At Appalachian Tree service, we're constantly implementing new strategies for becoming more environmentally responsible. We are excited about a new opportunity to bring all our tree debris to a green energy plant to help create clean burning energy.
Extremely impressed with Sean and Ryan. Very professional and courteous. They were also very flexible with my schedule. The crew came in and they were fast, efficient and did an excellent job. ... While they were here, a neighbor was so impressed with their work that they hired them to do a job for them. I will never use another tree company again. In addition, their prices are extremely reasonable. Their quotes were fractions of what some other company wanted to charge us.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Ryan and his crew did an excellent job in removing a 70 foot oak tree, gridding the stump, cleaning the area around the tree, and removing all of the debris. Most importantly they showed up on time and finished very quickly. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely use them again (hopefully not anytime soon). TIP: Make sure you add them to your facebook to redeem great savings!
ATS was prompt, professional, quick, and did exactly what we wanted. The price for what was done was unbelievable. Thanks fellas!
What can't you say about these guys and their crew? Sooo professional from the first phone call to every detail of the job. My husband and I had 3 Dogwoods, bushes, Cypress, and a very large twin Sweet Gum tree(about 75 ft.) removed. Some of our fears included double tree near new deck, bird in the bush with eggs, reliability, and cost. These guys handled everything so precisely, down to cutting around the nest in the bush, to save the eggs. They are a truly upstanding crew. My husband is a northern boy. Even he was impressed with their quality of business. Without a doubt, Appalachian Tree Service knows their business and how to treat their customers. I highly recommend them to any and all. Their cost wasn't the most expensive and it wasn't the cheapest. But after doing alot of research, we found cheaper normally had background stories to go with the price. Do yourself a favor and at least get a quote from them, and you will immediately see the difference. Thanks for a great job done!
This is the second time I've used these guys and I will continue to use them again. They are safe, fully insured, very professional and very competitively priced. They are neat and clean-up the site leaving no mess at all! Highly recommend this team!
Appalachian Tree Experts was one of the best contractor experiences I have every had. They did a great job at a great price. Ryan and Dave were very friendly and best of all they did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would. I highly recommend calling them for your tree service needs. I will use them again.
Dave and Ryan are *very* attentive to your requirements. They certainly went the extra mile getting the project done in a small window of time between rainy days. They and their crew were polite and efficient. Absolutely no debris was left behind. If you need trees taken down or a wooded area cleaned out (we needed both), don't hesitate to give Appalachian a call!

Appalachian Tree Service did a outstanding job. From the moment I called them they did not disappoint. I checked quotes from two other tree services and they gave us the best price. They got the job done quickly, and did an outstanding job cleaning up. Highly recommended and I would only use them again.
My husband and I Googled tree services in Woodstock and chose three companies to do free estimates for trimming and brush removal. Ryan and Dave from Appalachian met and mostly exceeded all our expectations. Prompt with communicating, concise with explanations, and thorough with their work - I will be calling them again!
Based on other reviews, I chose these guys to trim a couple large pines in my front yard and remove one in the back yard. They showed up on time, ensured that their crew understood what I wanted, and took care of the job at a very fair price. They are at the top of my list next time I need similar work done and recommend them to others.
Ryan was on time, business like, and professional. I especially appreciate the estimate quote and insurance verification that was emailed to me. The Appalachian Tree Service crew was on time, worked with great care for my house and yard, and cleaned up everthing. I think this crew went above and beyond what one would expect. Besides working carefully, the cost was resonable. I highly recommend Applachian Tree Service.
Showed up late, didnt finish the job, left the place a mess, the tree guys were either drunk or on some sort of drugs. I know have to find someone reputable to do the job. Dont believe everything you read in the comments, they must be able to delete the bad ones.
Had App Tree Service provide a face lift to 9 trees. Excellent service. On time. Cleaned up well!
Amazing Services are hard to come by these days. Two weeks ago we noticed our five trees in our back yard were infested with bugs. I was planning to cut them down in the Fall due to current family budget, but a local man and woman came to my house and presented a solution to cut down the trees dirt cheap. They showed and said they had insurance. We trusted them. Long story short, we got screwed. They damaged other healthy trees and my fence. Fortunately, they missed our house. I went onto Kudzu and found Appalachian Tree Service. Ryan was extremely professional and willing to go the extra mile to earn my business. They cleaned up everything after they were done and stacked a little bit of wood for our fire pit. In addition, they helped clean up the mess from the local morons that first tried to complete the project.
Arrived for the estimate appt. when he said he would (called to say he would be 10 min late). Great estimate, great honest advice. Guys showed up on time the next day (did the job the next day, since they were in the area). Great, careful work - even cleaned up the driveway (looked better after they left than before). Will definitely use again and recommend!

I just had Appalachian Tree Service prune my birch tree in my front yard. In addition, they also took out some bushes and a small tree in my back yard. They were efficient, clean, courteous and it was done in record time. I am extremely happy with the job they did!

We had Appalachian remove 35+ large trees, mostly pine, from our backyard at the end of January 2010. This was a big job with difficult access to the backyard with extremely large pines within feet of our house. The crew worked extremely hard for 5 days and was very flexible when we added trees to take down along the way. Thanks, Dave!
