I had my patio screened in last week February 2015. Brian showed up and worked outside in 36% temps for over 3 hours. I think that is going beyond what he had to do. If they'd rescheduled the job I... certainly would've understood, but they didn't. Brian did a beautiful job and I am going to enjoy it so much when the weather warms up!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Greg did a wonderful job in repairing damage due to water leak. Very thorough and helpful in answering questions, offering suggestions and also providing updates throughout the process. Will... definitely contact The Trusted Toolbox for future repairs!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Robert not only diagnosed the problem but corrected it quickly and expertly. He was always punctual and I would hire him again in an instant.
Craig Treichel helped us out today on multiple small projects. Those annoying ones that your husband thinks he can do but can't. Well Craig's solutions were innovative. Tim provided us a timely estimate which is rare in this industry. Thank you.
My experience with The Trusted Toolbox team was 5-star. Project mgr Randy Williams kept me well informed on progress and made sure I was totally satisfied with all the big and small details. The final cost was as planned in the budget with no surprises. I will recommend Chris Lalomia and his team to friends. Many thanks for a job well done!
Repair required was replacing damaged "T Molding" in patio door frame. Randy (Trusted Tool Box) explained the work necessary, completed the job on time and was very personable. Positive experience...I asked if they could provide an estimate on another project from my "to do" list!
I had an external vent installed for my microwave/range hood. Frank V. did a very good job planning (and looking at several options), to make sure the 6 inch ducting would fit before cutting into the cabinet (the fan placement and 6 inch duct made this very tricky). The job was well done and looks good inside and out. It took a couple of weeks to schedule the work after I accepted the quote. I would have appreciated some updates on the time frame for availability. I will use Trusted Toolbox again for my projects and recommend them to friends and neighbors.
The Trusted Toolbox has done a number of jobs at my house, on two different occasions. They are very professional and know what they are doing. Their technician Randy Williams is great and I specifically asked that he be sent out for the second job. Randy made two very complex repairs of rotted wood and he did a super job. Worth every penny. Itís hard to even get a call back from so many contractors, so the professionalism of TTBX is really appreciated. Jeff who did the estimates and Ed who did the scheduling were very courteous, friendly and professional. A first rate company!
This is a first class company!! Jeff came out to do the estimate and he was very nice, very thorough and very helpful! Frank V. came to do the work and it was done very professionally, carefully and exactly what was in the proposal and he left NO MESS !!!! This is a company that is a real pleasure to do business with - I have already the company brochure and cards to many of my neighbors - and, I tell them all they must request Jeff to do the estimate and Frank V. to do the work!!!
This was my first experience with The Trusted Toolbox. I usually work only with company's referred by family or friends, however, I kept running across their trucks around town and decided to give them a try. I have never experienced such professionalism and superior quality work in my 13 years living in Atlanta. Chris arrived exactly on time, and started by introducing himself, explaining what he was planning to work on, which was all typed out on an invoice, per my earlier call that week. He dressed in a uniform, was clean cut, and extremely polite. He proceeded to spend time prepping the two rooms for painting and other minor work, including switching out ceiling fans, fixtures, and replacing faucets to more modern ones. His painting was absolutely perfect, with little taping...all by hand from experience. He worked all day, and cleaned up and even vacuumed afterwards! He explained the bill, and asked if there was anything else he could do while he was there. I was extremely impressed with Chris, the work completed, and the company in general, and would recommend them every day of the week. What a great company, that gets not only customer service, but quality work! Thanks Trusted Toolbox!
Before meeting with Jeff, I was somewhat apprehensive about the work that I needed done. But soon after speaking with him, my worries were put aside. Jeff gave me accurate quotes for the job (new deck), and the craftsmanship was outstanding. A professional business on all levels. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!
Thank you for your review, we appreciate your business
I contacted Trusted Toolbox and the staff was courteous and professional. I received an estimate for a basement remodel and some handyman jobs around the house. The estimate was definitely on the higher end, probaby due to labor and materials. Cheaper definitely is not better, but doesn't necessarily mean expensive is better either. Despite great service and professionalism I did not award them the contract as I was seeking the Best Value.
We plan on selling our house in a few years and decided to hire someone to do smaller projects as a way to try them out. In addition to some very minor projects, we had a new gate put on our fence. After about two months the fence cracked near one of the supports. We contacted Chris, the owner, since they guarantee their work of 1 year. It is apparent from the pictures we sent that there was a knot in the wood that contributed to the crack, but Chris' first reaction was that "it looks like someone cut the plank". He then said he would be in our area in a "few weeks" and would try to send someone out to look at it then, but they would have to charge us if they determined it was not their fault. We never received any follow up (even though we saw one of their vans less than a mile from our house a few days later). We ended up fixing the issue ourselves for minimal time and cost- wonder why Chris couldn't have done the same and kept our business. I'll look elsewhere for our larger projects given the poor response to our issue. I would hate to have had this experience with a more expensive project.
All of the comments above are "true", as quotes "" will help, but the rest of the story, was that this was assigned to a technician to repair as warranty item. Bottom line, we didn't fix our problem and we do stand behind our work. Our technician forgot to complete the work when in the area and unfortunately it was marked completed. If you read this review, please know 2 things. 1st, give us a call and the benefit of the doubt and you may be pleasantly surprises, 2nd, we always strive to put the customer 1st and earn people's trust every day. we have offered this customer on numerous occasions to provide service free of charge and have not heard back.
I had the Trusted toolbox out to quote a very simple job on my home that would have easily taken less than 4 hours. The appointment time the office gave me was 12:30 and Chris arrived around 2PM. Late but not a big deal as I had take the day off to get quotes. I also had 3 other well know contractors come out and quote the job. Trusted toolbox was more than double the next highest quote. In the end I chose the highest quote of the remaining three and saved my self over 500 dollars and I could not be more pleased with the work. I am not sure how there quality is so I give them the benefit of the doubt and rate it at 5 stars. Service was average and value was poor. TL;DR Probably do great work but I wouldn't know because they are not competitive with their pricing. Do your homework and get several quotes.
Thank you for the review, I wish we could have talked in more detail, as the estimate was sent as promised, then followed up on, and the first we have heard from this individual was on this open forum. We find that dealing with people individually is much more rewarding, so if you would like to work with us, give us a call 770-623-3097. PS - I personally listened to the initial inquiry via our recordings and the estimate was set for 2:00 per the conversation, so I am glad that we did everything as expected.
I rarely do "reviews", but felt this company needs to hear this. I had them out to my house well over a month ago to look at several jobs, but never heard back from them. I called once, thinking maybe they wrote my number and email down wrong, left a message, called the rep's cell number and left a message there...still nothing. I might have had good things to say, but this customer NO service has left a very bad taste in my mouth about them. I should NOT have to be chasing them down to get a quote. They lost out on doing several jobs for me - I have since found companies that actually do respond. Trusted Toolbox - you need to train your people better on how to follow up, how to do what they say they'll do, and how to say Thank You to the customer. An anti-referral is a business killer!
As the owner, I take this personally, and would welcome the opportunity to "hear" this. We have a central number, please call me and I would be happy to see if we could make this right. 770-623-3097. I posted the original reply in May, and as of 6/18, we still haven't heard back from this reviewer, and still stand behind our name and number, please give us a call.
I had gotten a estimate for the work I wanted from another contractor, then had the toolbox give me an estimate. The toolbox came in at a much lower price. Randy came out and worked all day and did a great job, even throwing in some extras at no cost! I am very happy with the work and price, and will be using these guys again!
Thank you for your review and business, we enjoyed working with you.
The delay in writing this rave review is only due to relocation to another state and the harsh winter we encountered here. In getting our Atlanta home ready for sale, we needed to do some repair and touch up work. Trusted Toolbox not only provided a fair and reasonable estimate, but sent Brian -- who was nothing short of fantastic. Brian treated our home as if it was his own. He could be left to do his work for hours at a time and you would never even know he was there. He even made nice comments about our home to prospective buyers as they came through. We're confident that without The Trusted Toolbox, our home would never have sold as quickly as it did and at the price it did. We'll sure miss them!
These guys were great! Frank and his co-worker came out to hang a ceiling for me. My ceiling is 20' high so they had they work cut out for them but they handled it without any problem. They were ON TIME and called ahead which is great. They completed the work quickly and were friendly on top of that. I will absolutely call them again for future projects. Thanks!
