My husband and I have been extremely impressed by the professionalism and thorough work of the Trusted Toolbox. We recently had some tree damage to our home, and were fortunate to have the Trusted... Toolbox out to our house the following day to assess the damage as they fit us in between appointments. They made our repairs quick, easy and painless, and their contractors are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We have also used the Trusted Toolbox for reinforcement of our decks, and they did a fantastic job of educating us on the process. We look forward to using Trusted Toolbox in the future!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Robert not only diagnosed the problem but corrected it quickly and expertly. He was always punctual and I would hire him again in an instant.
Tim and Don Woodall at the Trusted Toolbox are amazing. They both have great personalities and superb customer service. I selected them to do our company's build out project after dealing with other contractors who were just trying to pad their pockets. I was given great advice and a great price. They really cared about what was best for the company. You can't go wrong with The Trusted Toolbox!
As promised to the Owner, and GM of The Trusted Toolbox, I am following up on my original review. Chris, the Owner, and Edd, the GM became involved in my renovation project. They did make a punch list at my request to attempt to address the multitude of issues we had throughout this project. It did include items which were not on the original estimate. In addition, they came to the property to meet with me face to face. I appreciate their involvement. They were not able to address most of the issues without causing further damage. However, their explanation was very thorough and detailed. In the case of the tile job, they would have had to start over. We settled our differences face to face. I wish our experience had been different. Most of the issues were due to the sub contractors they hired or the lack of communication from the PM. I am disappointed the owner chose to place the blame on his customer and not take responsibility for their failures.
This experience is not typical of working with our company. Communication is key in any project and with this individual, the dialogue hard to initiate and was at all times confrontational. When working with a company on a project, there needs to be 2 parties working together to achieve a common objective. We understand this and always strive to live up to the words we have in all of our documentation. For the quality items, all were addressed as punch list items, in addition to show our commitment to quality, we included additional work outside of the scope of our original work.
Juan converted a 12x20 attic space off of my daughter's bedroom to a fully functional room addition for her to use--foam insulation to flooring, painting, and etc.Juan installed plywood in the main upstairs attic to serve as storage space--very large area (attic space has foam insulation so the temperature is great).Drywall repair over foyer. Pulte had installed a ladder-type structure that didn't support the wall causing the drywall to crack. The drywall had to be repaired several times while under warranty, with the drywall continuing to crack after the warranty had expired. Juan replaced the ladder-type structure with a header that will support the wall and prevent cracking. 4-Other drywall repair projects were completed as well. I cannot say enough great things about Juan and The Trusted Toolbox. I have never had anyone complete a project in my home that was as kind and professional as Juan. He completed all of my projects by himself and did an excellent job. Juan had a lot of great ideas and made suggestions that improved my projects. He would also listen to any of my suggestions and was very accommodating. I did have several additional requests that Juan and The Trusted Toolbox was able to work-in and arrange Juan's schedule so that he could complete the additional work. Randy, the project manager, was excellent as well and made several visits to check on my projects. He was very professional as well and was very helpful with my additional requests.
The Trusted Toolbox consistently delivers excellent service. They are always quick to respond, are professional, and deliver quality workmanship. Recent electrical work performed by Robert was beyond excellent. The Trusted Toolbox is a very well run business and most importantly, one you can trust.
We had the dreaded water leak. Chris, the owner, referred me to a leak detector and plumber, at no cost to him, and then sent his employee Juan to fix the ceiling drywall. Juan was punctual, courteous and very NEAT. He was able to feather in the patch better than any dry-walling we have ever had. Trusted Toolbox has once again proven to be a great resource and trusted contractor! GREAT COMPANY from the receptionist to the repair man Juan! Kudos!
We needed a pull down attic stairs replaced & 2 closet doors. James from Trusted Toolbox came and did an excellent job. He was so professional and will definitely call trusted toolbox again!
The work was top quality. The people professional. I had an issue and did not understand the estimate and Chris made sure I was satisfied at his own expense. I will definately use again and urge anyone I know to do so also.
Craig from Trusted Toolbox has done an incredible job on handyman work at my house. We recently moved and I needed drains fixed, faucets changed, large mirrors and art hung, ceiling fans replaced, chandelier installed, large armoires anchored to walls, drapery rods installed, walls repaired, and so much more! He is amazing!! He was here for two full days and just kept asking, "Whats next". VERY fast worker as well as great quality work, friendly and extremely helpful. Will use again!!
I had a leak in my ceiling and it was a horrible mess. I called The Trusted ToolBox and they were able to come out and get right on the job. I was very impressed with the detail and the time placed into the repair. Needless to say when the repair was complete we could hardly notice that we ever had an issue with a huge crack in our ceiling as a result of the leak. Joel did a great job. "Hats off" to Chris and his entire team. I will be using The Trusted Toolbox again! Terri
Trusted Toolbox gave me a quote of $300.00 just to re-attach a gable louver attic vent that had come loose near the top peak of my house. Breakdown of quote: $100.00 for screws to re-attach cover, minute amount of paint and caulk; $120.00 to secure the attic vent with 3 inch screws; $80.00 for minute amount of putty and paint. When Tim from the Trusted Toolbox called me to see if I received the quote I told him I was insulted by the quote of $300.00 and number 1 I never asked them to paint or caulk anything and if I did the materials certainly would not cost $180.00. I said "do you think I have never walked into a Home Depot and purchased screws, paint and caulk." Tim said he would be able to do the job for around $150.00, but, he would not be able to guarantee the work. I told Tim that no matter how much I paid for the job to get done, the workmanship should last more than 3 months. He said he would talk with the owner and see if they would be able to do the job for $150.00 and get back with me. Needless to say, I never heard back from them, and, with this kind of treatment, I would not want The Trusted Toolbox to do the work for me. I really felt insulted by this kind of service and would not recommend this company.
Craig Treichel helped us out today on multiple small projects. Those annoying ones that your husband thinks he can do but can't. Well Craig's solutions were innovative. Tim provided us a timely estimate which is rare in this industry. Thank you.
My experience with The Trusted Toolbox team was 5-star. Project mgr Randy Williams kept me well informed on progress and made sure I was totally satisfied with all the big and small details. The final cost was as planned in the budget with no surprises. I will recommend Chris Lalomia and his team to friends. Many thanks for a job well done!
Repair required was replacing damaged "T Molding" in patio door frame. Randy (Trusted Tool Box) explained the work necessary, completed the job on time and was very personable. Positive experience...I asked if they could provide an estimate on another project from my "to do" list!
I had an external vent installed for my microwave/range hood. Frank V. did a very good job planning (and looking at several options), to make sure the 6 inch ducting would fit before cutting into the cabinet (the fan placement and 6 inch duct made this very tricky). The job was well done and looks good inside and out. It took a couple of weeks to schedule the work after I accepted the quote. I would have appreciated some updates on the time frame for availability. I will use Trusted Toolbox again for my projects and recommend them to friends and neighbors.
The Trusted Toolbox has done a number of jobs at my house, on two different occasions. They are very professional and know what they are doing. Their technician Randy Williams is great and I specifically asked that he be sent out for the second job. Randy made two very complex repairs of rotted wood and he did a super job. Worth every penny. Itís hard to even get a call back from so many contractors, so the professionalism of TTBX is really appreciated. Jeff who did the estimates and Ed who did the scheduling were very courteous, friendly and professional. A first rate company!
