Nice Older Best Western
Good: The employees are great and seem to really welcome your business. They have a hot breakfast each morning and reasonably fast internet service. ...
Worth the drive!
This is one of the best hotels I've been. Dogs are allowed to stay. They even greeted us with a dog kit, complete with a fabric bowl, can lids, etc.. They welcomed our dog with delight! On top of that, the bell boy took him out for a walk! The room was gorgeous with a fantastic view of the waterfall. You know you're at a great place when the towels are extra thick, extra big, and embroidered (ha-ha). This place also offers golf. The totlot and croquet is a nice addition. Love, love, love this place!!!
Former Tucson Residents Favorite place to stay
As a former resident of Tucson, I find myself in town alot, and am not fond of sleeping on a friends couch. Congress is my quiet, romantic, get away for me and my sweety, with a killer night life to boot. There really is no better weekend than a weekend there. With no TV's in the room, and everything restored to the period... its a romantic break from the everyday grind... and the club and bar are fab.
Super Duper Comfy
Oh man. I think this was the best sleep I have had in a hotel yet. I can't speak for everyone but even though I live in Tucson I like to go get a hotel and just spend the night there... it is like a mini-vacation. This is one I will defenantly go to again.
Our room had a great view but was a tad small. The bed was kind of hard. Hosekeeping was on our floor from about 9am to around 6pm. It was somewhat disruptive. The halls smelled of old cigarettes but it was very clean. The lobby area was very nice and the staff was great. They were very helpful. The restaurant was okay. nothing spectacular. The pool was amazing. It was big and the water was nice.
