Top Notch Performance, 8/31/2015

The Atlanta Air Care experience was top-notch, and I would continue to recommend their service to my friends as well as any associate. James Emerson Dacula, GA

2 A/C units Installed, 8/24/2015

I purchased 2 Rheem A/C units from Atl Air Care. I was very impressed with the up-front sales & support from Jeremy. One unit went in without issue and has been great. The second unit was a... problematic install and the crew was not as good. We had multiple after install service calls until it was discovered that the emergency shut off was causing the unit to cycle on/off. I wasn’t happy about the issues or inconvenience but Atl Air did stand behind their work and corrected the issues.

Competitive Rates, Quality Service

They gave us a competitive bid for a AC replacement, came on time, and completed the work in a very timely manner. We had a complication with a second unit we originally planned on moving but they worked with me to find a solution to the problem and resolved it on the spot.

great price, OK install

by far the cheapest quote. with all the positive reviews here I figured, why not? install was going smoothly. I guess the circuit breaker was tripped or flipped because when they asked me to turn it back on it wouldn't latch. installer asked me to try a few more times. the 4th time some sparks shot out! obviously something was up. he came back a few minutes later and said a part was broken and would I be around tomorrow. I said no, one day off work was enough. it was only 1pm so I asked to please get the part here and finish. they went somewhere, got the part and finished the job by 3pm. they told me that the emergency shut off switch was the bad part and they replaced it. they also told me that the switch had an electrical outlet on the box if I ever needed to plug something into it. next day I plugged something in and SPARKS and the breaker tripped again. called immediately. tech came out and said the installers didn't screw a screw in all the way inside the junction box so when I plugged something in, the ground wire was compromised and that made the sparks. he fixed it and all has been OK since (about 3 weeks). may use them for service in the future. may not.

We completely understand the hassle of having to take a day off to deal with unwanted issues, and are glad we were able to resolve the problem. We appreciate your business and hope that you will reach out to us again. We stand by our service and quality of work while serving Atlanta.

Great value and service

I got estimates from 4 companies and Atlanta Air Care offered the best value for new A/C and heating system for the brand I decided on. The A/C runs on the old refrigerant so rather than try to fix it, we decided to get a brand new unit. Ramsey and Alex arrived on time 8:30am and completed as scheduled 1:00pm. The unit was in the attic so they got a workout! They put down coverings over the flooring and cleaned up inside and outside when they were done.

it actually works

finally replaced my AC and furnace - my 1988 original equipment wasn't cutting it anymore. my house, like yours, is hotter than the devil's workshop upstairs, so i had "split zone" installed (2 thermostats, 1 for reach zone, running off the same 3 ton, 14 seer ac unit -also had the condenser unit relocated to the side of the house. to my surprise, "it actually works." i wish i had done it many moons ago. AAC had the best price of four estimates that i got and they finished the whole job in two days - in the middle of the white hot summer. the dudes worked hard in a tight crawl space and now i can actually use the second floor of my house. i am stunned that, once again, "it actually works"

Responsive and professional

Last winter when our furnace went out, one of the owners came out at 9:00 pm to see if anything could be done to get it working again. [He said he didn't want our two young kids to go to sleep without heat.] Unfortunately, it had to be replaced, which they did the next day.

Efficient and professional

Atlanta Air Care installed a new AC unit and did so efficiently and professionally. They sold me only what I needed and were very prompt. I liked their service so much that I had them back to install a hot water heater.

So far, all good

Atlanta Air Care installed all new heating and air, as well as a new hot water heater, in my new home. Daniel came out to give me an estimate and suggested a little bit of ductwork that would make the house more comfortable. He left me feeling confident that his colleagues would take good care of my needs. Three teams of installers came to the house on a Saturday morning and they got everything done in about 7 hours. They were friendly and efficient. I haven't moved in yet, but it sure is nice to have AC that really works as I'm moving in. Unless there are any surprises, I will be recommending Atlanta Air Care to anyone who asks.

Most unprofessional AC company in Atlanta

I recently used Atlanta Air Care for the replacement of our old AC system. They offered a fair price and I saw they had good reviews. In hindsight I greatly regret this decision. Our new system is not effectively cooling our house. They came out after I complained. Even though they claimed their install was flawless, they later admitted to finding air leaks which were their fault, and they patched them up. The system still isn't cooling effectively and they've now stopped returning my calls. The supervisor also ignored a long email I sent her asking to escalate my complaints to the owner. I sent another email stating that I would take action with the BBB if I didn't hear back from them. The supervisor claimed she alerted the owner to my complaint but it's now been weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. DO NOT USE this company. I am in the process of filing a BBB complaint but also want to warn the public. If you end up having any issues with your system, good luck getting them to fix them or respond to you.

Atlanta Air Care replied on 08-04-2015

At Atlanta Air Care, we strive to provide excellent customer service, customer satisfaction, safety, and solutions to repair an issue – our top priorities. We take pride in making sure that our technicians adhere to these priorities when they meet every single customer and will get to the bottom of an issue.

We installed the new system on June 23, 2015 - and responded same day to the call we received the following day about the system not keeping up when running at 68 degrees when we were experiencing temperatures above 90 degrees. We explained the temperature ratings in Georgia, and those ratings hold that the HVAC equipment should hold the indoor temperature 23 degrees below the outdoor temperature. We understood the system was working properly. After additional communication, we did revisit on June 30 to check the system again. This time, we determined that the evaporator coil had a bad TXV. A new one has been ordered and we are scheduled to replace it at the customer's earliest convenience. It is being replaced free of charge.

Again, our job is to provide quality customer service, provide solutions to your issues, and gain your trust as a client.
