Dr Dott is willing to think out of the box to support his patients in making the best decisions for their pregnancy and birth. He is very supportive of natural birth and does not push interventions for no reason.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Dott and of course seeing a new Ob-Gyn for the first time gives a little anxiety. Hands down - truly the very best office I have ever walked into. Right from the start I was greeted and felt welcomed. I didn't have any wait time at all. Dr. Dott is an extremely genuine, caring, and knowledgeable professional. I have never met a Dr. who took the time to not only just talk (which is rare in itself), but to listen. Thank you very much Dr. Dott and every person in your office!

I am at the end of my second high-risk pregnancy. Dr. Dott has given me great care and is attentive to my concerns and questions. He reassures all my worries as well. He's done this for a long time, so very trustworthy and experienced!

One of the 1st questions Dr. Dott asked me was if I thought I should continue my pregnancy. Yes, I have health problems and am on medications, but I have a 3 year old who I carried with exactly the same conditions. So after Dr. Dott suggested I have an abortion and I said that was not an option for me, he asked several other degrading questions in a VERY condescending tone and finally ended with 'I don't want to get involved in this.' And at that he dismissed me, in total shock, from his office. The office girls are pleasant and I guess if you need a basic doctor to guide you through a typical pregnancy, he may be for you. However, if you have anything abnormal or complicated with your pregnancy (or pre-pregnancy self), I HIGHLY suggest you find a doctor that doesn't mind actually working. I have NEVER been treated that way by ANYONE, let alone a physician that takes on oath to not do harm to others!!! In my personal opinion, he is uncaring, cold, and lazy.

A physician needs to gather enough information to determine if he is the right practitioner to provide care for someone. A physician has the responsibility to be honest with a prospective patient. When a prospective patient is high risk, it is important to be honest about the risk factors and to indicate if you feel you can provide appropriate care. I care for many high risk patients with good results. This prospective patient had many health issues which included the used of multiple addictive medications. A woman needs to be realistic about what is safe for her and which of her health issues and medications may potentially cause harm her unborn child. Based on her health issues and the risks that the use of multiple addictive medications posed to her unborn child, I suggested she find another care provider.
Dr. Dott is a miracle worker! I had been dealing with my medical issues for over 2 years and saw 8 doctors (2 of which were gynecologists) before finally discovering Dr. Dott. He solved my problems in one visit. He not only is a genius, but he also has the kindest bedside manner. He is a problem solver and thinks outside the box, which I found is very rare with many doctors. From now on, I will be going to Dr. Dott for my annual visits, as well as for any gynecological problems I may have.

I found Dr, Dott on this site and now I know why he has such rave reviews. I'm past the childbearing years so I've seen him for potentially serious gynecologist issues. He put me at ease, was compassionate and very knowledgable and quickly resolved the problems. I couldn't believe how quickly he allowed me to see him and he even answered my email himself. His staff is very friendly and the office is sunny and bright. I'm very pleased to have found him!

This is my 2nd. pregnancy with Dr. Dott. He is a very experienced and caring Dr. I had many questions with my 1st. and he always answered them clearly putting my mind at ease. His staff is very professional and I have never waited more than 10 min for a visit! Last week, I had a scare on Christmas Eve and called the after hours line. He called me back within 30 min and opened and met me at his office to give me an examination to avoid me from having to go to the ER. He truly cares about his patients and my husband and I recommend him to anyone!

I've always been apprehensive with previous OBG-YNs. The moment my husband and I met Dr. Dott we loved him. He actually cares and takes the time to answer any and all questions. He removed a cyst from my ovary leaving no scar tissue and delivered my beautiful baby girl naturally. Dr. Dott and his staff have made my pregnancy a wonderful experience. I recommend his practice to everyone I know.

Dr. Dott is a kind-hearted doctor with a lot of experience. He truly listens to his patients & allowed me to achieve a natural birth despite it being a known Footling breech. Northside Hospital gets a bad rap for being a c-section factory, but he is the diamond in the rough & trusts the mother's intuition. If you want to go naturally at Northside, Dr. Dott is THE WAY TO GO.

I had to switch doctors at 30 weeks pregnant and was a little nervous about getting a new doctor so far along. I went to Dr. Dott's practice and loved how intimate it was and you aren't treated like a number. They also eliminate those annoying forms by using electronic pads that are easy to use in their office. Dr. Dott and his nurse are a wonderful duo. The nurse is really sweet and friendly and Dr. Dott sits down with you, gets to know you and your situation before your appointment. Let's face it, it's awkward having someone probe your body, but having a one-on-one beforehand is calming. He also has a sense of humor and is very nice. The thing I loved most about Dr. Dott is that he's very informative and knows what he's talking about - no question is a dumb question. I would recommend him to any of my females friends, expecting or not!
