Called Atlantis Plumbing around noon and asked to make an appointment to troubleshoot a water leak at our house. They arrived the same afternoon, quickly found the leak at the sprinkler system.... Offered to fix it if I was planning to use the sprinklers. I declined and they turned off the valve for me. They did not charge any fees. Can't beat the value!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
The first time I used them I was so impressed, I called them the next time I had a plumbing issue. They have become my go to plumbing company. They respond quick, come when they say they will, know... what they are doing and are reasonably priced.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Always honest and on time. Tim Robinson and Lee Robinson were courteous and profession. Finest Kind!!
Atlantis sent out Jack and Barry to help with my plumbing issue. They were right on time, extremely knowledgable, and took to the time to explain to me the issue. They went over the price which was fair for the amount of work involved. They left their work area cleaner than when the arrived. I would highly recommend Atlantis plumbing.
Coming home from vacation to find a water leak--- no fun at all! Atlantis Plumbing to the rescue. Knowledgeable plumbers (Jon and Danny) who fixed the water leak quickly and at great price. We will call them again if we ever have any plumbing needs.
I purchased a new home in Atlanta and after a short while, I beginning having drain problems with the inside back up. Plumbers came out and unstop the drain and that was it. I spent an enormous amount of money and still the problem recurred.Recently, I called Atlantis Plumbing. They showed up and assessed the situation. Other plumber such as Peat's plumbing and Glen's Plumbing were called and said they would come out, but neither did even though I called many times. Atlantis(Herman) gave me a quote based on what they could see. After digging, they discovered that during the initial installation of the gas line by contractor, the gas line penetrated the sewer line. This has been like this for the life of the house, and no one else cared to investigate to determine the cause. Roto Rooter promised to do the camera for two years and did not follow up. This company discovered the problem, called the necessary people to reveal the problem and took pictures of the damage. The contractor and government agency took responsibility for the mistake and subsequent damage. Since this is a rental and i am out of state, I so appreciated the service i received. The problem was immediately corrected and I was told how to file claim with City. Other plumbers only wanted to do the minimum and get their check and leave. I am so grateful that I got this company, because they were concerned about the customer. If you want an honest plumber, you surely will want to call these people.
After several years of being unable to use our basement bathroom (due to unpleasant back-ups), Shelby and his partner discovered that our drainage pipes were not dropped properly; and, one of the pipes had cracked. In order to fix the problem, they had to jackhammer through many feet of cement floor in order to reinstall and redirect the pipes. The team was extremely professional and dedicated to fixing our problem right the first time. It was hard work; but, now everything works beautifully! Thanks for a great job!
Had a very serious break in my main plumbing line outside that needed to be fixed ASAP. Butch from Atlantis came out and not only took the time to assess the problem (quick too), but also humor any and all questions I had about costs, alternative solutions, etc... They did the work quickly, very professionally, and exercised every due diligence I would ever think a job like this would require. The only downside was us having to wait on the City people to mark the lines, which Atlantis was very patient with and helpful in expediting. On a personal note, Butch was a fountain of random knowledge and a pleasure to speak to, going yet another step further in helping us document the excavation work to try and get some reimbursement from the phone company who trenched through our pipe (longer story). Great service and very fair pricing. Thank you again, Butch- I recommend Atlantis without hesitation.
We have been having issues with our pipes and Butch was there to help. He explained everything to us and even gave s other suggestions for after. I feel this company and Butch was upfront and honest.
After receiving high water bills and evidence of water coming to my basement through the walls I figured that I might have a leak somewhere so I called in a number of plumbing companies to give an estimate to diagnose and repair the problem. After receiving estimates from several plumbing companies Reggie of Atlantis plumbing who was the service representative on this call did the scope of the problem and works to be done. He then offered two options to address the problem. He said they could either repair the leak or replace the waterline complete. There was however one problem to the repair option and that was to cut into the foundation to find where the leak was because it was apparent that the leak was in the wall and the existing incoming waterline was the dreaded blue poly that has serious manufacturing issues. My wife and I choose to replace the waterline because this would take care of both the water leak and the blue poly issue. They came out ready to work from the moment that the crew arrived and worked diligently in adverse conditions (heat then rain then heat) to get the job done and stayed until late in the afternoon to complete the job. Reggie and his crew of Atlantis plumbing did an excellent job in addressing my water leak problem. I recommend them as excellent plumbing professionals that can be trusted.
I was recommended by my coworker to call Atlantis and could not be happier. Brian was prompt in his appointment time, well dressed and good at explaining my problem and the solution. He took the time to listen to me and my wife, and our opinion of what was causing our high water bill. After patiently listening, he gave us two options on locating and repairing a leak versus installing a new water line. Our budget was not ready for the full replacement, so we chose the repair option. He got the equipment off the truck and went to work correcting our plumbing problem. Brianís professional attitude and diligent work in the heat made feel comfortable with his experience. Within two hours Brian located the leak under a small bush and made a repair. I will be calling them back to replace the line as soon I can save the money. I hated spending the money fixing an old rusted steel pipe. I could live with rusty water but could not afford a $700 water bill. I would certainly recommend Brian to anyone.
After a disagreement with Atlantis, Mike called me to discuss and restored my faith in his business. Thank you for hearing me out.
I called Atlantis plumbing to repair my American Standard toilet. They told me they were no available parts to fix them so I should replace the entire toilet, even though it was a specially ordered Victorian style installed only 4 years ago. They wanted to charge me $1,500 to replace the toilet. He charged me just to come out and tell me he wanted to scam me into replacing a new and perfectly fine toilet. I went online, found and ordered the parts to fix it immediately after talking to the fraudulent repairman. They cost $42. My handyman installed the parts and charged me $142. I think that because I am a woman they thought they could scam me out of money. I would NEVER use them again and I warn all women to stay far far away from these people. UPDATE: The company refunded me the $69 they charged to tell me they would not fix my American Standard toilet unless I found my own parts or waited 6 weeks until parts came from Mexico. Strange, since my regular handyman who had returned from vacation fixed it with American Standard parts the very next day. The best way to let you know what it will be like to deal with this company and disagree with their business practice to to post the email the President Michael sent me: as per our conversation via telephone yesterday, Atlantis plumbing has refunded the agreed upon diagnostic charge to your tenant.
"Specially ordered Victorian style" toilet parts are not that common. We called the wholesaler and ordered the part. The only way at that moment we knew to get the toilet fixed immediately was to go buy another super expensive toilet. There are over 1000 places to buy toilet parts in Atlanta and probably 1,000,000 on google. If American Standard was back ordered that does not mean that someone does not have it on the shelf somewhere else. There is no database of where a flapper and flush valve are being stored. We could have searched all day for the part. What more can I do than refund the money we charged for trying to fix the toilet, a service call and spending time trying to match the parts. Why is everyone so critical? If the part was common or in stock you would have had the toilet fixed on the spot. I'm sorry we could not repair your toilet in a timely manor and that the only way we knew how to get the exact toilet working that day was to replace it. A $1500 piece of porlein toilet in a rental house is too much for me. Mike Whitman, Atlantis Plumbing. Please contact me personally if you would like to chat firstname.lastname@example.org or please tell me how we could have handled the situation in your opinion.
We had a pressure valve go bad in a 40+ year home. The plumber we trusted and used for 10+ years sadly passed away, so we read reviews and found Atlantis. Bryan came out and replaced a pressure valve. We will recommend Atlantis to friends and family. Very competent and the knowledgeable and we have found a new plumbing service. Its hard as most know to find someone dependable and trustworthy...we feel we have found that with Atlantis.
I had called Atlantis based on the recent glowing reviews other had given. At the time I was having a minor issue with dishwasher drainage hose, and the pipe it was connected to under the sink. The first plumber that showed up took one look at my job complained that he didn't like doing dishwashers, and even though he was polite about it, still left without doing the job. I waited 15 minutes expecting someone from Atlantis to call, apologize, and let me know that someone else was on their way, but in the end it was me calling them. When I called they were didn't seem frankly care, told me when the next plumber would show up. When I asked if I could get a small discount for my troubles they told me to talk to the plumber when he got there. In my opinion I shouldn't of even had to ask for a discount considering it was their plumber that failed to do the job. When the other plumber showed up, he was polite and professional. While the second plumber did the job quickly and professionally, it still doesn't change the fact that the right person should have been sent to do the job in the first place. Never once was there an apology for taking an extra two hours out of a day that was very busy. I will not be using this plumber in the future.
What ungrateful customer. I had to send someone across town to pick up a odd sized dishwasher connector to the bottom of the sink, and still charge the original amount quoted with no extra charge for travel or picking up a special part. The service call was under $200 parts and labor, and I probably have almost that in the 4 hours of labor and gas, and material I paid out. The customer has the nerve to ask for a discount for his time. What was I to pay him $10 an hr to make up for his job? No plumber stocks odd sized side inlet washer machine tailpieces on their truck, sorry. We should have let you call an appliance company to take apart your dishwasher and replace the hose since it was too small to use on standard connector. Original Customer Contact Form: I thought all I needed to do was replace my universal drainage hose to my dishwasher, but now I'm faced with fixing somebody's bone headed, jerry rigged job. i need my dishwasher attached to the disposal, and a pipe replaced on the left side of the sink. This customer should have paid an extra trip charge for having to send one plumber to his house and then having to send another plumber to a specialty store for a part and coming back within two hours of the original call. Technically he misled us by giving wrong information, the garbage disposal inlet was too big for his existing connector. He was more concerned with getting a discount for having to wait 2 hours to go get a part for his dishwasher, than to be happy that we were going to get a part for his dishwasher. If you have ever owned an appliance and have a warranty with Sears or Maytag (we have had an appliance warranty with sears for 17 years), an appliance company will almost always have to special order the part for anything above universal connections. The service windows are 4 hours and then you are almost guaranteed two trip on any repair. I think just an ungrateful customer that should be happy he had his issue resolved in less than 4 hours at home. If I have said something wrong, please let me know. Mark was great. He and his crew were very professional and did everything in a timely manner. I will never call anyone else. Atlantis Plumbing really made me feel comfotable and they gave me different options to handle my plumbing and drain issues.
Shelby and his crew did a wonderful re-pipe of our home eliminating the blue poly pipe. Very little mess and very skilled company! J.C. repainted the areas to complete the job. They wanted us completely happy and we are. We can't say enough about the professional attitude and quality of workmanship. We are very pleased with Atlantis and highly recommend them.
Pump in basement went bad; these guys were on the job quick. Very good and friendly! Jackie is the best! I would refer them
