I originally took my car in for a quote based on service done at a different Mr. Transmission almost 30 years ago. Repairs were done as quoted with no add-ons to my 2001 Honda Accord EX and in the... time specified in the quote. Friendly service and was endorsed by my regular mechanic. Ha transmission issue with our VW Cabrio, and noted the sign from Abernathy road of Mr. Transmission. Took it there and they were professional, checked the car out and then gave me an estimate range... to fix. Came in under the highest estimate closer to the lowest and the car runs great. Had the shop next door do some other work on car, and all went well. Worth the money and now car is worth something, while before not even $100. So keeping the Cabrio for another 5 years. My general experience with Mr. Transmission was good because they were very nice people. They definitely helped me out as far as offering a competitive price here in Atlanta. I have a 13-year-old car, and travelling in the hills with it still seems a little iffy. I'm not completely convinced that my car is running well now, but that could just be because it's so old.

We've had various transmission problems and Mr. Transmission always fixes them. There have been other problems with the vehicle that they've identified, but if they can't fix it themselves, they recommend someone who can. They're always courteous and bend over backwards to get things done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them to anybody and have done so on several occasions.

We took our vehicle to another place first and they recommended Mr. Transmission since the job was more than they could handle. So, Mr. Transmission came and picked up our car, fixed it, and the car is fine now.They scheduled a follow-up visit and everything was fine. The car has been perfect since then. I'm going in once a year to have my transmission fluid checked there, which helps avoid a lot problems, and everyone should do the same.

I would like to thank Mr. Lowell and the team at this location for an all around great experience. My 2006 Saturn Vue needed a new transmission at 200,000, it is my work horse, and I needed to trust that the job would be done right. I am now almost a year later at 227,500 miles and the transmission is handling just fine. My experience with Mr. Transmission is based around the relationship I have built there with one guy. Lowell is nothing short of excellent. He is very trustworthy and I think the world of him. He's different than a lot of other people in that way. Sometimes he will tell you that you don't need to do something when another mechanic would tell you that you do just to charge more.I value the trust I have built with Lowell and the relationship I have with him. He has character. I've gone there even for jobs that don't involve my transmission. I have referred a couple of people there: neighbors and others. I've told them that it's nice to know that everything Mr. Transmission does is needed and not just done to jack up the price. Experience and knowledge are important, but trust is everything to me.

Mr. Transmission rebuilt my transmission a year ago. They're a local, small business so their quality of service is one that traditionally goes along with that kind of business. They're really friendly, personable, very honest, and didn't oversell me on anything.
We brought in our Chevy Suburban for problems we were having with our four-wheel drive. We were bracing for an estimate in the thousands; when we got a call, Lowell said the problem was just a switch that he could replace for under $200. Thank goodness!
Lowell and company "rebuilt" my transmission after the dealer tried to rip me off with an exorbant price for a new one. Then a few months later the dealer said I had a transmission leak and again quoted a huge price. Lowell took my car in and looked at it. Spent a considerable amount of time and discovered another problem not related to the transmission which another mechanic fixed. THEN he took my car for a drive to be sure it was indeed not the transmission. ALl this and no charge. I would go to him again in a heartbeat, he has my total trust and appreciation. A real pro and a totally honest businessman!

My honda pilot broke down on 400 due to a burned out converter! Thank goodness i had a warranty on my vehicle. Lowell. Took the time and explained to me my issue in detail and worked with my warrenty co to make sure everything went smoothly. These folks are great, my suv was back on the road and driving better the ever in no time....thanks Lowell:)
