Our favorite spot this summer!
Our family has visited three other rv parks this sumnner and I must say we enjoyed our stay here above the others. Paradise offers a game room for entertainment, which a couple of others did not. Also the hot tub and pool were a bonus when we were not at the beach.
Nice but rocky!
We enjoyed our camping stay here; unfortunately you camp on top of gravel due to California's history of fires. But you can have a camp fire, as many campgrounds do not permit them! Just be sure to bring a working air mattress! Oh, and the staff in the onsite camp store were friendly and helpful!
This beach is gorgeous and the surf is always perfect. It's a great place to meet with friends in between SD and LA!
right in your own backyard
I grew up going to Santee Lakes, and it's wonderful to see the community activities available now. The summer movies are great fun and an inexpensive night out with family and friends. the campground is wonderful, with sites that are large enough to accomodate today's larger riggs. I feel comfotable letting our daughter ride her bike around the campground while keeping in touch with a walkie talkie. There is a swimming pool available during the summer. My husband & daughter also like to go night fishing, which is only available to campers. As a previous reviewer stated with fuel prices at $5 a gallon it is nice to have such a nice place so close. We live just over a mile away, and joke...
Best In Town
This camp is more than a day care for children. Not only does it have door-to-door transporation (with drivers with great driving records), the kids get to do more than typical camps. It's an "old fashioned" camp where kids get to swim and play field games and go hiking. It's difinitely a safe, fun summer to remember. The staff is incredibly warm and sincerely friendly.
