The collection was manageable
The collection was manageable after an upscale lunch with friends and we enjoyed its location and presentation; thanks to the private collector for making it available to us
One of our favorite activities
I have a 2-year old toddler and a baby, and we love this place. My friend had an annual membership and we decided to spring for one. Since our kids are under 3, they are free, so we just paid for a couples membership, which is about $50. Since admission is $6, after we went 5 times, we already saved money. The zoo is not humongous, but it's just the right size for us to see everything and then have lunch together. There is a petting zoo portion, a family farm there, and it was neat to see my son evolve from trip to trip, so that eventually now he has no problem feeding the goats. There was a rare baby monkey born that we have loved visiting and see grow. The zoo is also a good place to have...
Family Friendly and Educational!
Keeping with the small-town feel, the children's museum in Temecula is clean, interesting, fun and educational! Our whole family enjoys visiting and we continue to learn new things every time we visit!
Nice place for a field trip
I've been to this museum on field trips quite a few times in elementary school. The exhibits here are fun and entertaining. They aren't just looking at artwork. In fact, a lot of the exhibits are interactive, which makes it fun.
Beautiful Cultural Center in Escondido
Most people living in North San Diego County think they have to go to La Jolla or downtown San Diego to find great entertainment. The Cal Center for the Arts proves them wrong. I have seen wonderful concerts, broadway shows and dance companies at this beautiful venue. Parking is close and there are good restaurants within walking distance. The lack of entertainment targeting patrons under the age of 55 is glaring and if corrected would increase my visits to the center.
