We offer free woodchips and delivery to your house at no cost. This is a great way to help the environment by recycling the trees we remove into useable, moisture retaining, ground cover...and its free!
We called Redfern to remove two of our trees in our front yard. Grass could not grow around the trees and it was becoming an issue with the appearance of our yard. They came out and removed the trees... and added plants, shrubs and flowers. They even added some mini boulders. It's refreshing to see our yard looking so groomed again. Would use them again.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Redfern Tree Service has done tree work for our family for many years and not once have we ever experienced any sort of problems.
Quality work overall but be very, very careful about getting every detail specified in your quote. Amir is very good at making you feel comfortable about the work and then forgetting what they agreed to do. I was short changed and felt overcharged compared to other quotes I received. Their prices are too high compared to the quality of service.
Please note that it states on ALL contracts that stump grinding is not included unless specified in the contract. You were given the contract from the beginning. The tree that you're referring to was taken down free of charge (because you were referred by a family member) and did not include stump grinding. However, when you decided that you wanted to grind the stump (while the crew was there), we sent the stump grinder out. He would have been able to grind it for you but said that he could not accept responsibility for possible damages to the fence because it is old and had to be moved. You then decided not to grind the stump because we couldn't accept responsibility for the fence. I'm sorry mam, but we are not a professional fence company and couldn't accept that risk. Also, we spent a considerable amount of time at your property to remove those large dead trees by your fence-line. We even took extra care to make sure the grass was not damaged, which was also stated in your contract. If you felt that you were short changed, I would hate to see the quality of work from someone who could have done it cheaper.
Have been doing business with Redfern for about 5 years now, hiring them for both small and big jobs. Recently, I had some trees cut down in my back yard around my kids' tree house. The trees were dangerously close to my kids' play area and appeared to be unsafe (dead). Redfern came out with a great attitude and completed the job for me with no problems. They cut down the trees that were unsafe, and gave me peace of mind. They're work quality and pricing is great; great complany!
I am extremely happy with the performance of the company. I recently had 5 large trees that I needed taken out in my back yard, a few of which were in danger of falling on my house. The workers were on time, very polite, worked diligently, and got the job done in no time. When it was time for clean up, they made sure my yard was in great condition before leaving. The price was also great for the work that was done. I would absolutely recommend them, and will definitely be doing business with them in the future.
I did pay the invoice for the work that was actually done. The check was cashed by Redfern on June 28 and posted to my account. Please try to be truthful in your responses - you claimed I have not paid for any work and yet you have cashed my check already. To the readers: proceed with extreme caution is using this company.
When we spoke you mentioned that you wanted to get rid of the underbrush, which we did. There was never any mention of wanting to sod the area, grading or clearing. We also have left many messages for you in order to meet up and resolve the issue but have yet to hear back from you. All of that said, we still haven't received the payment for all of the work that was done, including the trees that you added while the crew was on the job site.
Used Redfern twice over the last 15 years, on a small job (5 trees)at my old house and a big job (25 trees)at my current home. Excellent each time. Last time they dropped a a tree thru my roof, what a mess. The owner IMMEDIATELY had the damage repaired, inside and out, as good as new, perfectly done. NOW THATS A COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I really like them and will ALWAYS use them and recommend them. Here's a company you can build a long term relationship with that will always deliver.
Redfern removed 10 large trees from property. Access was difficult for equipment. The crew placed plywood on lawn and kept equipment on this path. Tree cutting by design is quite destructive and messy. Redfern did a great job keeping the mess to a minimum. I would recommend them to anyone.
We had a large dying tree in a very dangerous spot in our yard. I was concerned that it was going to fall on our house. I called Redfern and they were very prompt to respond. Everyone from the person who answered the phone, to the actual crew members were very helpful, polite and courteous. They got our tree down quickly and without any damage to the house. You can't even tell that it was ever there! They made me feel very comfortable and at ease.
I hired Redfern after getting a few other estimates. I found their price to be fair and they were very professional. Crew did a great job and even cleaned up afterward. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again.
I have worked with A LOT of tree companies over the years. I have had some great inexpensive companies, some very professional (not inexpensive) companies, and some plain bad companies. I have never run into a company like Redfern. VERY professional and almost always the cheapest bid by far. Get a price and you will thank me.
We had Redfern Tree remove 16 tree's prior to our pool instalation they did an excellent job, price was in line with other tree company's. I was really impressed with the clean up they did after removing the tree's. They had the best plan for removal in a difficult back yard.
After having several quotes, Redfern was BY FAR the best price. They were fast and responsive and the quality of the work was top notch. The trees were up very close to my house and from what I can see they did no damage whatsoever to the house. Highly recommended.
I was very disappointed in this one, because home reports recommended them and they offer the cream of the crop. First, they didn't notify me they weren't coming when I took the day off. I called them, and when they didn't return my call I had to call them again. It took them forever to tell me they weren't coming because the owner went on vacation. So I schedule another day. They knocked down one of window awnings on my house while I was sitting there watching. The owner didn't know I was there when it happened and told me that his guys didn't do it because he was watching. He was a serious nut. I won't do business again with someone who is that much of a liar.
I had gotten 3 different quotes from 3 companies. Redfern's quote was best by almost 30%. They quoted me on Wednesday and said they would be here on Friday. They did great work(6 big trees overhanging my house)They said they would be back Saturday morning to grind the stumps. True to their word again!! I appreciate when a company does exactly what they say with no funny business. GREAT JOB
Redfern Tree Service did a great job removing several dozen trees for us. Most were quite tall and some were close to the house. They offered us a fair price and did what they said they would do, plus some, without any collateral damage. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.
I had 2 dead trees, and 2 leaning trees- they took all 4 for less than the next guy's quote for just the 2 dead ones. One other company wouldn't even do the dead trees. They were fast in getting the quote out to me and in their work. We'll use them again for the rest of our trees.
I needed two large hardwoods removed that had fallen from a storm. They were very prompt & professional. When I noticed that one stump had not been cut low enough to the ground they returned the same day of my call to take care of it. Price was very competitive. Definitely would use again.
