Septic systems are a serious source of groundwater contamination. Septic systems are designed to drain away human waste underground at a slow, harmless rate. An improperly designed, located, constructed, or maintained septic system can leak bacteria, viruses, household chemicals, and other contaminants into the groundwater causing serious problems. It is recommended that you have your septic tank pumped and inspected every 3 to 5 years. RooterPLUS! - helping keep Gerogia's groundwater safe.
So this is our anniversary - 7 years of wonderful marriage. We laughed about getting a clogged drain and called rooterplus. WOW WHAT A MISTAKE. An incompetent untrained plumber arrives not in any... uniform but in sweats - this made me suspect to begin with and i shld have asked him to leave right then. Next, he spends 15 minutes kind of hanging around looking at sink (mind u this was in the end a simple clog). Has me sign for a $250 unclogging charge (which i did just cause he was here already). I proceed to tell my wife I dont think guy knows what he is doing and then THE FLOODGATES OPEN! he released the pipes under the clogged sink and water rush led thru floor and out of basement ceiling!! Now water damage company here, the playroom for kids unusable for 4 days and we have 5 kids under 6 arriving Monday! Carpet pad torn up, holes in playroom ceiling in basement, fans and dehumidifiers going and loud for next 3-4 days! Most likely room cant be patched up before Christmas and anniversary day today ruined. The worst part is I have done so much business w these guys that i expected so much more - they offered no compensation for family, for frustration, for ruining our special day, for impacting our week with family! Sure they are doing the minimum of fixing what they 'broke' but what about us being inconvenienced because of their lack of competence...VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Came out to unclog a drain. 99.00 went up to 484.00. had to call them back in three weeks and was told that everything the first tech told me could not be verifed. (different tech showed up the second time) I was told I needed a different service.. 900.00. I had no choice because I had tenants in the house. I feel ripped off and would never use this company again and would tell others to stay far away

After some extensive conversations I believe we have come to an understanding of the charges you incurred. Unfortunately, the job at your rental home entailed more than what the guidelines are for our $99 Drain Cleaning Special stated on our website. Our second technician did attempt to clear your line for again at no charge. The full amount from your initial service was credited toward the additional work required to bring your sewer line to proper functioning and you approved this service before we began the work. We are appreciative of your feed back and I am glad I could help you sort out your concerns. Your additional credit of $200 is being processed as an effort to complete your satisfaction as our customer. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions. Thank you! ~Your Customer Relations Manager
Rooter Plus was here when they said they would and I asked for a specific technician and he came ontime both times. He was knowledgable and courteous. I learned a lot from him enough to be dangerous now. I would use Rooter Plus again, recommend them because of Kevin Barrett's A1 customer service.

Thank you very much!! Kevin Barrett is an excellent plumber and I'm glad he was able to give you so much information about your home! Please don't ever hesitate to give us a call night or day! We are honored that you have chosen RooterPLUS! to be your preferred plumbing, septic, heating, and air professionals! Thank you! Very truly ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
Rooterplus was called to pump septic tank for a tenant. We were told the fee was $195 with no additional fees. After they arrived, we were told we need additional work including baffles being replaced, field lines being either cleaned or replaced . They charged us an extra $200 that day to "clean front baffle". The extra work we were told we needed all added up to between $3879 and $5500.We didn't go and check this out in person but they showed us pictures. Pictures could have been from anyone's septic system. Needless to say we wanted a second opinion. This time we personally went to the property to see what was up. It turns out that we did NOT need new baffles. The existing were still intact and working fine. The field lines were not clogged up and were also working fine. So if Rooterplus tries to sell you a line for huge bucks, spend an extra $100 or so to get a second opionion..It saved us from spending thousands of dollars.

I apologize for the inconveniences this has caused you. We are disappointed to hear you have had any negative experience with us. We recommend that a homeowner be on the property to be able to view any needed repairs. If your baffles were concrete, then it would have been recommended to change them to PVC baffles. I would like to further look into your concerns and confirm our technician's diagnosis. Please contact our office and ask for the Customer Relations Manager so I may help you. Thank you for your feedback.
We received an email requesting that we visit this site and give a review of this company. Frankly, I have never heard of this company, don't think we have done business with them, and have to wonder why we would be asked to review them.

Please accept our apologies. It seems there may have been a mix up. Thank you for the feedback to let us know.
The service from Rooter Plus has been the best professional and careful service rendered to us since we have been living in our house. We got estimation from another plumber before contacting Rooter Plus which service we used more than a year earlier. The workers are knowledgeable and explain thoroughly what they decide to do to us before proceeding. I recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

We are disappointed to hear that you felt our pricing was more than expected. However, our policy is always to have your approval before beginning any job so you know the price upfront and can make a decision from there. We charge a flat rate to auger a toilet regardless of the contents of the clog. Our Customer Relations Manager has attempted to recontact you regarding your concern. Please give us a call if you have any questions. Thank you for your feedback.
I'm talking about myself! A friend of mine installs septic tanks - just doesn't clean them. He told me not to call but I did anyway. So, I just needed my tank pumped because our toilet had a faulty valve, ran, and filled up the tank. They said that if I didn't pay $1900 for a "Gravel System Treatment" that they would report me to EPA. AND that if I got it pumped again (instead of paying the almost 2000bux) that the EPA would come shut my house down. The guy got an attitude as I started questioning everything. One of the most important things here is the fact that the chemicals they claim to use DON'T EXIST!!! They tried to charge an extra 100 because the water was above some imaginary line. Then I let them know that it was a 750 gallon tank and not an 1100 gallon. So they charged me the $195 plus a $5.75 Environmental Fee (which doesn't exist) plus $18.50 Fuel Surcharge (whatever that is). Grand total of 219.25 - I gave them 220 and as I type this... They didn't give me my change. They didn't even wear rubber gloves!! It was disgusting!! I feel for those of you that got taken for more money. I just hope they somehow don't get my house shut down.

We want to be able to help you with any concerns you had with your service. Unfortunately, without any specifics of this job site it is hard to be able to respond to your specific situation. It does seem like there was some miscommunication regarding our procedures. If you would like to call in to our office, our Customer Relations Manager is here to listen to any of your concerns. Thank you for your feedback.
I wish that I would have read the reviews before I let Rooter Plus come out to my house. It's so true that they quoted me a price of $195 for a 1000 gallon tank, but charged an extra $100 because the waste was slightly over the sewer line. They also charged an extra $70 for supposely an extra 60 ft of hose. He said that my septic tank was in complete failure and wanted to replace a pipe and use a chemical treatment to kill the roots. I noticed every few minutes the guy kept knocking on the door adding additional cost for this, that and the other. He ended up quoting me a price of $1950 for everything. They tried to offer me financing after I told told him that I didn't have that kind of money. I ended up paying $389 for them pumping a 1000 gallon septic tank. I didn't let them replace the pipe, if it needs to be replace, I won't be calling them. The coupons on their website is a joke. He said that I couldn't use it with the septic tank because they have to stay competitive with their price.

We quote $195 for up to 1000 gallons and $295 for up to 1500 gallons. If your tank is full beyond operating level in a 1000 gallon tank, the latter quote would apply. The cost of the extra hoses would have been quoted to you upfront with the option of you to decline the services all together. Our technicians always notify you of any problem with your septic system during the process. You then as the homeowner, have the power to decline any services as you did. I apologize for your experience. If you would like, please contact our office so our Customer Relations Manager can look into your specific job site to better address any of your concerns. Thank you for your feedback.
I wish I had read the reviews before calling them. They came out and pumped my holding tank and my pumping tank...yes, the pumping tank, which had about 4 inches of water in it. Shame on me for not knowing that a pumping tank is where the water goes to be pumped uphill, and if it were full, then it'd be faulty. But a few inches is normal. They charged me an extra $195 for that, on top of the $295 for the holding tank. The "coupon" I got from the internet didn't get me any discount -- it's $295 and $195 whether you have a coupon or not -- that's deceptive in my book. They also told me I needed $3000 worth of "repairs." Fortunately, I declined and got a second opinion. The second opinion said I needed no repairs and, he was incredulous that they charged me anything at all to pump the pumping tank. I'll know better next time. Hold your nose at these guys.

We would really like to review your specific situation and concerns. Please call our office and ask to speak to the Customer Relations Manager so we can look into your job site. Thank you for your feedback.
They are a very unprofessional company with rude technicians. I paid $5800 to have my field line relocated and was told that they would regrade my yard to even it out. Six weeks later, their rude technician told me no. I have dips and crevices all over my yard. Not safe for kids. Will never use again.

Since your posting we went through extensive conversations to ensure you were completely satisfied. As said when we spoke, we deeply apologize if anybody with our company was ever rude to you in any way. That is definitely not our company policy or procedure. All of the dips and crevices have been smoothed out, the yard reseeded, and straw was laid throughout the yard as well. We appreciate your feedback and you giving us the opportunity to make things right with you. Please do not hesitate to call the Customer Relations Manager here at the office if you ever have any other questions or concerns. Thank you!
Our water heater ruptured in the crawlspace of our home. Rooter Plus came highly recommended by another trusted vendor and I now know why. Plumber Sam arrived within a couple of hours of my call. He assessed the situation, sat down with me at my kitchen table and explained in great detail what needed to be done and what options were available. He started work right away and even fielded some follow-up questions from me today. A representative from Rooter Plus called today just to make sure that I'd had a great experience. I highly recommend them.

We appreciate you kind comments and we are glad we were able to help you in your time of need. Please never hesitate to call our Customer Relations Manager if you should ever have any additional questions about your plumbing or anything else. Thank you!
Unfortunately I called rooted plus for a problem with an odor coming from my septic tank. Like many other customers, I'm afraid that I was scammed. Shame on me for not doing more research up front and shame on them for taking advantage of a widow. I was also told that I had sludge in my lines and that my options were to either get new lines dug or treat them with chemicals, I ended up being charged 2500 for the chemicals, which I suspect we're not even needed and probably will not correct the problem.

We arrive at a home to do as a customer request. Unfortunately, a septic system is underground and cannot be diagnosed over the phone. If you would like to discuss any additional repairs that were diagnosed and recommended for your system, please contact our office and ask for the Customer Relations Manager. We will be glad to help you with any of your concerns. We appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
my name is l. terry and i'm sharing an experience i had with rooter plus this month.I was charged for a baffle& filter for my septic tank that i didn't need and when i reported this to mrs wiggins at rooter plus she immediately researched my account and found that they had installed a new baffle & filter in 2007..
