"KJ" called to let us know he was on his way and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was here to do our annual Fall service and was the best tech we have ever had from Reliable. He was... thorough in the work he did and seemed to go the extra mile. He was both professional and a total gentleman! We will be sure to ask for him in the next time we need service!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Justin Hall and David Unitt replaced some GFI boxes and troubleshooted blinking lights for us. These guys are top notch and proved to be not only knowledgeable about electrical issues but also... committed to making sure that we were 100% satisfied before they left. Their care and concern for the customer showed every minute they were here!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Sam Hodge & Derek installed a new conditioner in our home on July 1st. They were very knowledgeable and courteous I would highly recommend them.
I had what I thought was a defective outdoor spigot that had been leaking for a long time but your tech Thomas S. and his helper determined that it was just a loose fitting that needed to be tightened and is now leak free and didn't need to be replaced after all thanks to Reliable !!!
Glen, Belter, Blaine, Zach, and Joseph stepped up and beyond enhancing and sealing up our attic and crawl space for the 70% of the price a competitor wanted just for the crawl space, they were professional, clean, on time, and did what it took to get it done on time, one neighbor commented that the entire Reliable Team must have been at your house today, she stopped counting at 5 trucks. Thank you Reliable for honoring your word and standing behind your work.
Set up a routine maintenance on our A/C unit. Rachel White called on a Sat to confirm our Monday apt. It reminded me of the apt. (which I had forgotten about). That much focus on customer service was impressive. Sam Howell was my tech, and like Rachel promised, he called when he was enroute. Sam walked me through all the steps he took to clean and examine our unit. I was able to pay the bill on his tablet and get an emailed copy of the receipt with no paper clutter. Great experience all around! I will definitely use them in the future.
Reliable has proven themselves to me in multiple tasks (both HVAC installation / maintenance and plumbing maintenance) across multiple properties (both residential and commercial)! Before undertaking significant work, I usually obtain at least 3 bids from qualified contractors and Reliable is always very competitive on price (and sometime the best), but more importantly their quality is top-notch and they do the work right the first time. All of their techs have served me well, but Woo in HVAC is absolutely WOONDERFUL! Woo is not only knowledgeable, but he is really passionate about his work and shows that he cares for the customer as well! I couldn't be happier! Thank you!
I had a bit of a messy plumbing job to take care of and Reliable fixed it fast. John & Stan were on-time, very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this team for plumbing repair and would use them again.
I called Reliable to service my dual A/C units. From beginning to end I couldn't have asked for a more professional experience. Evan Beckett was knowledgeable, thorough and very patient with a customer who had numerous questions. Thanks, Evan!
Justin Hall provided excellent electrical service today, and he was very courteous and professional!
My husband and I had the pleasure of having Brett Kremple and Eric Schoener, electricial technicians,to install electricial wiring and a mini-split for our sunroom. These two young men were very gracious and respectful. My husband and I enjoyed having them in our home and were the most pleasant young men that we have encountered in a very long time. Thanks RELIABLE for sending these two young men to our home. WAY TO GO!!!!!
Experience: I noticed my water tank collapse due to age and started leaking into my basement floor (Friday, 12 pm). I called Reliable for pricing & information. They were able to send somebody to replace the tank the same day (3 pm) but when the first representative arrived I was told it required a 2 men crew instead. He priced it out, gave me a copy of the invoice with the quoted price, and set up an appointment by next Monday. I called 08:30 am on Monday morning to confirm they will be coming as promised. The confirmed the appointment. However, to my surprise by 09:15 am there is only 1 person again (Pedro Portillo). He inspected the location of my busted tank and confirmed it required a 2-men crew. Now, this is where Reliable stands above my expectations. Instead of simply re-scheduling for another day, Pedro called the main office and secured that a second person swings by to help him with the installation. Pedro got to work and told me he'll be placing the new tank on the floor instead of the stand as the latter is not longer required. I showed him that because my previous tank was on a stand, I managed to control the leaking for 2 days (by putting a bucket underneath). He happily obliged. Second crew member arrived and helped him place the tank on the stand & left. He continues with the installation & finishes it in around 3 hours time since he arrived. I paid the amount quoted on Friday and not a cent more. Overall, I am a happy customer.
We are a new customer to Reliable after spending over 15 years with a competitor who let us down in an emergency. Since we've used Reliable, I've been very pleased with their response and their work. Cain came out today to do some plumbing repairs, he took the time to inspect other areas besides the repair site and did the work quickly and efficiently. The technicians at Reliable are very friendly and do great work! We have made the switch and are very happy with this organization.
Rob from the Electrical Department was incredible! He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all my questions: from wiring an electrical panel, installing a bathroom fan (NEW installation; not a replacement), installing range hood (also new installation) to what a GFCI outlet is and why I should care about it (our house is old and quite up to code). The prices are reasonable and I know I can rely on the quality of work. Reliable did all the electrical, plumbing and HVAC work in our renovated basement about a year ago. We could not be more happy with the job they did and the money they saved us.
Decided to chose Reliable for diagnosing AC issues based on the Kudzu review. I was told over the phone $89.95 for service call on BOTH AC units. However, the final bill shows $89.95 + $59.95. I wish they are more transparent with the upfront diagnostic charge to say that it is per unit. The tech was able to diagnose the issue were due to the thermostat. And they want $280 each for the cheapest digital thermostat and I decline it since it is only cost $25 to get a new thermostat and < 15 minutes to install it. I tried to resolve it over the phone but they won't budge and insisted that it was our fault. I rarely left a negative feedback before even trying to resolve it offline but we couldn't come to an agreement over the phone. Upgrade the rating after mediation to correct the misunderstanding.
Thank you for your feedback. The service call and diagnostic charge is $89.95 for first unit and $59.95 for the second since we are already at the home and the drive time is paid for in the first call of $89.95. The call was booked as a "no cooling call" at rental home and I am not sure anyone knew there were two broken a/c units at the time. The diagnostic fee covers as much time as it takes to find the problem a system is having and it can be a half hour to 2 hours depending on the complexity of the problem. Our company has to pay the technician an hourly wage from the time he starts driving towards your home unit he is completely done repairing the unit and is on his way to the next broken unit. Our techs cost us $50 an hour hard cost including gas, truck expense, workers comp etc. The average time to drive to a call and figure out what is wrong is 1.5 hours with Atlanta traffic, so at $89.95 & $59.95 charged and a cost to us of $125 to $150, we break even on a call we do like yours if we simply drive out and tell you what is wrong and do not do the repair. You situation was a little unique on your rental property as both air conditioners were broken at the same time which does not happen often, but can occur during a lighting strike Our tech worked on both systems and found electrical damage on both. The thermostats you can buy for $30 at Home Depot are not the quality piece of equipment we can sell and warranty. We actually have a good quality programmable thermostat at $169.99 installed and warrantied for a year. Part of that cost is the labor to install and the rest is the product itself. Please consider the $149.95 dollar charge to drive to your property and tell you what was wrong and how to fix it an expense for our knowledge and to help get your tenant back cooling right away in 90+ temps. Thank you for your business, Dan Jape, owner
From the moment we contacted this company we had excellent service. Our AC went out and was very old. It was determined that we needed a new furnace and AC unit. Scott, the Comfort Specialist came out quickly, listened to our needs and determined just what we needed for our home. The price that he quoted us was about half of what another company had quoted us for the same installations! Chris and Craig did our installation. They were extremely polite and very efficient. A plumbing problem came up during the installation and Taylor and another plumber came out quickly. They, too were extremely polite and efficient. The entire process was completed as promised with no hidden costs and on time. We are very happy with the entire process!
Taylor & Victor were awesome! Another co. said to replace H20 heater. They fixed my problem w/o doing that.
Raymond responded to a call for my mothers HVAC in Decatur. He made her feel completely at ease and coordinated with me by telephone through the whole process. He gave her good explanations, advice and steered her clear of unnecessary repairs. He is a gentleman and a pro and is representative of what I have seen from Reliable.
