Excellent doctor and staff, 8/21/2013

After being a patient at ACRM and transferring to my Ob, I can't help but miss the great, thoughtful and thorough staff and doctors at ACRM. Dr. Toner was great. Very calming and reassuring... throughout the process. I felt like he was thoughtful in his approach and did not push unnecessary procedures. I am happy to say after just a few short months with Dr. Toner we were able to get pregnant. The only downside is having to leave this great office and staff!

Very kind and calm, 8/01/2012

Dr. Toner was our main contact at ACRM. His personality was a good fit for myself and my husband. My fertility challeges were unexplained miscarraiges, late 30's, hypothyroid, and I was overweight... (low 200's). Dr. Toner was frank (but kind) about my age and weight. The key was to not be offended as these factors do negatively impact fertility. Because I knew these would be discussion points I was open to hearing about my options. He did some testing and found that I had some insulin resistance and recommended a nutritionist for me. We tried a few IUIs. Two didn't work and one ended in a miscarriage. I continued to work hard on my health, diet and exercise to lose some weight and to make sure I was below the max IVF weight limit. Dr. Toner never pushed IVF over IUI (instead he showed us the stats and gave us the options). If I had to do it again, I probably would have gone with IVF (with GSN)and skipped the IUIs (but I have no regrets). I was a little afraid of IVF and the needles, but after being through it I can say it wasn't bad at all. We didn't end up with a lot of viable embroyos, but it only takes one to work and thankfully we're expecting our first baby in a few weeks. Infertility is difficult and I would recommend using the resources ACRM offers (nutritionist, counselling, accupuncture etc). I'd also recommend staying away from fertility blogs as people can be very negative. Stick with the people at the clinic and keep on top of what they recommend.

Very caring and friendly

I had my first appointment at ACRM with Dr. Toner. He did an excellent job of making my husband and me comfortable. He explained everything in detail and really took his time talking to us.

Excellent Doctor

Dr. Toner is wonderful: kind, caring, compassionate and very positive. We cannot recommend him enough to anyone who is having trouble conceiving.
