Septic systems are a serious source of groundwater contamination. Septic systems are designed to drain away human waste underground at a slow, harmless rate. An improperly designed, located, constructed, or maintained septic system can leak bacteria, viruses, household chemicals, and other contaminants into the groundwater causing serious problems. It is recommended that you have your septic tank pumped and inspected every 3 to 5 years. RooterPLUS! - helping keep Gerogia's groundwater safe.
They gave me an outrages quote. I refuse they came back at half price. Never again. Pick someone else if u want someone who will give u a fair price from the start. He did good work but why say u are... going to charge me 395 then after I show you it's not worth it you ask for 165. That's crazy.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Good luck actually getting a $175 service! I spoke with them prior to coming out, told them my septic tank was full and I would need an extra hose because of distance, price was agreed to and when... they came out it was like the world had ended because my tank was full. Of course I had to have the "crust buster" service which was an additional fee...the crust buster is a weed whacker with a rubber paddle and they ran it for 3 minutes (I timed them). They cleaned the crust buster on my lawn and left the debris, left cigarette butts and did not fill the hole back in. Called to complain and was told a supervisor would call back. I never heard from them. Do not use these guys.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Alvin and Jimbo were very informative and friendly. They explained everything before hand and did a really good job. Thanks.
Our system was installed in 1975. We bought the house in 1993. Being first time homeowners, we ignored the septic system. It backed up in 2004 and Rooter Plus fixed it and installed some components to bring it up to current code. We were happy and ignored the system until yesterday. It started to act up again. Rooter Plus was going to try to come out yesterday, but was not able to until today. They pumped out the system, cleaned and treated the field lines. They did NOT attempt to tell me that I needed to replace the whole system. I appreciate the honesty. I feel an unscrupulous company would push me to replace a 38 year old system. I know who I'm calling next time.
We are here to make sure each individual customer gets what they need for their individual homes needs. We are so glad that you chose RooterPLUS and your system is up and running as it should be. Please don't hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions or need anything at all. Thank you for your kind feedback! ~Your Customer Relations Manager
1st and foremost septic problems are never fun, but yesterday I came home and discovered that my yard smelled terrible and I noticed some bubbling occurring thru all the rain. We had our septic system cleaned years back and could not remember whom we had used-so we began calling around to get some quotes and to our surprise we received many recordings, rather than live people. Then we called RooterPLUS and they answered right away. my husband was so pleased to learn that it was RooterPLUS which we had used 5 years back. They were even able to pull us up in their database as a prior customer. We were scheduled for the next morning. Well today we met George and Allen- and they could not of been any more professional, courteous and very informative. They did not rush our job and showed my husband all the causes of our problem. Needless to say we will never forget whom we use for our septic issues, and will use RooterPlus for any future needs including any others which may arise in their other service areas of expertise. Thank you again for your prompt service and very reasonable pricing!!! Forever a customer! Santos Family

Our goal is that all of our customers are educated about their septic system and know we are always here to help with any questions to assist you for your plumbing, septic, heating, and air needs! George and Allen say "Thank you" for your kind words. We are honored to have you as a customer! Thank you! ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
The tech Chad Robinson was very courteous and fast. My leak was fixed within minutes, really impressed.
Thank you very much for trusting RooterPLUS! for your plumbing needs!
This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They advertise free estimate and $195 special, then add extra fees. The manager went on a tirade about how they do not make money charging only $195 and have to find other problems to stay in business. Bad reviews on all websites. Beware.
When our technician arrived at the home he could see some symptoms of a possible septic issue. Our certified technician informed you that only pumping the tank may not be sufficient for your system to be in proper working condition before he began any work. You requested to know the possibilities and our technician provided that to you. Unfortunately, we cannot give a full estimate for underground problems that cannot be seen. You were given this information upfront at no charge to you. We offer the low price of $195 to assist you as a homeowner in keeping up with required maintenance for your home. We are always here to answer any of your concerns and strive to improve customer service and satisfaction each and every day. Thank you for your feedback. ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
Daniel from RooterPlus was professional, knowledgable, and courteous during the entire project. Always mindful of challenges that come up during a repair, Daniel always consulted with me before moving forward. He performed the job in just an afternoon, and was able to beat almost every competitor's price I'd researched. I would call him again if I ever need plumbing services.
Thank you AtlantaNewsGuy! We appreciate your kind words and are honored you choose RooterPLUS! as your plumbing, septic, heating, and air experts! I will forward you review to Daniel as well. Don't hesitate to give us a call if you ever have any questions. We are here to help. Happy Holidays! ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
I cannot personally speak about their fees, because I am a tenant where their services were acquired. A leak sprung from a bathtub on the second floor of our rental 'after property management hours', Charles was dispatched and came promptly to 'verify' a leak had occurred and ensured no additional water/damage would occur until a secondary plumber could come out (on behalf of the homeowners insurance).. The following day, the second plumber came out and diagnosed the valve needed to be replaced which he could not do since the insurance did not cover this. DAY THREE: Charles from Rooter Plus returned, ignorant because the property management company did not fill out his work order properly. Charles went above & beyond by calling the management company's after hours line and to obtain direct authorization to fix the valve and the drain directly from the homeowner. Sadly, Charles did not have the valve on his truck and would need to come back. Before leaving he said he had a 6 hour job to complete the next morning and would be over immediately after. DAY FOUR! (Not gonna lie, I was agrivated AND STINKY, and felt like a prisioner, waiting on contractors} Apparently there was a miscommunication of some kind because Charles didn't show up until after 5:00pm... He got the tub fixed and did a GREAT job! He was very nice, even when I was grouchy, had a great attitude. I can't thank him enough!
We are so glad that Charles provided you with the awesome service you deserve! Homeowner and tenant situations can sometimes be a little more tricky with communicating back and forth between the different parties. Despite that, I'm glad RooterPLUS! got the job done for you as quickly as possible. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you ever have any questions. I will make sure Charles knows how happy you are with his service. Thank you! ~ Very truly, Your Customer Relations Manager
It's a wonder this company is still in business with all the bad reviews it's gotten. I called Rooter Plus to give me a free estimate at my rental property for a broken sewer pipe leading into the county's sewer pipe. The pipe was located over a creek at the back of my property. Chris came out, looked at it and said that they would probably have to dig up my backyard from the creek to the house, which is the better part of an acre, replace the whole sewer line and that it was going to be a couple of thousand and that I needed to get it fixed quick or the county would fine me heavily. He said he would come out the next day with his boss and call me with a true estimate of the job. My tenant calls me the next afternoon and tells me the county is at my property along with Chris, the plumber. Long story short, Chris blew the whistle on me to the county to try and intimidate me to give Rooter Plus the job immediately. He even encouraged the county workers to fine me while they were on the property. The county techs told me all this and they said the pipe was not as bad as Chris was making it to be and they refused to fine me. The estimate given by Rooter Plus? $5,800. I almost told him to shove that! I got another plumber that did the job for $1,200 without all the damage to my property. I am a teacher and I know plenty of people and parents in the metro area and I will spread the word about the shady practices of this company. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING
Our technician recommended that your entire line be replaced due to the environmental hazards imposed to the creek on your property. Our intention was not to "blow the whistle" as you say. The job required a permit and permits are acquired through the county in which you reside. Special measure must be taken to protect any body of water especially when a sewer line is broken within it. Our quote was to replace your line from the house to the creek with 4" cast iron piping with no joints, install 2 clean outs for maintenance access, permit, and provide river stone to prevent soil erosion at the bank of the creek. As licensed plumbers we must adhere to plumbing code and protect our waterways from raw sewage. If you were able to hire another licensed plumber to do the same job with the proper permits and same warranty for less than we quoted that is great. Please do not hesitate to contact our office with any of your questions or concerns. Thank you! ~Your Customer Relations Manager
Came out to unclog a drain. 99.00 went up to 484.00. had to call them back in three weeks and was told that everything the first tech told me could not be verifed. (different tech showed up the second time) I was told I needed a different service.. 900.00. I had no choice because I had tenants in the house. I feel ripped off and would never use this company again and would tell others to stay far away
After some extensive conversations I believe we have come to an understanding of the charges you incurred. Unfortunately, the job at your rental home entailed more than what the guidelines are for our $99 Drain Cleaning Special stated on our website. Our second technician did attempt to clear your line for again at no charge. The full amount from your initial service was credited toward the additional work required to bring your sewer line to proper functioning and you approved this service before we began the work. We are appreciative of your feed back and I am glad I could help you sort out your concerns. Your additional credit of $200 is being processed as an effort to complete your satisfaction as our customer. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions. Thank you! ~Your Customer Relations Manager
Rooter Plus was here when they said they would and I asked for a specific technician and he came ontime both times. He was knowledgable and courteous. I learned a lot from him enough to be dangerous now. I would use Rooter Plus again, recommend them because of Kevin Barrett's A1 customer service.
Thank you very much!! Kevin Barrett is an excellent plumber and I'm glad he was able to give you so much information about your home! Please don't ever hesitate to give us a call night or day! We are honored that you have chosen RooterPLUS! to be your preferred plumbing, septic, heating, and air professionals! Thank you! Very truly ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
Rooterplus was called to pump septic tank for a tenant. We were told the fee was $195 with no additional fees. After they arrived, we were told we need additional work including baffles being replaced, field lines being either cleaned or replaced . They charged us an extra $200 that day to "clean front baffle". The extra work we were told we needed all added up to between $3879 and $5500.We didn't go and check this out in person but they showed us pictures. Pictures could have been from anyone's septic system. Needless to say we wanted a second opinion. This time we personally went to the property to see what was up. It turns out that we did NOT need new baffles. The existing were still intact and working fine. The field lines were not clogged up and were also working fine. So if Rooterplus tries to sell you a line for huge bucks, spend an extra $100 or so to get a second opionion..It saved us from spending thousands of dollars.
I apologize for the inconveniences this has caused you. We are disappointed to hear you have had any negative experience with us. We recommend that a homeowner be on the property to be able to view any needed repairs. If your baffles were concrete, then it would have been recommended to change them to PVC baffles. I would like to further look into your concerns and confirm our technician's diagnosis. Please contact our office and ask for the Customer Relations Manager so I may help you. Thank you for your feedback.
We received an email requesting that we visit this site and give a review of this company. Frankly, I have never heard of this company, don't think we have done business with them, and have to wonder why we would be asked to review them.
Please accept our apologies. It seems there may have been a mix up. Thank you for the feedback to let us know.
I am in property management and Rooter is my go to company for all the plumbing and HVAC needs we have. Super responsive!!
We are proud to service all of your plumbing & HVAC needs! Thank you for your kind words. Most of all, thank you for continuing to choose RooterPLUS! Very truly ~ Your Customer Relations Manager
The service from Rooter Plus has been the best professional and careful service rendered to us since we have been living in our house. We got estimation from another plumber before contacting Rooter Plus which service we used more than a year earlier. The workers are knowledgeable and explain thoroughly what they decide to do to us before proceeding. I recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
Thank you for your very kind words about RooterPLUS! We pride ourselves on providing you with professional and knowledgeable technicians. Can you please let us know which technician provided such awesome service for you? You can let us know here or give us a call and ask for the Customer Relations Manager. Thank you again!
They charged me $271.00 to unclog my office toilet that had nothing in it but paper!! SHAME on you!!
We are disappointed to hear that you felt our pricing was more than expected. However, our policy is always to have your approval before beginning any job so you know the price upfront and can make a decision from there. We charge a flat rate to auger a toilet regardless of the contents of the clog. Our Customer Relations Manager has attempted to recontact you regarding your concern. Please give us a call if you have any questions. Thank you for your feedback.
I'm talking about myself! A friend of mine installs septic tanks - just doesn't clean them. He told me not to call but I did anyway. So, I just needed my tank pumped because our toilet had a faulty valve, ran, and filled up the tank. They said that if I didn't pay $1900 for a "Gravel System Treatment" that they would report me to EPA. AND that if I got it pumped again (instead of paying the almost 2000bux) that the EPA would come shut my house down. The guy got an attitude as I started questioning everything. One of the most important things here is the fact that the chemicals they claim to use DON'T EXIST!!! They tried to charge an extra 100 because the water was above some imaginary line. Then I let them know that it was a 750 gallon tank and not an 1100 gallon. So they charged me the $195 plus a $5.75 Environmental Fee (which doesn't exist) plus $18.50 Fuel Surcharge (whatever that is). Grand total of 219.25 - I gave them 220 and as I type this... They didn't give me my change. They didn't even wear rubber gloves!! It was disgusting!! I feel for those of you that got taken for more money. I just hope they somehow don't get my house shut down.
