Wonderful Place to Stay and Relax
I had a chance to stay at the Jamul Haven Bed and Breakfast and it was the most wonderful place to stay and relax. There are many activities on site you can do if interested or just sit by the pool and read. The hostess was warm & welcoming and the food they prepared was the best. They even iron the sheets on the beds. I want everyone to have this experience...just go and have fun.
Superb in every way!
What a wonderful experience! Great location! All we did was cross the street to San Diegos beautiful Mission Bay! Restaurants, beaches and bars were within walking distance from our quiet street. Our Tuscany rooms recent renovation was fantastichad a real decorators touch! The room was spotless. It had granite countertops, hardwood floors, comfortable bed and sheets, a seating area and a very nice large walk-in shower with the extra touch of organic shampoo and conditioner. Theres a flat screen TV, CD/radio and wireless access. The kitchenettes mini fridge was stocked with an array of good quality breakfast and snack items. There were plenty of refreshments, a coffee pot...
Wonderful Inn at the beach
We have stayed here now on 2 different weekends to get close to the beach. We take long walks on the beach and just relax. The owners are very friendly and the home-made bread and muffins in the morning were delicious. We've stayed in two rooms now, they are delightful, and the prices are very reasonable. Our favorite is the Penthouse Suite with its own private hot tub. This little inn is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway or vacation. It's quiet and, best of all for us, 4 minutes from Moonlight Beach!
Elegant and sophisticated
My wife and I are in the hotel business in Chicago. We were told about SeaBreeze by a friend, and spent a weekend here. Ann, the hostess, is charming and sophisticated. Her decor is elegant without being "over the top" like other over-done B&Bs we have stayed at. The atmosphere, the decor, the home-made breakfasts... it was all good.
If you love antiques and wonderful service... :)
This is not a B&B, but a beautiful and affordable place to stay in historic Julian. We stayed specifically in Ruby's Parlour which has unfortunately a very creaky and old bed, but that was OK for us! It was most definitely antique and the owners have strived to keep all of the Historical House's original decor and/or furnishings. We have yet to enjoy Ed's Playhouse (a tiny cottage in the back garden) or the Sunporch. The price for the stay is excellent, especially in comparison to the local bed and breakfasts. There are lots of fun things to do in town especially during the fall season with the apple festival when Julian really comes to life with visitors! Just a note, if you stay on...
