Great service!, 10/16/2014

Ed and his crew took down a snapped pine and also cleaned up several other trees and did a great job at a great price. We got a quote in the morning, the crew arrived at noon and everything was taken... care of and cleaned up thoroughly by late afternoon. Very professional service. Would not hesitate to use again and will recommend to all our friends.

Great Service

I called for an estimate for removing a large double trunk hardwood and Rigby's was just a few miles away finishing a job and came right over and gave me an estimate and was immediately available. They were reasonable and the service was fabulous. Thanks.

Great care given to existing landscaping and finishing with thorough cleanup. We recommend this company and encourage you to use them...we definitely will. The owner, Ed Rigby, is on the site with his team all day. His prices are fair and he's a fun and friendly guy. They actually make taking down huge trees look easy. Awesome group of men!

Look no Further!

With 21 massive hardwood trees to remove, saying our house was a daunting project is an understatement. The quotes we were getting were just way too much for our budget to even consider. Ed came out on a friday and gave us a quote (which he did not change one single cent.) VERY knowledgeable and even gave us some great consultation on landscape ideas we were considering. He and his crew showed up the next morning and hit the ground running. Watching these guys work was just amazing. Never seen a crew work with such speed and accuracy in the face of a challenging landscape without slowing down. (these guys earn every red cent!) Ed and his crew pulled off what we thought was the impossible. Thanks to them, we eliminated a serious unknown risk of a 10 -12 ton red oak that was rotting from the inside and could have fallen at anytime on our house that would have been catastrophic. Thanks to Rigby Tree Service for unbelievable service and value. We now have plenty of mulch and some great hickory for firewood!

Excellent Service

Ed and his crew have been fantastic! A 70 foot tall black oak fell blocking our driveway and he showed up within 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Not only did they do a great job with that tree but he gave me a nice deal on 4 other trees that needed to be removed. I also got an education on the trees all over my property. These guys are great and cleaned up the yard nicely after and clearly take pride in their service! I highly recommend Rigby Expert Tree Care!! Kevin

The Only One We Use

About 12 years ago, I needed about 20 pine trees cut out of my yard. I asked around Roswell and Ed Rigby's name repeatedly came up. I have used Rigby's Tree Service since then on several occasions. Ed is a Master Arborist, a technical expert, and an artist. He tried to convince me years ago that I should have a large poplar taken out of my back yard. I said, "No" and three years later, the tree was through my house. I don't argue with him anymore! As I begin construction on my new house on a wooded lot, you can bet that I'll have Ed and his guys out there first, helping me decide which trees to keep and which ones will go. After years of great service and friendship, I would not recommend anyone else. Rigby's Expert Tree Care is by far the best around.

Best in town!!

When the Micro burst (mini tornado) hit my house that Thursday evening I couldn't believe what I saw. The 80 foot Sweet Gum had been completely uprooted and moved 20 feet from the place it grew then slammed onto the backside roof of the house taking out the entire tongue& groove decking along with four massive 4 by 6 cedar supports. Mr Rigby brought his crew to my house this past Sunday and did an incredible job removing that tree from the roof before any further damage could manifest. His prompt service and attention to detail reveals a true excellence to be remembered for any future tree work. Here are some photos of the tree against my house:

A wonderful company to work with

Ed Rigby has come to our rescue several times now. Always at a fair price and does an amazing job. He removed 8 trees from our house in Roswell, Ga and used part of the trees to build us two wonderful benches in our back yard. It was a complete surprise, but we absolutely love them. He removed trees from my parents property, which was very complicated because of the terrain and the huge amount of landscaping. You would never have known that he was there. He is now removing 7 huge trees from our Sandy Springs house. They clean up and are out before you even know what happened. They are great!

Rescue From Tree Messes

Rigby's has rescued us in tree messes several times during the past few years, and it was the preventive maintenance on the trees near our house that avoided damage to our home in last week's storm. Nevertheless, we had another mess, with uprooted, broken, and bent trees and much debris on the ground. Again, Mr. Rigby and his skilled crew arrived promptly, did the work, cleaned up the mess, and left us with our yard looking good again.

Ed Rigby's Expert Talent Got Me Out of a Jam

Ok picture this scenario; It's 1985 and I am a average chain saw user who just got a job to cut a 3' diameter, 100 year old, 85 foot tall, White Oak that is 20 feet from a residence. I assess the weight of branches overall and determine it's an easy wedge cut to the woods (well away from the house). Unfortunately as I started the opposite cut instead of widening it pinches the saw. I quickly knock on their door to ask for a phone and promptly call Ed Rigby to elucidate on my error. Ed shows up in 20 min (longest 20 min of my life) and takes a look, after which he puts on his climbing boots and starts up the tree with a wire rope in hand. Mind you he is climbing a tree, already moving in the direction of the house and I am just certain he is going down with it. He secures the rope three quarters of the way to the top, climbs back down and secures the other end using a hand winch to another tree to act as a hard point to pull toward. Ok now I am winching as he is sawing and we both realize the only way this thing is coming our way is to simultaneously pull hard on that winch to muscle this monster our way thus avoidng the house entirely. Inch by inch the tree begins to move away from the house and both of us breathe a huge sigh of relief when it comes crashing down with a roar I'll never forget. Ed Rigby saved my proverbial "rear end" and as far as I am concerned he is my hero. Don't trust ANYONE other than he

Thank you Mr. Rigby!

Awesome! Perfect job on work contracted and even took down extra trees at no additional cost. They left my yard in great shape and even killed a copperhead for me on way out. Crew worked hard and were incredibly efficient and professional. Mr. Rigby explained everything to me in great detail and walked thru the job with me to be sure that everything was exactly the way I wanted it. I wouldn't trust any one else.
