HOME REMODELING AT ITS BEST
Mike is an excellent carpenter. He was the general contractor for the renovation of my home kitchen. Mike is probably most proud of the seamless connection between the original brick row house (about 100-yrs old) and the new addition. He did the work or selected and hired the contractors from the demolition of the old shed kitchen to laying the foundation and building the new rooms.
I approached Mike with the design by John Darling-Wolf, an independent architect of atelier darling-wolf ARCHITECTURE+DESIGN located in Mt Airy, for the kitchen and a small powder room. Mike took it from there and implemented the building. Because of the relatively small size of the area there really was no room for error. Mike added to the plan with his input on a source for a window used as the back splash under one set of cabinets, a removable piece of baseboard to expedite cleaning below the heater, an overhang detail above the door leading to the garden, and a practical suggestion on shortening one of the raised flower beds.
Mike takes pride in finding good materials and building to last.

GREAT CARPENTER
To Whom It May Concern: My husband Joe and I had Mr. Rogo to do various jobs for us over the years. Mike replaced 24 windows for us some including new wood trim. (Very nice work) Exterior doors were installed, great job!!! My dining area was done in pine moldings and doors, another fine job. French doors along with archways were installed at my living room entry and dining area, fantastic!! We have recommended Mike to our family, friends and neighbors. His work is excellent and he is a very fair man.You can depend on Mike. There?s no job too small or too big for Mike, he can do it.
