Business overview

Whether you're new to the Atlanta area or a native Southerner, with the humid climate, wooded landscape and new building and development, eventually you will have some unwelcome invaders in your home.

For a permanent solution to rodent and animal entry, Mayday Wildlife Services offers a complete home exclusion rather than just a temporary control method. We are Atlanta's experts in squirrel removal, rodent removal along with treatments for moles, voles & many other home invading pests... We also offer an extended renewable warranty on all our work.

Exclusion is the only way to permanently remove nuisance wildlife from your home. At Mayday Wildlife Services, our professionally-trained wildlife technicians will inspect and seal the entire roofline of your home. The metal is custom-contoured to fit your roof and is securely fastened with steel screws to ensure rodents can no longer enter the home through the construction gap. All vents, gables, and other entry points that require airflow will be sealed with steel mesh that is rodent-proof.

In addition to Animal Capture, Bee Removal, Dead Animal Removal and Live Trapping, we also offer installation of commercial-quality gutter guards either as an add-on service or exclusively. For complete information on our guarantee, treatment methods and to see what sets us apart, please visit our web site or call us at (678)224-5783.

excellent service

We had a squirrel problem with our home in Alpharetta around 10 years ago and hired Mayday to help seal up our house. They did such an outstanding job that we used them at our next house in Roswell and have not had any issues. Great customer service; they will do extra to make sure you are pleased.

Your partner vs. RATS

We have been with Mayday since a major rat infestation in a home we had just bought threatened to destroy our peace of mind 5+ years ago. They were, and are, thorough and take the time to make sure the rodents are trapped while sealing all possible entry points. We have had to use them every year or two to find and seal additional entry points as they arise. When an issue arises they are usually at our house the next day, prepared to deal with the latest problem. The great customer service is sincerely appreciated.

Resolved my problem!

We had wildlife activity in our attic. After trying another service we contacted MayDay and was very satisfied with the results. This was several years ago and we continue to keep our warranty renewed each year just in case. Each renewal comes with another inspection to make sure new entries do not exist. Thank you MayDay.

Rats can be some of the most dangerous, costly, and annoying pests to deal with. No matter where you live in Atlanta, you face the risk of having your home infested. While you can’t completely eliminate your chances of an infestation, you can greatly reduce your risk. Here are the most common things that attract rodents and what to do about it.

What Attracts Rodents

Rodents are attracted to food and shelter. And unfortunately, rodents can eat almost anything and live just about anywhere. However, a filthy home or yard will dramatically increase the likelihood of an infestation.

Dirty cupboards and floors, exposed garbage, piles of junk or debris in your yard, and holes or gaps anywhere around your home... READ MORE »

rat removal

If you are hearing the pitter-patter of rat feet in your walls, it's time to do something. However, it's important to ensure the safety of your family while doing so. If you have children, here are 3 safe rat removal techniques.

  • 1. Get a pet: While it might seem counterintuitive to try and rid your home of critters by purchasing a critter, it's a great option. Cats and rat terriers are great pets for a home that has an infestation. It's in their nature to hunt rats. Once the rats feel threatened, they will leave on their own. Plus, if you need to have an animal roaming your home, it might as well be one you actually want!

    2. Trap... READ MORE »

  • squirrels in attics

When critters invade our homes, it can be really scary. Despite the fact that they are actually afraid of us, we're afraid of them too. One of the critters we get constant calls about is the squirrel. Despite their cuteness, these little guys are nasty and, if they happen to be living in the attic, that's going to get nasty too. If the pitter-patter of uninvited guests is causing sleeping problems, be sure to call in professionals to conduct a squirrel removal right away.

    A Source of Disease

The first concern when it comes to squirrels in the attic is disease. Without a doubt, these animals are going to defecate,... READ MORE »

    Mayday Wildlife Services

Your home is an investment that is worth protecting. We at Mayday Wildlife Services know that when creatures and critters invade, a lot of damage can be done and a lot of money can be spent taking care of that damage. Rather than dealing with extensive rodent damage, learn how to spot signs of the creatures early by learning about mole removal and these three telltale signs of mole activity.

    Tunnels or Raised Ridges

Moles create tunnels to forage for food. They are usually created in areas where the soil is moist because grubs and worms are likely to be... READ MORE »

At Mayday Wildlife Services, we know what a nuisance squirrels can be. Despite being wild animals, they are drawn to the comfort and convenience of human structures. Squirrels don't make polite house guests. Even beyond the racket they make, they leave droppings and chew on various parts of your home, including potentially dangerous wires. So what do you do?

In the event of a squirrel in your home, your best option is to call a company that provides squirrel removal services. Though it is possible to trap a squirrel yourself, it is not recommended, even if you can get... READ MORE »
