Reliable Heating & Air sells Energy Star rated equipment and recycles several tons of metal, steel, aluminum, copper, and cardboard each week. All r-22 (Freon) is recovered and turned into an EPA reclamation facility. All new equipment we sell and install uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R410a. Our technicians are EPA certified and trained in the proper handling and disposal of the HCFC R-22 (Freon).
We used a different company but felt like they were constantly trying to up sell with products and services. It got very frustrating and we felt like we could not trust them. My sister in law uses... Reliable so we decided to as well and I am really happy we did. We got an email letting us know our technician was on the way and a phone call as well, which is very nice as we have dogs and needed to put them up. Lawrence Overstreet was our technician as well as Kenneth Lee. They were both super friendly and talked to us about our system and the ducts. I really felt like I could trust them. They were knowledgeable and very helpful in deciding our future course of action. I will absolutely use Reliable again as well as recommend them to friends. It's really nice to know that we now have an HVAC company we can trust. Thank youVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Reliable continues to impress me with their customer service. They did my initial install of my new Trane system as well as my regular maintenance. My service tech Lawrence Overstreet and his... assistant Kenneth lee were very informative and punctual. I highly recommend Reliable for all of your heating and AC needs. Jake and Andrew were on time and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently. I appreciated the quick appointment that I received. And I didn't have to clean-up after them.
Lawrence Overstreet did a great job on the 6 month service on our 3 Trane dual fuel systems. Top Notch!!
I just felt the need to share my experience about this company (Reliable) and the technician that was sent to my home to service my HVAC unit. I had a young man, Miguel (Mike) Espino, who was the most courteous, professional, and knowledgeable technician that I have ever worked with. He explained everything he was doing and patiently answered every question I had. I was so impressed by his level of service that I will surely only use Reliable for any future needs and will refer on to anyone else with the need for their service. Technicians like Mike are a credit to the organization.
On Aug. 11th I had a routine check of my air conditioning system done by Reliable Air. The Reliable Tech was Lawrence Overstreet. He was personable, prompt, professional, and courteous and did a good job. Ė Canít ask for more than that.
Jake and Chad worked for hours tracking a bad circuit. They pulled and checked nearly a dozen fixtures and outlets. They ended up replacing a breaker and we are very pleased with their efforts.
We had a new electrical panel installed by Justin and Chris from this company. They were professional, courteous and everything works great! Justin even took time to help me figure out another electrical issue we were having....at no charge. Very nice young men and I would recommend this company to anyone.
Had Lawrence Overstreet. This guy is very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Overall this was excellent service, thanks!
I have the maintenance plan with the company and they come out twice a year. Today I was pleasantly surprised by my technician. He was a very knowledgable young man named William Minor. It was hot and humid outside but he was very pleasant and took time to answer all of my questions. Reliable keep hiring folks like this young man. He is an asset to any organization.
We have used Reliable twice for electrical service. First, we needed a dedicated 120 outlet with a 20amp breaker installed. Our electrician, Andrew, explained what was needed and gave us the best economical solution. Andrew is an easy going, kind, and thoughtful person and I felt immediately comfortable with him. Once we agreed on the work, he promptly showed the next day at our agreed time and completed the job as asked and on budget. The second time, I asked for Andrew specifically requesting he trouble-shoot a dead kitchen microwave outlet. Andrew took the time to find the issue (two outlets with burnt/loose connections) and make sure everything surrounding the issue was fixed and safe. When so often you worry about service work being completed correctly and at a reasonable price and when you can feel helpless waiting for a service person to show, Andrew the electrician and Reliable are breaths of fresh air. I would recommend him to anyone and will confidently use them again.
Just started my maintenance plan. My tech, William, was very thorough. He walked me through his procedures and didn't skimp on the advertised offerings.
I decided on Reliable Heating & Air based on the fantastic reviews, and that was a great decision. All the reviews are well deserved. Deon, my technician called ahead and arrived when he said he would. He was well prepared, extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. I'm asking for him for all my future appointments! GREAT JOB!!!
We had Lawrence Overstreet as our technician. He was great and the service was great! We give them a thumbs up!
Cain our Plumber was highly qualified !! Knew what he was talking about and was honest with us as we had already done a good percentage of the work !! Would definitely recommend Reliable Heating & Air !!
From No Follow up on the Sales Side, To the Install Tech Speaking out of Turn pertaining my marital status, To Not Scoping the ENTIRE Project, to Sharing my Personal Business with my EX HUSBAND!! Leaving trash and spray painting my window. And Finally Telling me that the Container of Freon I had already purchased that is was TO Late for them to use.. I didn't recommend them to my EX or to my neighbor that needed Full AC's this past week!! Buyers BEWARE
Thank you for your feedback and comments. We use positive and negative reviews to get better. I am not sure what was said to your ex-husband as I realize divorce is a very rough time for people to go through and many times, any discussion of anything can be misconstrued. More than once over 38 years we have installed a system in a home after a divorce and one spouse hires us and the other spouse actually lives in the home we are working at and this is a very interesting and tense install for all involved. I apologize for the crews not picking up all their packing and trash as they are trained to police the area and keep the jobsite clean and neat. We will gladly return and pick up any trash if you let us know your name and address. We canít use refrigerant/Freon provided by a customer in installing a new unit as we donít know what is actually in a can provided from an outside source and our prices already includes all the refrigerant needed to install a unit. You may have some of the old refrigerant called Freon, which todayís units no longer use and you may have had a container with contaminated gas in it, but regardless we are not allowed to reuse refrigerant by the EPA. The techs would not be allowed to use this and if we had been asked about this ahead of time, we would have told you about the inclusions on all refrigerant in our prices. We send a survey and thank letter to our customers, but your sales person should have also contacted you and I apologize for this oversight. Please contact us and we will clean up any paint which I am curious to know details about, as we do not normally paint anything on an air conditioner replacement. I can assure you no one meant to get involved in your personal life of your divorce and possibly the individual was just making, idle chat and should have simply not commented about anything. If you will contact Mark Wall and give him details, we will make the situation right and speak to the employee about his discussion topics. Thank you for your business and I am glad the unit is cooling well, as that is what all this is really aiming for. We are not perfect here at Reliable, but if our customer is not pleased, we will not stop trying to fix the issue until they are.
just used reliable for the first time and was very impressed. eric my technician was great! very professional and extremely friendly!
Today, Reliable Heating and Air lost a customer. On June 23 I made an appointment with an online representative and provided my name, email address, phone number, and address to pay them for a 1 year maintenance plan and to come out and service my unit and they said they were not available until July 29, but I decided to give them a try and wait a month. My Trane unit was installed by CoolRay but I wanted to use a certified Trane dealer. Today, July 28 I had not heard from them to confirm my appointment so I called them and they said my name, phone number, or address was "not in their system" and "there was nothing they could do". They never apologized or even offered to make it right, instead the operator hung up on me! I called CoolRay and they were very polite and helpful and now they are coming next week to service my unit. I have heard horrible things about Reliable and now I know they are true!
I apologize for this scheduling oversight, but more importantly, how it was handled by the customer service rep. I am not sure how a service call got lost or was not in our system, but regardless, the quick and efficient way to solve this would have been to simply put you back on the schedule and provided service the day you expected. I am going to find out why this was not done and correct the problem with the rep. If you do not mind, drop me an email with the reps name if you remember so I can fix the problem. In the meantime, the next time you need service, please give me a chance to provide it at no charge as a way to show you what type of service we provide. I think if you look at all of our 2000 plus reviews from our customers, you will find we are not a "horrible" company. I realize you wrote this when angry over our losing your records but when examined on the whole, you will see we are not perfect and do make mistakes, but we try hard to correct them and make them right and we do a very good job the first time, most of the time. If I find out an operator actually hung up on you, I will take swift corrective action. They are not allowed to end a call unless a customer is actually cursing at them personally. You will find many advantages using an actual Trane certified dealer to provide your service and not just a company who used to sell the brand. The company that installed your unit is a very good company but they are not an authorized Trane dealer and as such, will not have access to emergency parts and concessions should the need ever arise. I will go back and listen to the tapes if you can provide me the reps name or you phone number so I can locate the recoding. Once again, I apologize for the rep not thinking outside of the box. Thank you for your feedback, Dan Jape.
