I have seen all the doctors in the practice through this journey and would recommend all. Dr Perloe has been my main one, he is so knowledgeable, positive and kind. The staff has become an extended... family to us, they are always available and supportive. Our appointments are on time and we get the answers we need. They are nothing but an AMAZING TEAM!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I had the best experience with Dr. Namnoum and Tracey, her nurse, at their Piedmont location. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and intelligent, but they are also extremely... supportive and generous with their time and attention. I have never had a doctor and nurse who spent so much time with me and responded so quickly to questions (at all times of day), and they have even helped me after I left their care and went back to my OBGYN. We're excited to welcome our baby girl in November, and I will always feel like I owe them a great debt of gratitude for all they have done. I highly recommend Dr. Namnoum, Tracey, and the whole team at GRS.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
After years of disappointment with trying on our own, we decided to try fertility treatment. Sadly, after a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, failed IUIs and a failed IVF cycle, we felt as though we would never become parents. We initially worked with another fertility clinic with no success. The doctor made us feel like we were just another number. The experience was not positive. We made the decision to contact Dr. Perloe at Georgia Reproductive Specialist based on our research online and the recommendation of other patients that have been treated by him. After the first consultation at GRS, we felt something that we had not felt in a very long time….HOPE. We were very impressed with Dr. Perloe’s knowledge, professionalism, and how he does not sugar coat anything. It was very refreshing and we felt like we were being treated as individuals. Dr. Perloe listened to our story, he was very thorough in his examination and testing, and developed a plan for us that was totally different than the protocol with the other doctors. His staff is also amazing. From the moment you walk in the door, Keebler and Lisa make you feel welcome and comfortable. Jacqueline, Jaclyn, Jennifer, and Tracey are like our new extended family. They were so nurturing during the entire experience and were always available to answer our calls and numerous emails. We are happy to say that we are expecting our baby in January and are so thankful to Dr. Perloe and his staff at GRS!
I had the privilege of meeting Dr. McCarthy-Keith after my doctor left GRS. Without hesitation I described Dr. McCarthy-Keith to my nurse and told her I wanted Dr. McCarthy-Keith because whenever I saw her in the office she always looked so pleasant. I’m so happy that I chose her... she is a fabulous doctor, a rare find…. She’s warm and caring - the sweetest, most down to earth Doctor you could ever talk to. She truly takes time to listen - intently to your questions and / or concerns and responds thoroughly. Trust me when I tell you, while going through the fertility journey you’d want to deal with a Doctor that has as much knowledge and compassion as Dr. McCarthy-Keith. I unequivocally highly recommend her!
I first went into their office afraid, confused and to be honest a little embarassed for even needing their help. It became very apparent after meeting Dr. D. McCarthy-Keith that I was in very capable and caring hands. She took a considerable amount of time with DH and I explaining what we should expect step by step. She answered our questions thoroughly and completely. Her entire support staff is amazing- true professionals. Everyone was friendly and genuine. The fee charts were very transparent, so we didn't encounter any surprise or hidden fees. Ok...let me get to the exciting news. We're pregnant and expecting our angel in July 2012! I pray that my DH and I don't need any further assistance getting pregnant again, but if we do GRS is the only place we will consider. I can't imagine a better place to go. Thank you and God bless GRS and the entire staff. Dr. McCarthy-Keith...YOU ROCK!!! We will forever be grateful.
I want the LGBT community to know about the wonderful experience we had at GRS. This office is staffed by friendly, encouraging folks that support all people who want to be parents and require assistance. Through the entire process my partner and I felt very comfortable and experienced a tremendous amount of support from, literally, all of the staff. I am most familiar with Dr. Kaplan and her team who I came to know so well, and they are wonderful people. But you also come to know the faces of staff from other teams that always seem to smile at you when they walk by you in the waiting room. It's a good place. We appreciate them so much, and thank them all very much for helping us to conceive.
When I didn't have a period for 6 straight months after going off birth control, my OB referred me to another reproductive specialist in Atlanta. That experience was a nightmare. I felt like no one listened to me, they just put me in their "standard process" of try this, if this doesn't work, try that. Before I knew it, I was on all sorts of drugs, with no explanation as to the side effects or possible long-term effects. Scared, and no where closer to pregnancy, after about 3 months of treatment I decided to go to an acupuncturist and try a more natural route. My acupuncturist recommended I see Dr. Perloe based on my symptoms (which were somewhat PCOS-like, and is his specialty), and the experience has been great. He was always up-front about the facts and what he was thinking in terms of my treatment plan. He listened to me, including when I would come into his office with my own research and information. I felt like a person - a specific person, with a specific problem - for whom he created a specific plan. I never felt forced into any decisions, and they let me proceed at my own pace with the information they provided. My only complaint would be that I still don't actually know what my "official" diagnosis was, despite a number of different drugs we tried. But in the end, my periods returned and after 2 years of frustration I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I would definitely go back if necessary for a second pregnancy.
I have been a patient of Dr. Conway in the Alpharetta GRS office for over 4 years. I am currently pregnant with my second child thanks to the talented GRS staff. I love Dr. Conway’s approach to infertility care. She is extremely straightforward and doesn’t gloss over anything, but at the same time is particularly compassionate and caring. She is always careful to fully explain the biology and science behind my infertility issues and the various procedures I undergo. I truly appreciate her straightforward manner and respect for my desire to fully understand the issues, risks and probabilities at hand. Through unsuccessful and successful procedures Dr. Conway remained compassionate and considerate of my emotions, values, goals and financial situation. Dr. Conway and the medical staff at GRS are extremely up to date and heavily involved in infertility research. I always felt I received the highest level care possible. I can’t give credit to Dr. Conway without including a raving review of her staff. Joyce and Lisa are wonderfully responsive and supportive team members. They are always available to answer questions, help calm fears and keep me on track and updated throughout the procedures. The very private, warm and welcoming nature of the Alpharetta office is a just another plus to this great team.
We received the best care and service from Dr.Susan Conway and the GRS staff in Alpharetta. They all did a superb job from the initial consultation through treatment to conception and monitoring our pregnancy. All our questions were always answered thoroughly and phone calls were returned promptly without exception. Everyone in the staff starting with the office manager and receptionist are clearly committed to making patients feel as comfortable as possible in what can be an overwhelming situation. I was 41, my husband 39. We already had one child and had been trying to conceive a second baby for a year and a half. Dr.Conway did an excellent job of considering both clinical and insurance/financial aspects in her treatment plan. She was upfront and honest about all medical facts pertaining to our case yet compassionate and personable. We got pregnant with IUI in the first treatment cycle. We are now proud parents of a beautiful and healthy baby girl. If we were to do this again we would definitely go back to GRS and highly recommend them to anyone struggling with infertility.
We were not having luck in our conception journey at another practice. After attending a lecture with Dr. Stephanie Singleton, we knew that we needed to press on and work with the team at GRS. The entire team has been nothing but welcoming, professional, and supportive. EVERY case and patient is unique and different. We were treated like a patient, not a number, every time we visited - through ice storms, early morning egg retrievals, weekend visits and regular blood draws. Fertility and conception issues are already a difficult, emotional time, and process. Working with a physicians group that is not supportive makes things all the worse. GRS changes all of that and opens their arms with time, patience, and facts. Dr. Singleton was honest and thorough. She performed tests, and ultimately surgery, that identified polyps which were blocking our chances of a successful pregnancy. Another practice failed to do this test but continued to take our money! With the support and expertise of Dr. Singleton and staff, we are now pregnant with twins and very excited about our growing family. Do you research and find the right practice for your needs. We highly recommend Dr. Singleton and the GRS team!
We have been trying to conceive for over two years and we were starting to lose hope. We were referred to Dr. Singleton at Georgia Reproductive Specialists so we thought we'd take that next step. She was very informative, the staff is extremely friendly and they were all very attentive to our questions and needs. We did 2 IUI's and we were successful on the second try. It seems like they have everything down to an exact science. We are so blessed to have found Dr. Singleton and her assistant Sherry. We are now expecting twins in May of 2012 and we couldn't be more excited! Dr. Singleton is definitely worth every penny and with her help we are now growing our family. Thanks so much Dr. Singleton and Georgia Reproductive Specialists!
We worked with GRS for 3 yrs before leaving. During our 1st visit to Dr. Conway’s office she informed us that she was surprised we’d chosen to work with GRS as their published success rates were significantly lower than their competition’s. They were on our provider list, so we felt we had no choice. We eventually ended up working with Dr. Perloe who provided an impressive lecture on IVF as well as his specialty PCOS. However there were three reasons that caused us to leave. 1) Dr. Perloe mixed our case up with that of other couples on several occasions & decisions were made for our case based on these mix-ups that we did not feel comfortable with. 2) Their billing practices are inconsistent to say the least. 3) After being referred by Perloe to a very expensive specialist who was not covered by insurance, Perloe refused the treatment plan and questioned the validity of the specialist he had referred us to. We started working with Reproductive Biology Associates shortly after leaving GRS & were pregnant with our 1st child 9 months later. We are currently looking forward to delivering a healthy baby boy this Christmas Season.
Dr. Susan Conway and her team were great help with getting me pregnant. Currently, I'm 12 weeks. Yeah! She answered all of our questions and gave us her undivided attention.
After years of failed fertility treatments, Dr. Kaplan was able to do comprehensive testing to figure out specifically what was going on in my situation. She is extremely intelligent and is able to look at things from all angles with an open mind to determine the best course of action. My situation turned out to be incredibly complex with immune system issues, and without Dr. Kaplan and her team, I would not be blessed with my 10 week old son who is truly a miracle. If you are having trouble getting pregnant, Dr. Kaplan is THE BEST!!
I never knew they had an office at Alpharetta and when i found them, it was truly a blessing, this team is the best, such personalized care, and so efficient - not to say am now 14 weeks pregnant. The whole journey was made so easy and felt like a family when visiting them. the service is the best i have seen in all the medical practices, almost zero wait time, i used to have an ultrasound done in less than 15 mins - to give you a comparison, my last obgyn visit - with a regular doc took 55 mins !! I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a Reproductive specialist, take my word, this is the best you can ever find !! Thank you DR Conway :-)
After 2 years at another clinic, and told that I would need a gestational carrier to have a child, I found Dr. Conway and it was a blessing! She looked over my records, explained lean PCOS to me, changed my medication and sent me to a dietician. The very next cycle I became pregnant with our baby girl. Unfortunately she was stillborn at 22 weeks and our hearts were broken. I thought that there was no way I would conceive again, but it was Dr. Conway's positivity and confidence that we would fall pregnant again that kept us going....and after 3 FETs here we are again! Expecting in March 2012. I owe everything to them, they were just as upset as we were over our loss, they truly are family. For those struggling with infertility and especially PCOS, she breaks things down for you to completely understand. And creates a protocol that will work for you. The entire team is great! And a special shout out to Joyce:) Once I became pregnant the second time around, she answered all my phone calls and helped to put my mind at ease with additional blood tests and ultrasounds. I couldn't of asked for a better team. We are truly greatful!
We had a very positive experience with Dr. Perloe and his wonderful staff. Really, everyone at GRS is great. We were definitely made to feel that all medical options were pursued. They were all very professional and we always felt that we were in the best hands. And low and behold a baby is now on the way! I can't recommend GRS enough.
Dr. Singleton provided my care at GRS. She is a compassionate doctor who was also very knowledgeable and straightforward. After obtaining initial care from my OB, I decided to try a Reproductive Endocrinologist. It was the best decision I made. If I could go back, I would have skipped treatment by my OB and came straight here. After 3 almost consecutive failed IUIs, I was taking a break of trying to conceive and I got pregnant naturally! I can speculate that GRS helped me build my endometrial lining and with perhaps the combination of injections.. Unfortunately, I did lose the pregnancy at 11 wks, however, I was able to get pregnant again 2 mo's later, naturally. Dr. Perloe and Kaplan were the other doctors that performed some of my IUIs when Dr. Singleton was not on duty. They were both very good doctors who knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend this group to others who are TTC. The staff is very friendly and courteous as well.
