbing gods frowned down upon us again on New Year's Eve. A plumber was dispatched. He tinkered for an hour or so & gave up. We were told that Anthony & Greg were at another job finishing up and were, I am sure, eagerly anticipating their day off on New Year's Day. Surprisingly & quite unbelievably, Anthony called us on New Year's Eve & said he & Greg would be at our house the next day. They spent about 8 hours getting us up and running again...on their day off! These guys are wonderful & always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right and ensure the satisfaction of their clients. I would not trust my plumbing/septic work to anybody else.

Polite but did not get full disclosure on pricing

First off everyone we dealt with was polite and professional. I called about the $159 tank pump special. Never was I told that this was for a certain amount and that any amount over that would have an additional charge. My husband was told this after the work was completed and it was time for payment to be collected. We were expecting to pay $159 and ended up paying $359. That is bait and switch at its finest.
