The quality of service and expertise is extremely extraordinary. My 12 year old son has always feared going to the dentist ever since he was five years of age. However, on July 25th 2014 he visited for the first the Vinings Center for Dentistry and truly enjoyed his experience. Dr. Lumpkin and her staff made him feel welcome and comforted. He went there for a cleaning and exam; however, upon reviewing his x-rays, Dr. Lumpkin stated he had an impacted decay baby tooth, that needed to be extracted immediately. Naturally, he was initially extremely scared because when he was five he experience an extration that was so painful he swore he never will go back to a dentist. Dr. Lumpkin and her staff comforted him and assured him it would not be painful. The tooth was extracted and to his amazement he did not feel pain and was throughly relieved of the fact he did not feel pain. He stated to me "mommy this is the best dental experience in all his 12 years of his life. He will not be apprehenison of going to the dentist, as long as it is at Dr. Lumpkin's office". My 10 year old also stated he enjoyed his cleaning and appreciated the staff teaching him how to properly floss". I live in Stockbridge, GA about a 45 minute drive to the dentist office, upon going to the office my sons asked why do we have to go so far, I stated it was the best in town. After their experience both of my sons,concur this was the best dentist ever". Kudos to Dr. Lumpkin, Jessica, and staff.
By far the best Dental office I have been to! Dr. Lumpkin came up with a plan for me and I am proud to say that it has been a great recommendation. I am on my way to a beautiful and helthy smile! Staff is great & Jessica is awesome! She was understanding and helped me come up with the BEST plan possible to ensure that I get the BEST care needed. Thanks Ladies!
If a visit to the dentist can be fantastic...then I have found a FANTASTIC dental office. I was a new patient with Dr. Lumpkin and Jeanne her hygienist a week ago. They are the nicest ladies ever! Jeanne was great with my cleaning. My teeth felt so clean afterwards. And during my exam with the Dr. she was very through and actually took her time with me. I did not feel rushed like at other offices I had been to. I need to come back in for a few small fillings and Jessica at the front desk was so polite and detailed with my insurance benefits and what I can expect to pay out-of-pocket for my treatment. This office is wonderful! I will be telling all my friends and family about them...FANTASTIC experience. Thank you for your time ladies!

I went to Dr. L. for over 6 years and loved everything about her office until she billed me for a service 2 1/2 year later. I have always paid her on time. This is maybe her 5th office manager and she was so rude. I asked Dr. L to call me she never called to resolve the issue. She write reviews but do not call her clients back. So disappointed!
First, I would like to thank you kindly for being patient for 6 years and loving our office. We work very hard to make your dental experience a good one. It appears that your issue is receiving a bill 2 years after your services. The approximately $70.00 bill for your services, were for your patient responsibility portion after your insurance benefits were paid. I apologize if your account was not collected immediately, but when the audits found the balance and it was found to be accurate, the staff has to collect the account. Because it is two years old, does not erase the debt. I would also like to address the succession of office managers over the time span that this has been due. When it is found that an office team member is not performing their job to our expectations,( possibly in your case as well), then changes have to be made. It is a necessary process to find an employee that meets the needs of both the patients and the practice, efficiently and with courtesy. The benefits outweigh the inconvenience. During your exchange, I cannot say that the office manager was not “rude”, because you alone and your interpretation of the conversation determine that. I can, however, say that anytime money is being collected, everyone’s general interpretation of the attitude about the caller is usually deemed rude. It is a common defensive stance to such a call and I can understand that. I would like to apologize if the exchange was felt to be rude. I generally do not look at patient’s accounts individually because it is my belief that as a practitioner, I would rather not look at a patient who comes for treatment through the lens of whether or not they owe me money. I want to concentrate on providing good patient care and not filter that treatment with their financial history. That is why office managers and accountants handle financial aspects of treatment and not me on an individual account basis. The last point that I would like to address is not calling you on your account. I cannot say what happened if you left me a message, since messages taken can get lost in the mounds of paper, notes, files, etc. that I have to contend with on a daily basis. This being true, it is not my intent to not respond to your call. Usually, patients will leave an email or send a letter if they do not hear from me. I did, however, recently call you several times and left several messages, and you also did not return my call. I too, do not know if you received these messages so I will not make a judgment on your intent to communicate. Again, thank you for having been a part of our practice and if there is anything that we can do to assist you in the future, we avail ourselves to you. -------------Arva O. Lumpkin, DMD
First impression is everything! From the moment you walk in being greeted with such a friendly front desk office manager, to the warm and welcoming décor, to the best dental hygienist and most knowledgeable and professional dentist ever, my experience was a pleasure all the way around. I will be a repeat patient for sure.

Dr. Lumpkin and her staff were very nice, patient and approachable. I appreciate the time each of them spent with me. I have been in Atlanta for over 10 years and have been to different dentists. I can't say enough about Dr. Lumpkin and her staff. I have been her patient since 2009. She mapped out the needs of my teeth....let me know what needed to be done first, and what could wait...and areas that we were "waiting to see" when treatment was needed. Her hygenists are fabulous, very knowledgeable, and never cause me pain, as I have some sensitive spots due to previous harsh brushing habits. My Husband is now a patient, and is equally pleased with their service. I am very comfortable referring friends to Dr. Lumpkin, as I know they will receive excellent care. The office staff is very competent, always courteous, on top of appointments, and do a great job handling the billing of insurance. You won't be sorry if you seek the care of Dr. Lumpkin and her staff!
