Best Little Costume Shop in the West
Good selection, great rates, and best of all they will pull the costumes from your measurements and have everything ready. Will exchange things that aren't right. Super friendly.
I teared up during the performance, and hoped that the company I was with, did not notice it. Having been to a few plays, most of them at the Glendale Center Theathe, this was a new experience for me. It wasn't the funeral scene that got to me. Nor was it the wedding scene. It was the entire ensemble of cast, costumes, and performance that was so remarkable. But the magic of Learner and Lowe's story was so lovingly handled by the cast, it seemed as though they were born to play it. For couple of hours I was transported to to a wonderful land with beautiful people. (In AND out of their character). If you miss this one, you've missed something special!
Best Vintage & Great Costumes
Aaardvarks either moved or opened a second store on Artesia Blvd., off of Inglewood Ave. They have some great vintage clothes and everything you need for a costume all year round. They also have great accessories, like belts, buckles, hats, sunglasses, wigs, etc.
Oh my gosh...do they ever have great costumes here!?!?! Everything you can imagine to rent or to own. Get invited to a 50s party? How about 60s or 70s...
