We love our environment and are taking steps to help keep it healthy. We now use electronic medical records and e-prescribing prescription medication. We use rechargeable batteries and recycled materials whenever possible. Finally, we have a lobby dedicated to nature complete with lots of sunshine and a koi pond.
Dr. Moore, Dr. Jewell, and Leah Pombo are all wonderful. I saw all three during my pregnancy. They are very competent, caring, and personable. I was sick most of my pregnancy and had a higher risk... pregnancy due to an auto-immune disorder and they cared very well for me and my daughter. Dr. Moore delivered my daughter and both my husband and I were very impressed with his skill level and the way he expressed genuine concern for us. I highly recommend them.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I cannot say enough good things about this practice! I LOVE the small feel - they are great about remembering you, referring to previous appointments, and you are not just a number to them! Dr.... Moore, Dr. Jewell, and NP Leah are all as nice, patient, and helpful as can be! I have NEVER felt rushed during an appointment, always get my questions answered, and always feel that my body and time are treated with respect. Especially if you are pregnant and looking for an OB that you are comfortable with to deliver your baby - these are the people! They have an amazing 3D ultrasound machine, they do more ultrasounds than normal, and the front desk staff, nurses, and phlebotomist (important!) are excellent - professional, but very laid back and friendly.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Dr. Moore and Dr. Jewell are hands down the best doctors I've ever had. They run an extremely efficient practice. I've gone through 2 pregnancies there and never had to wait more than 10 min. In fact, I usually don't even have a chance to sit down before being called back. They explain everything really well, make you feel completely comfortable, are personable and likeable, and don't rush through your appointment. When I call the nurse's line with an issue, it's often the doctors, themselves, who call me back to discuss symptoms. Their practice really puts others to shame, and I'm spoiled now. I'm sure there are other obgyn's in Atlanta who are good, but I honestly can't imagine there are any as good as Dr. Moore and Dr. Jewell.
I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experience has been with this one of a kind doctor. I have recently moved to Atlanta from California (November 2006) and have had a difficult time finding doctors in Georgia. From my short but terrifying experience I have realized that most doctors in Georgia want to overcharge and give less service. Dr Moore is quite the opposite and has been fantastic and made me feel very comfortable on each and every visit and every call I have made, has been returned promptly and directly from Dr Moore. After losing my health insurance at the beginning of my pregnancy I was introduced to his private plan for patients which is more than affordable and less than I would pay for any personal health plan. I cannot brag enough about this doctor and would gladly recommend him to any and everybody!!
This is my first pregnancy and I am very pleased with Dr. Moore and his office. Everyone is friendly and I feel confident that Dr. Moore does what is best for my baby and me. He is patient with any questions and concerns I have. I highly recommend him.
We are going to Dr. Moore for our first pregnancy (currently ~30 weeks). As a pharmacist I have a good enough understanding of medicine to be an annoying patient with lots of questions. He has always taken time to answer both mine and my wife's questions. His staff has also been very nice and accommodating as well. He provides 4D ultrasounds (moving 3D image) and he can record it on a DVD for you. This is great to send to family that is out of town. Overall, he is a smart, patient, and respectable doctor. Tip: Morning appointments get you in and out fast.
Iím so glad I trusted my care and delivery to Dr. Moore and his staff. I found his practice online and went to him because he was close to my job. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I was in his office. His staff has always been kind and accommodating. They are friendly and seem to love their jobs. The office wait times were always reasonable and I never sat in the exam room undressed and waiting for very long. Even if the wait was longer itís worth it. His practice was the complete opposite of my previous OB/GYN on the east side of town where I live. They had 5 doctors in the practice and the wait time was always over an hour just to get into an exam roomÖ. I rather drive 40 minutes to receive the kind of care Iíve received with Dr. Moore. Dr. Moore is always open to any questions. When I asked for it, he gave me good advice about everything from my gestational diabetes to information on handling my maternity leave at work. In the hospital he was a welcome face in a sea of strangers, was friendly with my family, filled out my last minute paperwork on the spot and had a great sense of humor when my baby boy peed on him as he was born! I referred a friend to Dr. Moore recently and she has become a patient and has enjoyed her experience as well. Doctor Moore, you and your crew are AWESOME, donít let anyone tell you different! ~ Kimberly R.
We discovered Dr. Moore on Kudzu when we first became pregnant. Dr. Moore has delivered all of our children. He is a fabulous OBGYN, very personable, and one we will certainly continue to use. The wait time in office leaves something to be desired, but we wouldn't entrust another childbirth to anyone else. Oh - and did I mention the 4D ultrasound photos? Dr. Moore has great technology that is fun, free, and fascinating.
Let me say I totally agree with the long wait times. I hate waiting at the doctor's office myself. I have found that in the baby business there are frequent minor emergencies (bleeding, threatened miscarriage, preterm labor) and even big emergencies (like a baby on the way or fetal distress) that have to take priority over scheduled appointments. To remedy this situation I have hired a new doctor who is coming in October 2009. She is great and will be a welcome addition to my practice. More about Dr. Stacy Boulton in the weeks to come.
I am so pleased with the way my experience turned out with Dr. Moore's practice. My son was delivered on 9/12 and although Dr. Moore was not available to deliver him, the on call doctor, Dr. Anderson was wonderful. The care that Dr. Moore provided up until delivery was phenominal. My husband and I are both grateful to Dr. Moore for assisting us with making this a great experience. Our son Picard is a joy and the care we received during pregnancy enabled us have very few worries. Thanks Dr. Moore!
I could not endorse Dr. Moore more than I do. He is a wonderful, fun, informed, conscientious, exceptional doctor. He is very capable as an M.D., but he is also a parent and a human being. I have always felt at ease with him at the helm. The women I have recommended, high risk or not, could not agree more. His practice is still small and his staff is friendly. You can't go wrong, when you meet him, you will know. Godspeed.
Thanks Rebekah. It really means a lot for people to take the time to leave these reviews. I hope you and your family are doing well. -dr moore
Dr. Moore is very professional, nice friendly staff, clean office. After a wonderful experience with the delivery of my first child by Dr. Moore I was thrilled to be able to return to him for the delivery of my son 3 years later. I would definately refer friends to him.
I am a new patient of Dr. Moore's, and after just one appointment, I am thrilled with his office! I switched after having some issues with a larger practice, and I cannot begin to emphasize the difference in going with Dr. Moore. He is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Being a smaller office, I am very pleased with the personal attention and EASE OF APPOINTMENT-MAKING! (Big difference from my last OBGYN's office.) Also, Dr. Moore does his own ultrasounds in the office, so you don't have to jump through hoops to find a time on a particular day of the week when a tech will be available--and a time that about 50 other pregnant women are competing for! Another plus: PARKING IS FREE! Dr. Moore's office isn't exactly the closest or most convenient for me to get to, but I don't mind because it is worth the drive!
I was looking for a new doctor that was near my house and that delivered at Northside Hospital and that I would be comfortable enough with to deliver my future children. (My husband and I are planning on starting a family soon) I found Dr. Moore on Kudzu and I was thrilled with his rating and all the good things that his patients had to say about him so I decided to make an appt. and meet him for myself. Dr. Moore met and exceeded all of my expectations for a doctor! He was very kind, answered all of my questions, and addressed any concerns that I had. I also liked the fact that he is young and up to date on the latest medicine/practices. I am very glad that I found him and I am definitely going to keep him as my OB when I become pregnant. I DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone in search of a new doctor! You will not be disappointed!
I have read several of these reviews and can not begin to fathom how someone could think that Dr. Moore isn't the most professional doctor!! He is absolutely amazing and I wouldn't change doctor's for the world. I have the highest regard for him. Not one question that we have had has gone unanswered nor have we ever been made to feel uncomfortable for anything! We are being induced on May 22nd, but that was ultimately our decision. The offer was put on the table in order to have Dr. Moore present at the delivery and not an on call doctor. Dr. Moore is amazing and will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable!!!
I was very nicely surprised by how much time Dr. Moore spent with me during my first visit there. He answered all my questions and even recommended an additional blood test Ė one I was dragging to do for a couple of years. Everybody there is very friendly and understanding. Dr. Moore is also very accommodating with his schedule. Definitely recommended!
Both my sister and I have had our babies delivered with Dr. Moore and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere! Pregnancy is a stressful time and having a good doctor makes all of the difference. My sister is pregnant with her third child and relieved to be delivering her baby once again with Dr. Moore. We have both experienced other ob/gyn doctors and none were near the level of skill and quality of Dr. Moore and his staff. In my first pregnancy, I had placenta previa and my husband and I were extremely nervous. I changed to Dr. Moore's office at 5 months pregnant and was not disappointed. He monitored my entire pregnancy via 3-D ultrasound and knowledgeably addressed each and every concern. I have a tendency to worry a lot during my pregnancies! I appreciated that Dr. Moore never made me feel foolish or silly for my concerns, as some doctors have in the past. It is important to realize that no person or doctor is perfect, and every pregnancy is different, as well. That being said, if I have to wait an extra 10 minutes in the waiting room, because my Doctor is taking good care of his other patients, it doesn't bother me. He will do the same with me. Doctor Moore ALWAYS took time with me and that is definitely worth the occasional wait. I felt I was in good hands in his care and would highly recommend him to other pregnant women.

I completely understand emergencies and from this experience just learned a lesson to 'not try and fix what is not broken' in terms of changing drs. Since I was referred by a relative, I was kind of shocked that I didn't recieve any direct type of correspondence with an apology or at least acknowledgement of my situation (other than the response on Kudzu). Also, I had scheduled 1 1/2 hrs to physically be in the office for this visit--I had to be back at noon to work and knew that wasn't happening. I nor anyone I have discussed this with believes I have 'unrealistic expectations' at all. It has never taken me longer than that for a visit with an obgyn in the past. This does not necessarily reflect on the doctor, but I was embarrased and offended by the way I was spoken to by the receptionist. Regardless I am sure Dr Moore is a good dr... Just not a wonderful experience w/staff on my end unfortunately. I am very happy to hear the situation is being addressed with the office staff member.
Let me begin by saying NEVER is it acceptable for my office staff to be rude to patients. That being said, let me expound on this incident. This patient booked a new patient appointment at 10:30 and informed my staff she had to be back to work at 11:15. If she had walked in my door, immediately left a urine sample, had vital signs taken, sat in my office to explain her medical history and current problem (remember she is a new patient), gotten undressed, been examined... (you get the point) it is unlikely that she could have left my office by 11:00 to be back to work on time (assuming there is no Atlanta traffic and she works close by). I think she set herself up with unrealistic expectations and no one could live up to them. Now, I deal with medical conditions and sometimes emergencies arise. On this particular day, one of the pregnant women who went before her happened to be bleeding and needed to be seen immediately. Anyways, I hate waiting at the doctors office and try very hard to stay on time... but emergencies happen, sometimes an appointment takes longer than we scheduled... and I get behind. This person who works in doctors offices should know this. I realize that you have more contact with my staff than me and strive to have an excellent staff. I will not tolerate rudeness and will deal with this situation. Finally I did not call to apologize because this person within hours of the appointment posted this public bashing of me on the internet. I do not take kindly to my good name getting trashed and am glad this person has decided to go elsewhere for healthcare.
