I had a bad phone experience with Amber, who was quite rude, but I later found out she worked for a phone service and not for Casteel directly. John, the plumbing manager, went above and beyond the... call of duty to make sure I was well taken care of and completely changed my mind about the company. The bad service never ends. When Selling service agreement "filters are free" fast forward to time of service "filters are $60". When installing new AC, "no new drainage pipes needed". When... unclogging drainage pipes 3 months after installation, "here is a quote for the cost to install new drainage pipes. When taking the attic stairs and molding down to fit the new AC system they said "it will look like we never touched it once complete" After a week of the attack stairs and molding not being re-installed they were reinstalled without molding, now we have an unpainted square around the attack stairs. Main issue is value. Service was on time, professional, no issues there. Tony explained the problem clearly. My only issue is that the quote/work done was on the high side. I found other pricing for the same parts and labor to be considerably less. And since they are going to charge on the high side, the least they could do is wave the $29 service call if you get the work done.
I phoned Casteel regarding a follow up matter from a remediation project they did to my HVAC system a couple of weeks ago. The office staff was professional and responsible and the technicians called within minutes and arrived at our home shortly thereafter. They resolved the concern quickly. I've used Casteel for years and have always had great services and quality results. I recommend them enthusiastically.
Work was professional, courteous, and on time. Pricing is questionable on "savings plans", but recommend overall.
After getting 4 bids, I chose Casteel and was very pleased with the professionalism, customer satisfaction focus and pricing... starting with Bobby Loebl who was very knowledgeable when he came out to give us options and pricing to replace our upstairs Heating/AC unit and ending with Harley and Thomas who came out today to make the installation. They called to let me know they were 30 minutes away, arrived on time, explained what they'd be doing, laid down drop cloths,finished in 5 hours and then went over the list of all the steps they had taken and explained the follow up. I couldn't have been more pleased.

All the service agents are very friendly and helpful. The take time to explain what they are doing. They give me their honest opinion when I ask for their help especially when they tell me I might need a new part or service.
Starting with Lamar who did the planning, and ending with Andy and Jesse who did the installation, my recent experience with Casteel Heating and Cooling was first rate. Very friendly people who know how to do the job, and who go the extra mile to get it RIGHT. Jesse was outstanding at fabricating whatever was needed. Andy was superb at attention to every detail. Lamar followed the job every step of the way to be sure it was right. A great crew; a great job. Thanks guys.
As usual, experienced and knowledgeable service tech Terry showed up. Not good news on my unit, but he gave me an honest opinion i can trust, and their consultant Bobby came out the same day to price out a new system.

Responsive & professional. I needed my ENTIRE system replaced at my house, inside furnaces & outside AC units. After my first call for a quote, within days I had a complete breakdown of my existing system and all my upgrade options. After selecting, two installation teams showed up and worked all day to finish the job and they did so masterfully. The installation was done perfectly (and is working great)! I was happy the installation team members weren't your typical "grunts" that you want to get out of your house ASAP - but instead each one was VERY smart and courteous. A+ all around! From the time we requested a quote until the job was finished was less than two weeks. Thanks go to Buck Ford who designed our system. He gave us what "we wanted", not what he wanted to sell. Thanks to Chris Lefevre for getting the financing "we wanted". Many thanks to the most courteous install team you could ask for. Jesus, Heisen, Michle and Thomas.
