Green Credentials

Septic systems are a serious source of groundwater contamination. Septic systems are designed to drain away human waste underground at a slow, harmless rate. An improperly designed, located, constructed, or maintained septic system can leak bacteria, viruses, household chemicals, and other contaminants into the groundwater causing serious problems. It is recommended that you have your septic tank pumped and inspected every 3 to 5 years. RooterPLUS! - helping keep Gerogia's groundwater safe.

ON TIME, HONEST, AND PROFESSIONAL, 9/20/2014

Jon from Rooter Plus arrived on time, gave me a honest quote, and cleaned both of my septic tanks per book. I would not hesitate recommending him to my neighbors. He went well above norm to do an... excellent job.

WORST SERVICE EVER, 6/07/2014

I live in Marietta, GA and I called this company back in February to unstop my toliet. I was told that I was covered under a 1 year warranty. I called today because my toliet stopped up again and... was told it was no longer under warranty after 3 months. The guy was very rude and not professional and stated that he can not come unclog my toliet every week!! Needless to say I am looking into legal matters because if you provide a service and have a warranty you should honor it.. I will NEVER EVER use their service again. I paid 170.00 and the guy stayed 5 mins when he came and obvious did not do a professional job because 2 days later he had to come back!!!

Rooter Plus is a ripoff

My septic tank backed up, so I called RooterPlus! to come out. The Plumber told me I needed new field lines for $6000, or, I could opt for field line and septic tank pumping for $3000, and hope for the best. I was really stuck, so I told them to go ahead, here is how my bill was given: pump tank $195 Crust Buster $225 Service Filter $125 Pump Field Lines $280 Oxidizer to treat field line $1625 Jet Main Line $320 Bio Tab $260 Total $3020 When I called several competitors, the consensus was that I had been had. Even with all of the above items, my bill should not have been over $1400. And, there was no way I needed new field lines since my house is less than 10 years old. I want the public to know about these rip off artists. I am in the process of asking for a refund now over the past two weeks, and whether I get one will say a lot for the honesty and integrity of the management. I will soon launch a web site so other angry customers can pool resources.

Worst in town. The bigger crooks in town.

The plumber was nice but crook. The price he quoted was 20 times more than it should. The plumber wanted to replace the heat water for $1584 when the only think should be replaced was a the thermostat. Thieves be careful from them.

If you use Rooter Plus YOU WILL LOSE

Do not call this company unless you want to get ripped off. They will give you a great price initially 229.00 to pump out the septic tank and then upcharge you for scud busters 250.00 line clean out 450.00, chemical treatment 3000.00. If you see your friends or neighbors using this company warn them. If you don't believe this post call rooter plus and asked them about their pricing... If you argue about their pricing after the work is done they will tell you that they will put a lien on your house.

RUN from Rooter Plus for ANY HVAC Problems!!

Called them in Nov. for a Heat Pump that was not heating in a rental townhouse I own. The Tech. came out and put 1 1/5 lbs of freon in it. He did not say there was a leak. When my tenant came home the house was 57. I called Brookyn again and she sent out the tech again. He stayed for 2 hours and couldn't figure out what was wrong. The next day I sent out another company that immediatley found a leak. They fixed it that day. I asked or a refund of the $125 of the $205 Invoice that I spent with Rooter Plus for the freon they put in that leaked out again. The Service Mgr., Brooklyn told me that she did NOT believe me that the other company fixed a leak, and that the heat strips were what I needed to replace. I said that the heat strips were working fine and the problem was a leak that I personally witnessed. She said that she believed her Tech., thus calling me a liar and hung up the phone on me. I never raised my voice or was disrespectful on the phone to her. What a TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT for the customer. I WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR H&A OR PLUMBING!!

"Nightmare Solved"

When my entire house backed up I assumed it was a problem with my septic system. I called rooterplus right away and they sent guy to check it out. It turned out my mainline was clogged. George was very helpful and knowledgeable. He jumped on the problem as soon as he got here. He pumped my tank and cleared my mainline and I haven't had any issues since. Thanks

Best Plumbing Experience Ever

I woke up to find my dishwasher had leaked everywhere. I did a search and randomly picked Rooter Plus. I called and the person I spoke with was very polite and competent. They had a plumber, Ryan, to my house within 45 minutes. Ryan was also extremely polite, competent, and was able to diagnose the problem within about 5 minutes. As it turned out, it wasn't a plumbing problem, it was a problem with part of the appliance itself. Ryan showed me what I needed and explained the problem in terms a non-specialist could understand. He had several places to recommend for me to call. And most surprising of all, there was no charge! I've never heard of a plumber coming out and not charging anything--at the very least for the time and gas used to diagnose the problem. I tipped him because I believed he should get something for his extraordinary service. And the next time I need, or think I need, a plumber, I'll be calling these guys! I highly recommend them.

Run! You can find better Cust. Service, trust me!

Septic tank problem started Saturday 10/17/09. The guys were great who responded and they did a great job. I paid over 3600.00 that day to have my lines flushed, tank drained, with an additional 850.00 deposit toward installation of a new septic tank costing 1700.00, so in other words, I did my part. The problems started after this. I needed a new septic tank installed, quickly because mine was cracked. 15 phone calls later (from me to them, trying to find out where they were), over 2 Months later, YES, I said 2 MONTHS later...(actually it has been 2 1/2 months now!) I have spoken with Jennifer, Tabitha, Christy, Dustin (manager), Cowboy, and Charlie (district manager), never once losing my cool, TRUSTING they would do the right thing and finish the job they started. It is now the end of December (remember this all started in October). Here I sit with a damaged front yard (the equipment got stuck when they changed out the tank on 11/18 which was 3 weeks later than promised), upset neighbors from the ugly mess, and still no resolution, my yard is a wreck. I understand that we have had an exceptional amount of rain this year, but for 5 weeks now my FRONT yard has been a total mess! What I do have from Rooter Plus is many, many, many unkept promises from them. This really stinks, I advise that run far away from doing business here , you can do better than this. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. It simply isn't right, they have treated me very poorly.

Rooter Plus is a scam

Expert scammers. Please beware once you agree to have them do the work for you, they are experts at sticking it to you. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! My wife called them and she was told we would get a high end water heater and the install would be $1050. They installed a $269 watter heater and charged us $450 for the water hearter, $200 in parts and $400 in labor for a 45 minute job. The parts were a scam, there was no special build out and maybe $20 in parts. Bottom line they rooked us for over $400 and when I told them to pull it out I was not about to pay, they told us it would be an additional $700 to do that. They are unethical business people that should be shutdown permanently. I have never felt so angry and vioated in my life. Avoid this company at all costs or they will do the same to you.

Just not a warm fuzzy

Our toilets began overflowing so we called Rooter Plus to check our septic. While I can't complain about the service, it just seemed a little uncomfortable. I got the feeling they were selling me on things I didn't understand and probably didn't really need. I don't know, I could be wrong. Perhaps it was just a personality thing. I just didn't feel good about the situation. It was too late to call someone else so I stuck with them. Ended up with a $1,300 bill to empty the septic, blow the lines and replace the baffle that looked ok to me but they told me needed replacing. I balked at the $1,200 drain field cleaning so that didn't happen. I'll probably go elsewhere next time.

Sewer line broke!

We had to have our old sewer line replaced and had a new toilet installed. All were very professional and courteous. From the receptionist to the manager (Steve) to the plumber, Steven H. I called around 10pm on a Friday night and he was out the next morning at 9am right on time. He gave me a price and did what he said he would do. He also cleaned up nicley. We will definitely use again when needed.

the best service exprience ever

rooter plus did wonderfull job replacing my field lines. They did a very professional job ,and was very courteous at all times. All their service members have a vast knowledge of what they are doing. Cowboy and his crew are great and very honest with pricing and stating the exact work that needs to be done. Also when they come to pump your septic they will not cut corners Billy gave the most reasonable quote of all the other companies resulting in the greatest quality. Thanks i would definetly do business with them again.

Suspicious and Deceptive Beware!!!

In addition to getting ripped off and almost getting cheated out of $12000 in my earlier posting below, I forgot to mention that I got talked into signing up for Rooter Plus Discount Club membership (which is a bunch of crap) to service my AC for about $200. Had I not done would have cost me about $200 more for the original repair, so what the heck I signed up. Big mistake!!! If you have guys like this show up and encourage these discounts membership, get them off the property. Once you sign up and let them service your AC, they will create additional repairs which are actually not required. It seems these plumbers work on commission basis and the more customers they sign up for these discounts means more $$$ for them. BEWARE!!!
