Doctors have a "passion" for their patients
My 1st experience with RVH was making an appointment via phone. The receptionist are friendly & knowledgeable. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes, the doctor worked with us every day to stablize her insulin. I will ALWAYS recommend this office to my friends, very reasonable prices too. They also work with all kinds of wildlife free of charge!! Want to adopt a darling new kitten? RVH is the place to go.

I have lost 2 cats here
I have lost 2 cats at this clinic.\r\rThe first was a very loving blue point Siamese. He came in with bladder issues, was hospitalized, and started getting better. We last visited with him on a Friday, then we got a call Monday to let us know he was gone.\r\rThe second was a 3 month old chocolate point Siamese. He and his brother came in with bronchial issues, having a hard time breathing. A visiting vet (???) gave a very cursory check and told us it was just a cold. One of them was dead before morning. We took his brother in to another clinic, where he got a real exam, a real diagnosis, and they saved his life.\r\rThe office staff was not kind to us. Wanted us to pay a very large bill without reviewing what was included (would not give us a printout until we paid). Once I paid and examined the bill, quite a few inaccuracies, so they had to process a credit. Sometimes the main office gal really was short with us.\r\rGo elsewhere. Get good consistent services and save your pets' lives. \r

Great clinic and staff!
They've treated all of my diabetic cats with understanding and compassion, after another clinic told me to put him down. We got one kitty off insulin due to being treated for bartonella - something many vets don't know or check for. My two ...

Worst boarding experience
I took my 6 month old corn snake for a week's boarding and it came back with poop all over it's cage and in it's water. Considering all they had to do was remove a soiled paper towel and the snake poops twice a week normally, this was quite a feat for it to get so bad. They claimed they couldn't do a fecal test I requested because the fecal matter was hard by the time they got to it. And they brought out the cage with the water bowls filled so it sloshed all over the bottom and everything was covered in wet nasty filth by the time we got home. All this for only $112! The receptionist was on a personal call when I visited and I had to wait for service, and my heat lamp knob was somehow broken.
