Great food, Great time, 11/08/2010

Just returned from another great meal at Nicola's! There family meal is the way to go...the fried artichokes are delicious but so, too was everything else...the kibee, tabouli, babaghanoush...! And... then there was the singing and dancing...what a fun evening. We can't wait to return!

Lebanese Food, the way Mom would do it, 5/02/2010

The first time we came here was for my birthday six years ago, and I've had every birthday here since. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite of the meza is Baba Ganoush, though... John prefers the Hummus. If you enjoy meat, get the Mediterranean delight for the best kibbi in town. If you enjoy vegetarian, get Ana's delight with hummus, baba, artichokes and falafel. Nicola, the owner, makes you feel at home, and when you're done eating, he will prod you out of your chair to dance. The staff has not changed in all the six years I've been going there, and that should tell you something about the great management.

Great food, topped off with bellydancing!

I've brought new-to-Atlanta friends here on more than one occasion, and it has always been a great experiance. Good lebanese food (even lots of vegetarian-friendly options!) but the obvious highlight here is the dancing on weekends. The owner will literally pull you out of your seat and onto the dance floor!

Go for the baba, stay for Nicola!

This is hands-down the best baba ghanoush I've ever had. Absolutely delicious, very flavorful. Every time I go here, I get the sampler, and Nicola always brings me more baba because I tell him how much I love it. After the meal, it's fun to watch the belly dancers on the weekend nights, but the best part is how happy Nicola is. He brings a wonderful spirit to this place.

my favorite Lebanese restaurant!

My dad was Lebanese, so we were always in search of good Lebanese food. Even my husband likes Nicola's, because the family style option allows him to try a variety of foods and not commit to one entree. The owner does belly dancing on the weekends, very entertaining.

More pita? Yes please!

While the other reviews have all mentioned the dancing, we actually prefer to go during the week when it is quieter and less crowded. The menu is small, but what they do, they do quite well. Take three people and get the Mezze. It is a full portion of each of the appetizers and a half salad for less than $30, more than enough food and a good price. Also, like many of these small restaurants in Atlanta, the service is much warmer and more attentive than you would find at a corporate establishment.

Great Place

The food here was pretty good...but most people don't come here for the food. The belly dancing and the general atmosphrere is fun and festive. You may need to book reservations b/c this place seems very popular on friday nights.

Great Atmosphere

Nicola's is great to go to on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night when members from Nazeem Allayl are dancing. Get there early to get a good seat and order your food before the dancing starts. Nicola dances and will get the whole restaurant up to dance after the show. The food is good as well.

Good food, great hospitality

I've enjoyed eating here, and on a couple of occasions, Nicola has gotten the whole restaurant up and dancing. Unique to Atlanta, and fun for a family.
