Reliable sent Roy E. out to address some plumbing issues that were discovered during a home inspection. He took the time to understand the issues and read the details of the document to confirm he... was addressing each specific detail. He then explained the pros and cons of different repair options. Extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and dedicated to his profession. Next time my home needs some type of repair, I will check to see if Reliable can accommodate first without hesitation. This was our first experience with Reliable and it won't be our last. Our service tech Chris really knew how to analyze and solve issues with our mini-split unit where others have failed! We highly... recommend using Reliable for your heating and air-conditioning issues,VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I experienced something over the last two days that you just don't see very much anymore, that being exceptional customer service. And I should know, because i myself have been in customer service over the past 28 years. CHUCK KISER and JEFF COLLIER are by far two young men I'll not soon forget. They were: R-espectful of me and my home, they E-ducated me on my new a/c systems L-istened to me when I had questions, then answered them, and I-nstalled my new units in no time at all. A-s service/install technicians go, these two guys deserve B-onuses, because they care; they care about the L-evel of expertise they provide, and they care about each and E-very customer being completely satisfied with their work.
Alex and his HVAC cleaning team were awesome! On time, spent 10 hours @ the house and very thorough!
We wanted you to know about 2 great representatives of your company- Jorge and Jesse Ceron. These gentlemen installed our HVAC unit on 7/14/14 and were very professional, personable and thorough. They took their time to explain everything to us and were receptive to any questions we had. These two gentlemen (along with your salesman Chris) are the reason we will refer other folks to your office. Thank you...Jan and Steve Herring
John F and Stan replaced a kitchen sink and faucet today. They were friendly and did great job! It works well and looks fantastic. They even took special care to make sure my kitties did not slip out the door. We have used Reliable to replace our HVAC, some electrical and plumbing over the last several years. We think highly of the company. Stan and John F kept the bar high! Highly recommend them. Kathy B.
Came out, told we needed freon so they put it in. Didn't last 24hrs and our thermostat went rising. Called again and had a tech come out telling us we need a new system and all the freon is gone, there's a leak. ok we'll then there's a leak, we were not told about that. The new tech says you didn't have your tech check a leak? My reply was I didn't know i had to tell the tech how to do his job. Really Reliable? You add freon to a system w/o automatically checking for a leak. You were great to us on installing our heating and air in our previous home and would have given a rave review then but not so great this time around. You've forced us to shop around for another company.
Anytime Freon is added to a system, there is a leak. We have a brochure that we leave every customer explaining this. Freon does not wear out nor does it need to be replaced. We do not do extensive leak searches like some companies and the reasons are explained in the brochure we leave. A number of companies do expensive leak searches only to tell the customer what everyone knows if the unit is low of Freon, there is a leak. The leaks on old air conditioners are not leaks that can simply be repaired, they are fractures and splits in the copper tubing and this is a sign the system needs to be replaced. Now with the phase out of Freon almost complete, the best choice for a unit that needs Freon is replacement. I apologize our tech did not explain this better as it it is printed out on every invoice and he should have left you a brochure and explained the nature of a leak and what to do to remedy. We do not allow our techs to install a large amount of Freon in a leaking system and charge for leak searches as we feel it is better the put this money in a new unit. We try and explain the concept is related to how fast the Freon will leak out and how low the system is. If one has a slow leak and their unit only needs a small amount of Freon, some people choose to simply “pump up” the old unit. But if the system needs pounds of Freon and it is leaking quickly there is no reason to throw good money after bad. Our service and prices are some of the best in town and our 10 year parts and labor warranty is the best in Atlanta. If you have not made a decision, I will gladly credit the cost of the Freon that leaked out towards a new system. Please let me know if I can help, Dan Jape-cell 404 626-2344
Conor came out to do the first service of our unit that Reliable installed 1 year ago. I had a few customer service issues and Conor went out of his way to make things right. I have been very satisfied with Reliable since day 1!! They KNOW customer service...
When technicians Bryan Tanner and Gordon Harper arrived at my house at 9am Sat. morning ,it was nothing but professional service. They both took the time to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction . relocating the unit in the attic and installing a zoning system, which a job should have taken more than a day . They ask if I didn't mind them staying late to finish . This was beyond a normal days work. I could not be more satisfied with the dedication and the quality of work done. With that said nearly 15 hours of work in one day you have a pair of great employees .!
Keith did a great job servicing my HVAC. He was very courteous and professional. He offered some tips on how to keep my system running well. I would like KJ to come back when service is required.
Brian did a fantastic job to fix my air-conditioning system. He was on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, provided me with an accurate estimate and completed the repairs very quickly. I highly recommend Brian Williams and Reliable Heating and Air!
We had a service call today from Reliable for the summer tune up. Our tech was Conor Morris. He was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what the inspection involved. His courtesy and professional was excellent.
Thomas Spires is the plumber to ask for when you call Reliable for plumbing work. Professional, hard working, honest, a perfectionist... He's the best! He replaced a worn out kitchen faucet that was just awful to get out,in a very awkward small area and it took some real elbow grease. He installed the new Moen faucet we bought and made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction (water temperature, pressure, etc.). I will always ask for Thomas for all our future plumbing issues. Thanks Thomas, the faucet is working great!!
Chris the sales rep and Phil and LT the installers were the best. We heartily recommend this company. The job was also done 90 min. ahead of schedule-always a plus on a 90F day with no ac downstairs! Thank you gentleman for a job well done. John and Joanne in NE Cobb.
Follow up July 11- on 4th visit to install insulationand equipment issues again. Just left to get rental to try and finish. No one from office has ever called to discuss quote adjustment, guess that means I will use my own judgement which I will be at least $100/day or more. Have a call into Dan jape. If they don't finish today there will be no payment. Dan, if you don' t think that is fair, let me know. It is almost to the point of time for you to write off the entire job. Going to post experience on Facebook now****final update- no power for blower. Done. Update- Reliable did offer compensation for my time, which was acceptable, but still does not change the overall rating much.
I am very happy the install of your new system went very well and you are pleased with the results. I apologize the insulation portion spoiled the experience as it is usually the easiest and most simply part of the job. There are two different divisions that do this different work and the insulation trucks get very busy in the summer. This is not excuse to not being on time. If you will let me know who you are and your address, I will have our maintenance department extend your service agreement a full additional year to help compensate you for the inconvenience of waiting for the insulation crew to complete the job. Thank you for your patience and for your business. Dan Jape, owner. Cell 404 626-2344
I chose Reliable to repair my air conditioner since they service our Neighborhood clubhouse. I won't make the same mistake again...The technician did show up during the time promised and diagnosed my problem as a bad capacitor and wiring, replacing both without talking with me first. After finishing the unauthorized work, he came in a presented me with a bill of almost $300. Less than 48 hours later the air conditioner quit again. It was going to be 6 days before they would come out to diagnose the problem. After my serious complaint, they did better that by 2 days. The diagnosis; my condenser needed replaced. The service technician was a bit on the rude side the moment he walked in the door so not being a happy camper I may have been rude right back. I asked for a quote but did say I was going to get a second opinion. Today being Tues, I am still waiting on a copy of the service call (as promised) and a quote for new system. I not only will not use this company again but am recommending that our neighborhood switch as well. (we had issues with their installation of a new system too) Thermostat was wrong so heat wasn't on and broke pipes)
I apologize the level of service fell short of your expectation. I am not sure why the tech was short with you, but it sounds like possibly there was a personality conflict between both of you which happens sometimes. The techs are worked hard this time of year and spend 6 days a week, 12 to 14 hours a day fighting broken a/c units in the extreme heat and sometimes when a customer is rude as you stated you were, they give it right back instead of taking it. The service techs are working all day with people that have broken a/c units and they receive a large amount of verbal abuse and rudeness that sometimes gets the better of them. I apologize he was not more understanding of your situation. Thank you for your feedback. Dan Jape, owner.
I had John and Stan from Reliable out to inspect my house's plumbing. They were real professionals, who walked me through each item. They even explained how I could make some of the simple fixes myself, instead of trying to sell me work that I didn't need. I really appreciated that type of honesty. The following week, John and Stan came out again to replace the old hot water heater in the house. Again, they were prompt, thorough and overall professionals throughout the installation. At the end, they walked me through what they had done and showed me how to operate and perform preventative maintenance on the system. I have been really impressed with Reliable's plumbers and highly recommend them!
When my 20 year old system quit, Reliable was quick to send a salesman out and was very competitive on the price. Installation team (Jamal) did a great job and went the extra mile to complete a challenging install in one day. Highly recommend Reliable Heating & Air.
