I recently had reliable go to my parents house to clean their ductwork and I must say I was very impressed. I've been in the hvac industry for 22 years and I'm very familiar with what most companies... have to offer. These guys have there ducts in a row! They have a very thorough process which effectively cleans and leaves your entire h.v.a.c. system. Not just your duct work. Most companies can't offer this. Alex P. was great in explaining this entire process. The techs Lee and Matt called 30 min. In advance to tell me they were in route. After arrival they quickly went to work and did their magic leaving my mother with a peace of mind in the air she was breathing. I could go on and on on how my mom and dad bragged on these guys. Thanks to you all at reliable! Great job! I won't hesitate to refer you guys to all my customers!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
My name is Jay Fielding. Please feel free to email me for further details. email@example.com Its great to have a company that can support each other across Electrical, Heat and Air and... Plumbing. This weekend Scott from plumbing was at the house and completed 3 jobs with a mater bathroom toilet installation, a new water heater installation and repair of a leak. It turned out that we also have a an electrical issue where rodents had eaten through the line to the water heater making it impossible to finish the job. But Reliable sent Jim K and Andrew V to the house to help. They not only quickly repaired the wires that needed to be laid from inside, around the house frame to the crawl space, but worked out a deal with the redo my entire panel. The house panel was from the 70's totally out of space. I now have a panel with 5 empty fuse spaces, nicely labeled for each room and out let and a safer more modern overall electrical system. Last year Reliable resolved a 5 year cooling problem by a creative use of zoning that was extremely helpful. Chris Gleeves one of their sales reps came up with the idea and I have been so comfortable with the new Trane heat pump for the heat of summer and now the cold of winter. This is truly an impressive company.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We wanted you to know that Woodstock Reliable has two great representatives of your company- installers Jorge and Jesse Ceron. These gentleman were professional, personable, thorough, and persistent when they were installing our HVAC unit. Even after the job was completed they were very thorough in explaining the directions for the unit and completing our paperwork. It is because of these two gentlemen (as well as Chris, your "salesman") that we will recommend your company to other folks. Thank you... Jan and Steve Herring
Thomas Spires was extremely knowledgeable, helpful & courteous. He fixed our problem in no time. I would definitely recommend Mr. Spires and Reliable Heating & Air!
Jason and Josh came out to install a new Trane Air Conditioner. They were on time, finished early, and did a nice clean job. Very Satisfied.
Service call on Fri to new system installed on Wed - unbelievable! All employees were timely, polite.
Dustin, Garrett, Randy & Andrew Quality work by quality people. You won't be disappointed with these guys. From delivery, take down, install, and clean up I couldn't be more satisfied. I have dealt with Reliable for 15 years and I have never been disappointed with their work. Very honest and hard working people. Thanks guys.....
This review is late coming, but we tried to get a checkup of our units and Reliable has jerked us around again. In 2010, we purchased 2 units from Reliable. 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs. Their sales person messed the quote up many times. Once we got it straightened out, they installed the wrong unit Downstairs. We had to staighten that out. They finally put the correct unit down stairs. It required an exhaust pipe (May not be correct term-it is High efficiency unit). They cut a Huge square hole in the side of the house for a round pipe. They put 2 inches of Silicon around it. They installed my upstairs unit. They punctured the system so the Freon (Whatever is the Cooling agent) leaked out. We had to call them back to fix it. We replaced the upstairs unit because of a Freon leak. We did not discover that reliable had messed up until the next day. The system was blowing hot air within an hour of them leaving. 6 weeks ago we scheduled a checkup for today (Hoped they would be better). My wife was told between 2 and 5. They did not show so she called. She was told that they do between 2 and 9PM. You have to cancel a whole day. They will never set foot in my home again. Dan Jape fixed the Side up my house after I spoke to him personally. We are done with them. I wish I had not scheduled the service with them.
I do apologize the scheduling system was not explained to you better on our side. We do not give a dedicated time on regular tune ups and maintenance as it is impossible to judge the amount of time the jobs scheduled ahead of yours will take and we do not want you sitting at home waiting on the tech to arrive. Instead, we have an automatic system that is set up to send you an email with a picture of the tech coming to your home and give a one hour notice to allow you to go about your day and then come home to meet the technician. I do not know why this was not explained to you at the time you booked your appointment. I am going to track down the customer service rep that booked your call and see what went wrong with this very convenient, automated system. I am glad any original hiccups experienced on the original install were fixed to your likely. Some people are surprised to see the new high efficient furnaces flue pipes come through the wall of their home. These are two pieces of three inch PVC sticking out the exterior wall and they have steam coming from them in the winter/fall. Please remember the new systems we installed have a 10 year parts and labor warranty included in your purchase price and if you continue to have regular service performed for the full ten years, you will receive a full coverage warranty for each additional year of service performed. The only way to void this long warranty is to have service performed by another contractor. The 10 year parts warranty can be transferred to any authorized Trane dealer, but not the labor warranty. I hope you will give the routine service department a chance to perform regular checkups and I will extend this service two additional years at no charge as to help compensate for the aggravation we caused by not explaining the scheduling system properly. Thank you for your business. Dan Jape, owner
We've used Reliable (Woodstock location) for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical and have been very pleased. We especially like the email (with name and picture) of the service technicians that are on their way.
Brian & Shaw installed a new AC unit in my house. They were early and finished before I thought they would. My house was cool in about two hours. Couldn't be happier!
2nd unit installed in spring just experienced a leak in the attic and water damage is visible in the drywall ceiling. I placed an emergency call and a technician arrived in less than 30 minutes and fixed the leak. This was last Friday. It is the following Wednesday and Micky the handy-man just left after repairing the ceilings that were damaged. They look perfect! Reliable has installed 2 new systems for me over the years and my recent emergency makes me very glad they are my HVAC go to team!
I called because of water in my basement near my furnace/AC unit. After 4 visits and more than $200 they sent a plumber. The plumber quoted me a price on the phone, then gave a different number on the printed quote. I did not notice (my fault), but now I am out $350. No apology from Reliable. The worst thing they did was charge my credit card without calling me. I spoke with their billing department prior to work being scheduled and was assured that nothing would be charged without my approval. They charged over $2000 on my card without authorization, and without giving me the opportunity to inspect their work. Bushleauge! Beware!
I think the best answer to your review is to simply post the emails you sent and the responses sent to you. Our plumbing manager offered to refund the $350 that you mentioned you did not read on the proposal, but you hung up on him before you gave an answer. I do appreciate you giving us 3 stars in "quality of work" but apologize you were not pleased about losing the ability to "fight" us over the charge.
Our plumbing managers response: I am very sorry about the confusion on the payment for the work we did at your rental home in Doraville, GA. If you wish us to credit the money back to your credit card we will be happy to do that. I made the assumption that it was ok to charge the credit card once you gave me permission to do the work. I assure you that we would not have charged your card for more money you had approved. If you wish to change your payment method please give me a call at 770-780-3510 and we can work out how you wish to pay for this work. Thanks John
Your response back to our manager: I do not want to change the payment method. I wanted the ability to judge the quality of work before paying for it. When I did not receive a phone call, I lost the ability to fight the over charge. I was simply charged and there is nothing I can do. You told me it would be $2200 and I asked you directly if that $350 would come out of it. You can deny it all you want, but we discussed it on the phone, and I feel cheated. I will absolutely be leaving reviews of my experience on every social media outlet I can find.
Plumbing managerís response:As for the quality of work, You have a one year warranty on the repairs we made and we will honor it. As for our conversations we do have differences. Before I sent you the proposal I review what was in it with you. I told you that the cost would be $2550 and that if you accepted the proposal with in the next 30 days that we would take the cost of the camera off. You said at that time that you did not have $2200. That you were expecting a check from your boss and that you would call when you had the money. You requested that I not discuss this with your renter. I did not discuss anything with your renter. You call me the following week and told me to go forward with the $2200 job. I am very sorry for any misunderstanding. I try to avoid these types of issues by putting agreements in writing.
Our service call for AC repair was handled very professionally from the customer service person to one follow up call from schedule question. Then Technician Henry Lawrence. He literally diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor) and fixed in less than 10 minutes. He too was very professional and confident in speech and action. I will definitely use them again. I paid a reasonable price and received an email receipt within minutes
Reliable Heating & Air came out today to fix an electrical issue at my house. The technician, Allen Patrick, called me about 30 minutes prior to arriving at my home to let me know that he was on his way. When he arrived, he quickly assessed the problem, explained my options and the cost of the service, and promptly fixed the issue. He was friendly and professional and was able to resolve my issue quickly. Allen provided outstanding customer service and I really appreciate that. Reliable Heating & Air is a company that I will definitely use again and highly recommend to others.
New installation ductwork initially installed incorrectly. System failed within 2 months, but company was honest and serviced everything. Had to wait nearly 3 weeks to get new coil installed. But, Gus (supervisor) and Brett were great and made sure everything was fixed correctly.
Jesse Clark, Senior Service Tech.serviced our unit on 7-14-2014.He was very professional, friendly and approachable. He answered all our questions thoroughly and with a very pleasant attitude....He appears to enjoy his job, which helps us, the customer feel more comfortable in welcoming techs. into our home and trusting them to do a good job.
Today we had a check up on our 5 year old unit that we purchased from Reliable Heating & Air. I am so glad that we continue to use the experts at Reliable. Our technician, Henry Lawrence, was very professional and kind when in our home. He answered all my questions without hesitation and I am confident in the work he performed. Thank you Henry for battling the 90 degree heat in our crawl space to ensure my family's comfort!
We had an AC unit fail on us before the 4th of July weekend & knew that repairing/replacing was going to be a bit of a headache. We called for multiple quotes & settled on Reliable, who'd previously done great work replacing our hot water heater. My wife & I each had attempted to connect with the sales rep Chris on several occasions over a 3 day time frame & found him impossible to get on the phone. We had to call the main office to insure we were even on the calendar since we'd be told they'd call the day before to confirm which they didn't. We'd also gotten two different windows on when the installers were going to be there. Barring that, the installers who eventually did come out did a great job getting the new AC & furnace in & up & running in about 4 hours or so, even saving us $400 from a new line we thought was going to have to be run on the outside of the house by using our existing lines & insulating them so that they'd run more quietly. But the lack of communication from the office & the sales guy confirming our details are what's keeping me from giving them all 5 stars. They'd used to send an email the day before confirming details of the appointment with a picture of the tech that was coming to your house & if they no longer do that, they need to go back to that.
I apologize the level of commination fell short. I am not sure why the email was not sent as the system is in place to send a picture of the tech and the arrival time and it is still part of our normal practice and customers love it. Chrisís wife has been in and out of the hospital with cancer and I can only assume this affected his returning your call, as he is normally one to call and stay in touch with all his customers. I am glad the finished product came out to your liking and the techs arrived as planned. Thank you very much for your business and for your feedback. Dan Jape, owner.
