Deluxe Roofing by AGA Home Improvement L

I hired Deluxe based on Kudzu to strengthen my deck support post footing damaged by erosion. A few days after work was complete, Joe made arrangements to remove the 2x4's used to for the concrete base and pick up payment. He picked up the payment but didn't remove the 2x4's. He said he'd send someone. During that time, I told him I would add more dirt and drainage to eliminate the erosion problem. He specifically told me not to add more dirt until the 2x4's are removed. Otherwise it would cause problems. A week went by and no follow up. I spend the following week leaving 3 voice messages and an email with no reply. It's been almost 3 weeks now since the work has been complete and I haven't been able to work on the landscaping. I will be removing the 2x4's and of course I will still hold Deluxe liable for any resulting from it. But be forewarned. Once these guys get paid, you won't be able to get a hold of them.

Skip did a great job during the quoting process and we chose Deluxe although they were not the lowest price. Everything was done as promised with one exception and that was quickly rectified to our satisfaction by Skip. This is a good company and I highly recommend them for any roofing project. The value we received in material, installation and warranty far offset the higher price.

I was really pleased when, a year after installation, I called to request copies of all the paperwork they had provided (material descriptions, guarantees, etc.). Wendy was very friendly and prompt in fulfilling my request. Good to know Deluxe Roofing is nice *after* the sale!

Had two roofs to have done. One on our personal residence and one on a rental property. Skip was very thorough when answering my questions (and there were many!), the workers were neat, quick, efficient and did an excellent job on both properties.

I wouldn’t say this company is hard to beat, because I don’t believe they can be beat. From the start, the estimate was clear and all the materials that were going on my roof were typed by brand name. The price was in line with other estimates, but other estimates were written so that I wasn’t sure what I was getting under the shingles. The crew was great and acted very professional. There was always a forman on the job with a phone that could call the owner in case he was needed. I couldn’t be more pleased with the final job. In a few days I went from worst to first in the neighborhood.
