Reliable Heating & Air sells Energy Star rated equipment and recycles several tons of metal, steel, aluminum, copper, and cardboard each week. All r-22 (Freon) is recovered and turned into an EPA reclamation facility. All new equipment we sell and install uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R410a. Our technicians are EPA certified and trained in the proper handling and disposal of the HCFC R-22 (Freon).
My AC wasn't working. Reliable's service man took pictures and thoroughly explained what was wrong so I could trust what he was saying and why I needed to replace it. After 3 years of frustration with another company who could not permanently fix my A/C unit upstairs, I hired Reliable Heating and Air. After a brief trial and error, Timothy was able to figure out... that water evaporation from my large marine aquarium was the cause of my A/C unit problems. Timothy rewired and moved the upstairs unit and bingo, problem solved! It may seem like an easy fix, but no other service professional could figure out the problem. Reliable has proven themselves to me in multiple tasks (both HVAC installation / maintenance and plumbing maintenance) across multiple properties (both residential and commercial)! Before undertaking significant work, I usually obtain at least 3 bids from qualified contractors and Reliable is always very competitive on price (and sometime the best), but more importantly their quality is top-notch and they do the work right the first time. All of their techs have served me well, but Woo in HVAC is absolutely WOONDERFUL! I had an issue with attic vent from previous company. They didn't know when they could get around to fixing problem. I called Reliable Heating and air. They were there the next day to troubleshooting AND replace unit. They even went as far as to explain what they did and how it was installed. And installed correctly. They are at the top of my list in customer service. Thanks guys. You made my day.
Reliable installed a brand new unit, Trane (one of the best, pretty expensive) at our house four years ago. They explained that we better pay for annual service ($225) so that we can keep a warranty. So, on a top of $6000 that we paid for one unit, we have been paying additional $225 every year for Semi-annual services. However, every May the AC that Reliable installed breaks and we have to live with 85 degrees temperature for few days. It happened again and we called them and asked to send somebody over asap because of my husband's high blood pressure. I was told that we’ll have a technician on Thursday four days from now. If I could do it all over again, I would never go with this company.
I checked and I noticed we got out within 24 hours of your call and got your unit running. I am assuming you wrote this right after you called in and we were backed up. This time of year, everyone turns on their cooling at the same time. The preventive service you have us perform is to make sure the unit is tuned up and working to capacity. You do not have to keep a service contract to keep your warranty in tact, but it is recommended to make sure a failure is not caused by lack of routine service as all manufacturers reject this type of warranty claim. Many of our competitors require a service agreement to provide a 5 or 10 year warranty, but we do not. I do apologize you have had a "no cooling" situation, as my goal would be to never have a unit quit working, but with our full parts and labor warranty, it will never cost anything to repair if their is an issue. I have warranties on appliances and it seems every time I need a repair, my big box store has some fee or charge I have to pay for their warranty. Thank you for your business, Dan Jape, owner.

I received a call from the Technician to say they were enroute to my house, followed by an e-mail from the Head Office stating not only the same message but showing a photograph of the Technician who would be doing the work - how cool is that? The Technician and his partner arrived on time, introduced themselves, covered up the work area, and started to clean my ductwork. They cleaned absolutely everything, were very polite and knowledgeable, and upon completing the work asked me to inspect everything with them to ensure that I was satisfied with everything! And yes, I am extremely satisfied with the service, the pricing, but most importantly the two workers - great job guys! Michael Rome, GA.
My old Trane finally died and it was time for a new one so on Thursday I called Reliable and explained my situation, My A/c had finally bit the dust, after a short phone conversation, their was someone out at my house, a salesman named Tom to give me a quote, after a look around and seeing the whole system needed updating and explaining the money saved with a new Trane system to replace the old one which had lasted for 28 years, it was official, they were booked with other customers, but were able to put it in on a Sunday, at no extra charge, the installers were on time, installed and had my brand new system up and running in a short time Jorge and Jason were super nice and very helpful at explaining and showing, me everything and how to use it, and what they had removed and replaced, all which was really awful and definitely needed to be replaced. It was great Mothers day Thanks to Reliable I was able to stay cool and rest easy.....By far the best customer service and most painless experience to date, call them before you go anywhere else or least compare you won't be disappointed...

At 5:30 pm on a Friday, I told the dispatcher that I had an interment problem with my furnace. I said it is not an emergency as I had a work-around to keep it going. At 9:30 the next morning Chris Hamrick called and said he was on the way. Found and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Great job and nice tech.

My initial consult was with Jeremy Queen, who consulted on my system needs and quickly set up a sales appointment with Kevin Corrick. Kevin is a knowledgeable professional & I appreciated his low-pressure sales approach. My install was done by Dustin & Garrett and they were excellent. They showed pride in their work with great attention to detail. I highly recommend working with this team.

When you choose a name like Reliable you should actually try to live up to it. We scheduled an appointment to get a quote to replace our aging heat pump and furnace. When they failed to show up at the appointed time I gave them a call only to be told they canceled the appointment as they don't service my area. That's all well and good, but why did they make the appointment in the first place? Why do they list Smyrna as a service area right here on Kudzu? The woman I talked to said that an email and voice mail were used to tell me about the canceled appointment. Weird that I never got either and my email and cell phone have been working just fine. For Reliable, please remove Smyrna from the list of areas you service as that is misleading. Oh and you also list the whole of Cobb county as a service area as well. Well here is a little news for you, Smyrna happens to be IN Cobb county. Maybe it's just my street they don't service. In any case I will make sure anytime the chance happens by to UN-recomend this company. FOLLOW UP: I called the number you posted and left a message for you on Friday afternoon and have yet to have the courtesy of a call back. No I have not confused Reliable with another company. That you asked the whole sales staff and no one had any idea what happened or that it happened at all surprises me. I find it difficult to believe there is no record of this as the person I talked to told me someone else had cancelled the appointment.
(Original reply removed) Mr. J, After a lot of digging we found your information and figured out what happened. A couple of data entry mistakes caused this entire issue. The CSR who took your call listed your zip code as 30822 instead of 30082, and also your email adrress as gigdaddy instead of bigdaddy. 30822 turns out to be Perkins GA, which is slightly further than Smyrna. Nevertheless, it was our mistake(s) and I certainly do apologize for the inconvenience. We do make mistakes occasionally and we certainly did not intend to leave you hanging. I'll make sure the office sends you an apology for dropping the ball on this one.
Andrew and Billy did a fantastic job installing our new heating and air system. They were on time, did a great installation in a very timely manner, gave good instructions on using our system, cleaned up the work areas and were extremely polite and professional. The price of our system beat the other two (2) companies who provided quotes. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Reliable Heating and Air.

Andrew was great! Fixed a faulty light socket and installed a new exterior fixture. He showed up on time, was polite, explained what he was doing and gave a quote up front. They are not the least expensive but do superior work.
I needed to have my dryer vent relocated so I called Reliable. Belter & Dustin where the ones to come out to the house. They we both professional, friendly and polite. Once they were complete with the job they made sure that the work area was clean and back in order.
