Great place to train
My family trains at Quartz Hill Karate studio. The instructor actually teaches all his classes not like the other schools where they have young kids teaching all the classes. He has a passion for karate and is very good at what he does. The students learn how to defend themselves period! But they learn a lot more than that including confidence, discipline, respect. You will not get pushed through belts. You have to learn all the requirements of the belts and demonstrate them at a high standard in order to advance. I am amazed at how good the students become at this school. They learn so much and the black belts are outstanding. Everyone is very nice and helpful at the studio. You...
Self defense techniques that work
San Fernando Valley Martial Arts Dojo is committed to practical self-defense techniques that work. It's not a fancy place, but the instructors and students are genuinely interested in improving your skills, confidence, and fitness. No big egos or macho toughness. No breaking boards. But you will learn how to handle yourself against numerous different types of attacks - regardless of your size or the attacker's size. Small classes at a very reasonable price with a lot of class choices throughout the week. In short, a supportive environment to strengthen your health and self-defense skills.
I do believe no words are needed. Okay, sometimes a couple of the instructors drive me insane!!! But, I still think of them as my family and I am willing to help them get 5 stars across the board!!! I am positive they are willing to work with me as well.
Best martial arts school
I was o excited about attending a tae kwon do class, therefore I came at this one, every expectation I had has been fulfilled, and I am sure I have chosen one of the best in the business. The sensei is great, the atmosphere is great, and my self defense is now great too thanks to the tae kwon do class I attended there.
really cool place
This is the only Shaolin place that actually teaches more than the kicking and punching. The kids learn about meditation, making tea, philosophy and history of the Shaolin Temple. Not to mention that the Abbot from the temple in China was just there blessing the temple!!! Wow!
