I live in the Johns Creek area. I have come to the realization that service companies automatically up charge us because of the area. Atlantis Plumbing doesn't charge a service fee for coming out... to your property (even in Johns Creek) - FREE ESTIMATES! You pay for the problem (labor & equipment), that's it. Please remember that Atlantis has several plumbing technicians and not all of them are the same so you will get different ratings. My service technician, Roby & Tyler, were *****WONDERFUL*****! I had 20 gallons of water spilling out of my ceiling and they found the leak and took care of it. They are extremely professional, knowledgable, and very friendly. I would recommend Atlantis Plumbing - but please remember my stars are not only for the company, but for the technicians :)VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Two days after purchasing a house, we ended up with water all over our basement floor. We called a plumber and found out that we had a blocked drain pipe caused by tree roots that had grow into our pipe. He suggested we replace the entire pipe for $4000. We passed on his suggestion and my husband rented a machine to snake the drain. That temporarily fixed the problem, but two weeks later, we once again had water all over the basement. I spoke to many different plumbing companies and finally settled on Atlantis Plumbing. They sent a plumber, Butch and his team out the same day I called to assess the problem. He put a camera down the pipe and suggested not to replace the entire pipeline, but to replace the area that had been damaged and clogged by the tree roots. Butch went over all of the possible options with us and was very thorough in his explanations. He answered all of our questions patiently and was extremely pleasant to work with. After Butch and his team assessed the problem, they came back two hours later with the tractor they needed to dig up the yard to access the pipe. They did an outstanding job, and managed to clear six feet worth of tree roots and sewage. I felt like Atlantis Plumbing was quick and easy to work with. They gave me a fair price for the work they completed, and Butch and his team were absolutely excellent to work with. I will definitely use Atlantis Plumbing again!
A polite, punctual plumber, Thorsten, quickly assessed a cracked sewer pipe as the cause for water in our basement. He took the time to explain the cause, answer all my questions, and provide a written quote. Since the pricing was competitive, I had him install a faucet inside prior to beginning the sewer pipe replacement. He completed both jobs with excellent results, and cleaned both areas. I'll definitely use Atlantis Plumbing again, based on Thorsten's superb service.
Thorsten was very knowledgeable, diagnosed our issue quickly, and was punctual in his arrival. Would definitely use this company again.
Had leaking garden tub. Atlantis came out same day and did a quick and easy repair. Tim and Josh Robinson in Marietta, GA are the best!!
Herman, Jason and the crew handled the total replacement (both under our house and underground to the street) of the original cast iron sewer pipe (installed 1963). They explained in great detail every step of the process. We'd recently had another company encapsulate our crawlspace and were worried about the damage the encapsulation material would suffer from the pipe removal and replacement. The crew made sure to keep everything in the same pristine condition they found it in and when they left I could barely tell any work had been done in the crawlspace (a good thing). Atlantis also replaced the pipe to the road using a pipe bursting method that spared our yard from any damage except a small portion of sod that was carefully lifted and replaced after the dirt was filled in. They did everything they could insure that the grass would recover in good time. I highly recommend this company and the crew of experienced plumbers for any type of plumbing repair, inside or out.
We recently had David come out and re-plumb our master bath as well as install the plumbing for a new bathroom in the basement. He did a great job for a very reasonable price. We would use him again anytime we have a plumbing issue.
Had tree and shrub roots in 2 places in the sewer line. Herman and Jason used the camera system to accurately locate the roots and they double checked for accuracy. They encountered problems such as a large tap root that cracked the original PVC pipe which allowed shrub roots to enter the pipe. The job was difficult to do and they kept at it until they finished the same day. I was extremely pleased with the professional manner in which these men worked. They showed up on time and had all the tools they needed. Herman was expert on the small backhoe. They stuck precisely to the estimate. The estimate was VERY reasonable and competitive in pricing. Even though they ran into problems with the large tree root and it took 2 extra hours to repair the 2 root clogs, they didn't charge one penny more than the estimate. I am 1000 percent happy with the repair and can highly recommend Atlantis and especially Herman and Jason. They are the absolute best.
I needed a gas line test and they came out and told me my lines would not hold pressure and for $845 they would replace the lines in the house. I got a second opinion and a county inspector to look and it held pressure no problem. I think these guys are con artists.
Mr. Walters needed a gas test. He made an appointment and scheduled a call. He was not available on his phone for the entire day, at one point he acted like he never called a plumber. At 5 PM we arrived at his rental house to do a pressure test on his natural gas piping. We used an air compressor to pump up the lines and identified multiple leaks. The house also had thread protector coupling on the gas pipe instead of tapered couplings.Non tapered coupling do not seal and are illegal, they are for protecting the pipe for transportation only. The county requires a licensed plumber to sign off on the gas piping as being safe, installed properly and that the line will hold 15PSI of pressure. The county inspection does not mean anything, the county is indemnified against any responsibility, the plumber is responsible for looking over the gas system. I called the plumber that supposedly did the work and he said he had no idea about the job. Mr. Walters sent a paypal receipt for $275 from a plumber. No description of what was done, no description of $125 for county inspection, might have been an ebay purchase. The house is a rental and the fuel system needs to be safe. I am not signing off on his old, improperly installed and leaking piping without correcting problems. Mr. Walters as a property manager is only looking at cost and does not care of the finished product or even if it is safe. Even though Mr. Walters did not pay a penny to Atlantis Plumbing, I will gladly go out there for free again and meet with him onsite and look and see if the problems were fixed. Maybe the plumber performed an air test, fixed the leaking joints, replaced the thread protector couplings and paid for the county inspection for $75 labor for the whole job. Why not leave a praising review for the plumber who solved your problem for so cheap and only leave a bad review for me. You only complain and don't give an praise? Call me if you have an issue with your free estimate or you would like to meet onsite with or without the gas company (and the tenant) to determine if the system is safe. Michael Whitman, Atlantis Plumbing
I had a leaky shower head which I tried to fix myself only to make it worse. Atlantis came out and arrived during the scheduled time of the appointment. Tim even called twice to let me know when he would be arriving. I was quoted a price before the job began. It wasn't cheap, but the work was professional as were the men doing the work. I will use them again when I need plumbing.
While no one wants to have plumbing emergencies, if you do then call Atlantis! I called and John came out within an hour and did the repair in an hour. He kept me informed all through the service visit on costs and problems. He was friendly and respectful. Can't recommend Atlantis highly enough!
Mike, Darrell and Brandon did a GREAT job. I was very concerned going into this project. I expected a big expense and lots of holes in the drywall. Atlantis came in at a fair price, completed the work as quoted, and were very professional. Cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept water on for us in portions of the house as they worked. Dry wall guy (JC) just left and the project is complete. I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED with the work these guys did. Five stars. Thanks, Atlantis! (T. Gould)
Unfortunately, we were having some issues with our plumbing (gurgling in the drains). After our home warranty company told us sewer mains are not covered, we looked at Kudzu for a well reviewed company and called Atlantis. They sent Thorsten out who gave us a free estimate, showed us the issues with the sewer line in the basement, answered all our questions, and explained a few options. He gave us a temporary inexpensive option and the full replacement costlier option. We ended up having the entire line replaced after seeing the camera footage of our 100 year old pipe. It was expensive but less than I expected based on talking to a couple of other plumbers. Thorsten was so terrific. He spent so much time making sure we understood the whole process, he spent extra time cleaning up after they finished, and he was really friendly and knowledgeable. No one likes spending tons of money on something like this but the experience was so great, I almost didn't mind the cost. It had to be done! I would call Atlantis again without hesitation and ask for Thorsten. He is excellent!
I had my main pipe backed up and water coming in the basement on a Sunday night. Called a few plumbers and all but Atlantis wanted to charge crazy amounts without even seeing the issue. Butch came and fixed the problem in an hour and also gave me a heads up on what to expect before he got here. Will refer all friends to Atlantis with future plumbing issues.
I had a leaking main water pipe in my yard. They fixed it quickly and at a good price and you can hardly tell any holes were dug in my yard! Couldn't have asked a better stress free service! Very professional and customer focused.
I had a high water bill and knew something was wrong. Jackie, from Atlantis Plumbing knew by listening to my water heater what the problem was. He went and got some parts and fixed it right away. Answered all my questions I had along the way. Very polite and professional. The way all it should be! I would recommend Jackie to anyone.
I needed a water line repaired. I called this company and it was the best decision I could have made. From the person who answered the phone, to Jon - my plumber (what a great spirit, friendly, cooperative and kind - and so very knowledgeable), to the crew who assisted him. They came quickly. They did quality work AND the price was very reasonable. I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. I rarely write reviews, but this company deserves it.
